The following series is a first-person story written by Mister Clorb himself as he investigates the strange world around him while trying to discover his past. There is also a twist. The story's plot is directly derived, then interpreted from actual gameplay. The game mode is set to Hardcore, so, if Mister Clorb dies due to my inability to perform well under an extreme combat situation (or a creeper), the thread and story will be finalized. In-game screen shots will also be provided.
All I can remember is a dream of a woman with dark hair. However, I cannot, for the life of me remember her face, only the attire which covered her illuminating presence. Similar to what I am wearing now, a dirty lab coat with dark trousers, but she lacked the tie. Her voice was strong, but calm. The words she spoke didn't have much meaning so I didn't pay any attention. I was simply in awe at both her beauty and strength that she presented as she stood in front of me.
This dream, calming yet haunting at the same time slowly left as open my eyes and realized I wasn't sleeping indoors. I was freezing. My bones trembled as I suddenly grasped the reality that surrounded me: I was outside in a freezing forest. How did I not freeze to death during the cold, winter night? I don’t know.
I knew it was early morning because I could still see the sun at the horizon. However, gazing at it caused no pain whatsoever to my eyes. It was an odd feeling, but that was only the beginning of what I called odd.
What soon hit me like a sack of bricks was the realization of zero civilization. No matter how far I peered beyond the hills of the frozen forest, I could not find any hints of buildings, roads, and lights of human settlement. No noise of busy highways, and no idol chatter of passerbys. It was soothing. Though I could not remember much of my previous life, it would seem to be something I hated. I wonder if anybody had missed me. It doesn't matter now. What matters is finding something, or someone that can bring these memories that have seem to just disappear overnight back, but where do I look?
I decided that it was probably best to not stand in one spot and try solve the dilemma that I was in, that’s something I could do whilst walking. Without a clue of where to go, I simply headed south. Call it instinct or dumb luck, but within ten minutes of walking, the air around me began to warm. It was weird come to think of it, the cold air that I understood seemed to have no effect on me. I knew it was cold, I felt it was cold, but for some reason that I cannot explain...it just wasn't.
