NOTE: The object in this story (the Pandorica) is taken from the Doctor Who episode, however everything else remains unrelated.
The Pandorica is a believed to be fairy tale, carried on the breath of Minecraft's history. The story tells of a "being", something supernatural or alien that was feared more than anything else in Minecraftia. Evil, of course, more evil than possibly imagined. Because the story has been carried out through history like Chinese Whispers, many aspects of the story remain unknown, such as "it's name, or origin/appearance. Eras before Steve's awakening, the "thing" roamed what used to be Minecraft, destroying (or worse) anything in it's path, including...living creatures. According to the legend, nothing could reason with it, fight it or simply stop it, long enough to feel their own demise. The very few people who remained alive, went into hiding, later becoming NPC Villagers. Over time, Minecraft became merely ashes, the sky was literally fire, and any remaining piece of mother nature, was crisp. When everything seemed at it's worst...a voice was heard. Not a shout, not a whisper, but a voice. It took time, before the remaining alive, realized, it was coming from the heavens. For the past era, the gods had been watching everyone and everything suffering in flames, they tried many ways of stopping the "thing" but no such luck came. It wasn't until very late in our story, that something happened...what most would consider the best thing in the world, the gods managed to not destroy, but trick the "being" into an object. A cage or a box, no one in truth knows, but a form of containment, a prison that was impossible to escape. No matter how much you tried, you would not be able to leave the Pandorica, not even by death. (the prison forces you to stay alive)
Yet...the dreadful part of this story must come. You see, every prison must have a lock, something to make sure containment was certain. However the gods didn't use an ordinary lock, that would would be so easy, it would be a joke to the "thing." So they came up with an idea, instead of a strong material which may be possible to compromise, they used a person, a living creature that would once spawned unlock the Pandorica. This lock was Steve...
