Hello and good day everyone! After reading about the Minecraft "religion" Cubeaism (be sure to check it out), I decided to try my hand at creating another Minecraft "religion". After several weeks of work (I do marching band, go to school, and I'm lazy) I present to you Javism. Javism (or as I say, my "masterpiece") is a fake "religion" for Minecraft in order to flesh out the game more. Please don't take this in the wrong direction. I'm not trying to sound blasphemous or sacrilegious. This is merely a way to add more "spice" to the game (like in Skyrim or D&D). I'll appreciate it if you don't post any comments screaming about how I'm dishonoring your god/gods, or if you're an atheist, nothing at all. Trust me, I know. I'm a regular churchgoer myself (a Quaker, if you really want to know). Anyway, on to the fun stuff. I have put together for you the Booleafe, the Javist holy book. Use it in anyway you wish as long as you don't warp the concept. Soon (hopefully) I'll add banners and some other fun stuff. Lastly, if you spot any sort of error or have a question or a request, feel free to contact (PM) me. Thanks and enjoy!
The Booleafe
Notes: Scholars and historians are always turning up new material, I'll be sure to post it if they give it to me. Also, the - symbol denotes the Ancient Language, a form of language/writing that is seen as a series of ever-changing glyphs.
Chapter I: The Darkcube Shatters
The Story of How the Overworld Came Into Being or The Darkcube Shatters
In the beginning there was nothing, for the world and not yet been written into existence. The creator Notch discovered the universe he rejoiced, for he had finally found a place to call his own. He set about to constructing the universe of our forefathers. From the darkness he wrote the first god: the Eternal Viewer; Lord of the Universe. His right eye opened and shone bright in the darkness. It came to be called the Sun and became known to the Blockfolk as the Greater Eye. His left eye opened next and reflected the light from the first eye. It came to be called the Moon and became known as the Lesser Eye. Next, he cut off his hair and molded it into a ball and breathed upon it. It hardened into a ball and he breathed upon it, it became the bedrock layers of the world. He scratched his nose and sneezed. A patch of darkness blew away from the sneeze and left an open area on top of the bedrock. Seeing this foundation of a world the Eternal Viewer was ecstatic He cried tears of joy and two fell into the world and became gods. The other tears scattered in the darkness and became the stars. Anyway, one tear fell on the bedrock and became Khnun, the god of the earth. The other tear evaporated and became Ivneila, the goddess of the sky. Khnun rose up, handsome and strong in hues of browns and grays. Ivneila emerged from a cloud of mist, breathtaking and beautiful in her dress of blues and whites. The two young gods huddled together to stay warm away from the cold of space. Thus occurred the formation of the Overworld and the dawn of history.
Chapter II: The Birth of the Godcouncil
The Story of How the Council of Gods Came To Exist or The Council Forms or The Birth of the Lingerhonsi
Eons passed and the gods grew lonely. The Eternal Viewer called forth to his children and spoke. "My children," he called, "My precious, precious children, I have done what I can to create this universe but now it is your turn. You came to being because of me, so shall it be that others shall come to being because of you. This world is yours to shape now. I give you my blessing, go now and do as you will." So the two younger gods pondered how to form the world best. "It could be," Khnun pondered aloud, "That our children, like us, adopt aspects of the world and help us to shape it." "That is truly a wise idea," Ivneila responded, "Let us carry out this wonderful plan." So it came to pass that the aspect principle was created in order to form the world. Time passed and the other gods came to existence. First came Liani; goddess of the surface and mother of plants. Then came Hroan; the god of the underground and lord of all things that lie beneath the surface. After them came Viva; goddess of the Void. Following her was Aluina; gooddess of the water and all its depths. Zina and Greer came next; goddess and god of fog and clouds, respectively. After those two came Jorth; god of sleep and observer of all dreams. The last of these new deities was Zraizer; the god of mobs. In time, these new gods discovered their aspects and the all the gods rejoiced. Later, Hroan and Aluina married and had a son; Pyrus; god of fire and lava. Liana and Greer married and had a son as well; Mysturus; god of the Aether and one of the most mysterious gods. Viva and Jorth married and had a daughter; Tila; goddess of time. The last to marry were Zraizer and Zina, who had a son, one of the most powerful and mysterious gods; the great ---------; lord of humans. The younger gods took up their aspects, and thus came to exist the Lingerhonsi; the Godcouncil.
Chapter III: How Knowledge Came to Being
How Knowledge Came to Being or On the Creation of Humans
In time the world came to be populated by all sorts of mobs, creations brought to life by Zraizer in order to bring sentient life to the world. However, these mobs lacked true intelligence and many merely wandered around, oblivious to all but themselves and their kin. The other gods were displeased and asked Zraizer if he wouldn't mind creating a more intellectual race. Zraizer promised them that he would and wondered how he would do it. One day, while walking through a cave he came across a shiny, green stone, which we now know as an "emerald" or "testicaf". Taking this stone he climbed to the surface and emerged into the sunlight. Thinking the stone would make an excellent assistant he removed the Stick of Life and Death (Zrimerizas, in the Ancient Language) from his belt and touching it to the stone he muttered an incantation. The stone immediately melted down and formed into a skeleton. Taking some mud he threw it on the emerald skeleton and muttered another incantation. There was a brilliant flash and when it disappeared there stood a being. His name was Testican and he became Zraizer's chief helper. Zraizer told him to create an intellectual race to please the other gods. Testican then created the Testificates, giving them; villages, golem defenders, emerald currency, and leather robes. However, the Testificates lacked the aspect of invention, thus leaving them in a standstill civilization To this day they continue to do as they did millions of moons ago. The gods were displeased with Testican and had Zraizer create zombies to attack the Testificates every night. So now every night the Testificates cower in their homes in fear of being bitten by one of the Undead, or Yugrune in the Ancient Language. --------- stepped forward and claimed that he could create a better race, the humans, or hebry. He set about doing this. Taking two oak saplings he prepared to create his race. He took some dirt and poured water on it, and smeared the resulting mud on the saplings. He spoke an incantation and the saplings formed into the first human man and woman. Before he could finish his work they stood up and dashed off, as naked and stupid as the common chicken. You see, by touching the humans while they were being created --------- transferred the Spark of Survival, or Yana Du Yanga in the Ancient Language into the humans. The gods were displeased and sent --------- to find the humans. By the time he found them they had began to populate. Alongside the parents there were twins, a son and daughter. --------- cornered the humans and began to chant chant the Incantations of Knowledge, or Heryanba Du Horth. The other gods saw what he was doing and cried, "Stop, you are turning these things into gods, they do not deserve this honor!" --------- kept on chanting. The other gods descended and shook --------- until he had to stop the incantations. However, the gods had not stopped him in time. The humans were now quite wealthy in knowledge. However, because the incantations --------- spoke were not complete the humans retained their mortal qualities. The humans remembered that they were in the presence of gods and fell on the ground, worshiping them. The gods were pleased, for they now had their intelligent race. Seeing as the humans had the Divine Knowledge, or Crecizo Horth in their minds the gods made them a deal, if they would have more children, then they would be turned into gods. In time the humans had more children and a small tribe of twenty-four was formed. It included the four original humans and their twenty children. The gods were pleased and made the four original humans into gods through several rituals and incantations. When they were done the four original humans said goodbye to their children and prepared for ascension. --------- said one final incantation and and the Spark of Survival within the four original humans ignited and detonated, consuming their bodies and leaving behind nothing but a fine, crimson ash. From this ash rose four new deities. They were: Horth; god of knowledge, Sivi; goddess of experience, and their twins Horthain and Horthaini; god and goddess of alchemy and language, respectively. These deities rose to the heavens to forever watch over their kin.
Chapter IV: On the Formation of the Nether
On the Formation of the Nether, Lar Grather
The ages passed and humans lived in comfort, guided by Giby; goddess of construction However, they lacked fire. --------- went to his brother Pyrus and asked if he wouldn't mind giving fire to the humans. Pyrus said he wouldn't mind and descended to the surface to carry out his task. However, he was a bit overzealous and soon there were fireballs flying around everywhere. In mere minutes the surface world was a burning inferno and great geysers of lava sprang up from cracks in the ground. Many humans perished and the rest hid in caves in order to avoid dying in the fiery hellstorm. Seeing his task complete Pyrus returned to the heavens. He went to --------- and asked him what he thought of his gift. Seeing so many of his humans killed --------- replied that the gift was absolutely horrible. In a fit of rage Pyrus conjured two sticks of powdered fire and stabbed --------- in the eyes, leaving them white and glowing for all eternity. --------- attacked Pyrus and the worst fight in the history of the universe followed. The other gods pulled them apart and banished Pyrus to an empty prison. From his sorrow he created the ghasts. The two fiery rods became blazes. All the other Nether mobs soon followed. There he sat in exile and grief for millions of moons. Much later, the gods felt ashamed at banishing him and went to him. They found him, naked and unconscious in his prison. They woke him and healed his mind and body. He begged them to forgive him. --------- stepped forward and gave him the Nether Stars as a token of peace and forgiveness. Pyrus proposed that his prison become a world of fire so that his fire wouldn't bother the surface world ever again. The other deities agreed. So it came to pass that the Nether was filled with fire and became the seat of Pyrus's power. He was then relieved from exile and now the gods will live in peace for the rest of eternity.
Chapter V: A Brief Explanation of the End
A Brief Explanation of the End, Lar Nua
This was one of the most precious parts of ancient copies of the Booleafe. However, the text of this chapter has long since been lost to the ages.
Chapter VI: A Brief Explanation of the Multiverse
A Brief Explanation of the Multiverse
No one knows exactly how, but somehow the universe became a multiverse. Each being was stranded in their own universe. All beings eventually learned how to travel between universes in the multiverse. This is how existence remains to this day.
You and I have been thinking of the same name for our minecraft religion, but ours are completly different.

This has been DE@D-hope you enjoyed the message-?!?
Wow, this was really well thought-out (compared to the "In the beginning, Notch created Minecraftia" thing that I am so tired of seeing). I like the names you used for everything and I like how the gods have their own personalities. I also like what you did with the - .
Just one little error with Chapter IV:
--------- went to his brother Pyrus and asked if he wouldn't mind giving fire to the humans. Pyrus said he wouldn't minded didn't mind and descended to the surface to carry out his task.
I hope that scholars and historians studying Javism uncover more insight into this fascinating historic Minecraftian document!
