In the old world of Minecraft, the humans, now known commonly as Steves, were just a tribe. They lived in fear of the great, powerful kingdoms. To the east of the Steve Tribe was the Kingdom of Creepers. To the west was the Kingdom of the Undead. The the south was the Kingdom of Arachnids, and to the north was the vast jungle, home to the Kingdom of Ocelots. Men from the KoC and KoU would always attack the Steves, viciously tearing the Steves apart. Eventually, the Steve Tribe grew into its own kingdom.
As a fresh new kingdom, the Kingdom of Humans declared war on the KoU. The humans were used to using wooden swords and stone swords, but the discovery of iron paved the way for the humans' dominance. The Human King built up an army of over 200 Steves fully equipped with iron armor and swords. He also built up a navy, consisting of 50 iron armor Steves on boats. With a huge cheer, they were all off, ready to attack the KoU's fort, Fort Blackhert. In these old times, every creature was able to build, to some degree.
When the Steve Army and the Undead Army both met at Fort Blackhert, the fighting immediately began. The humans were at a disadvantage : it was night. The skeletons attacked first, making the Steves panic when arrows fell at them, seemingly out of nowhere due to the night sky. The zombies charged out of their fort and began attacking up close with the Steves. More zombies than Steves died in this battle, but the zombies were able to respawn from their spawners within the fort. The skeletons were easier to kill, as the Steves were able to knock the skeletons off of the fort walls' battlements. When most skeletons were dead, the Steves wielding pickaxes and axes rushed in to destroy the walls. Before the skeletons could respawn, half of the walls of Fort Blackhert were destroyed. The enraged Undead Army charged blindly at the Steves, but finally the results of using iron for armor and tools showed. Slowly but surely the human army pushed through the army of zombies and skeletons. Finally, just as dawn approached, the Steve general lit the undead flag on fire, and replaced it with the new flag of the Steves. Horrified undeads ran away, and the exhausted but happy humans celebrated. They found many books and gave the humans newfound knowledge and information.
Back at the undead capitol, the enraged Zombie King and Skeleton Queen called on their creeper allies for help. The result was a triple threat army charging towards the new human capitol. However, the humans expected an invasion and were ready. They predicted where the opponents were going to come from, and rallied at one side of a great ravine. When the triple mob army arrived, they were dumbfounded and didn't know what to do. In this particular battle, the humans were smarter than the skeletons, and attacked with bows first. Zombies and creepers retreated while skeletons bought time for them. This particular army didn't expect to have to build, and as a result had no builders. When the zombies/creepers ran away, almost every skeleton was dead. The humans built a bridge to the other side and looted the bones and arrows, and some bows.
However.. before the zombies and creepers retreated, four creepers were knocked into the ravine.
These creepers lived. They were severely injured but lived. They did not know what to do, but they slowly evolved. Their skin turned black from the darkness of the ravine. To walk faster, they grew taller. Eventually they were so good at running they were able to teleport. Their eyes grew purple, and they grew arms. These four creepers who were once part of an army, learned to build. They declared themselves independent from the creepers and named themselves the Endermen. A new kingdom was to emerge.
Years of peace and prosperity followed. Eventually the human kingdom turned into an empire, and truly became humans instead of Steves. Skins were developed and the Human Empire had many diverse people. Diamond was discovered, and the humans found enough to provide every general of the army and navy with diamond armor and swords. Eventually, they even discovered how to enchant, effectively turning the human army into an even more capable fighting force. The Human Empire asked the Kingdom of Arachnids if they wanted to ally, but the answer was no. They then asked the Kingdom of Ocelots, and the Ocelot King agreed. Humans were sent to live in the KoO and ocelots were sent to the HE. Some ocelots even became cats.
Eventually, the KoO and HE merged to form an even larger Human Empire.
Tragedy for the new HE started one morning.
A group of human miners set out in a ravine (not the Enderman ravine) to obviously, mine and get materials. They saw something, and mistaking it for a creeper, slayed it. A piece of string dropped. They realized it was a spider, but they didn't realize it was actually the Spider King. Enraged, the KoA merged with the KoU and KoC to form the Hostile League. Meanwhile the Endermen built their own empire deep in the ravine.
Now, there were three major players in this game of life and death. The Hostile League, Human Empire and Ender Empire.
The Ender Empire allowed both Hostile troops and Human troops into their ravine. (The ravine was now twice as big due to the Endermen moving blocks). One day, the humans decided to kill all hostile mobs in the Ender Ravine. They finally exposed the ocelots' and cats' greatest strength. Ocelots and cats jumped into the ravine by the hundreds, landing on the bottom as if they were chickens. Terrified, the majority of Hostile troops in the ravine, (creepers) ran away. This is why creepers are afraid of ocelots and cats.
To this day, the Human Empire and Hostile League are at war. The Endermen attack anyone who provokes them.
