The Story of Creation, Minecraft Style, by undeadcupcake3
In the beginning, there was nothing. No stone, dirt, trees, nothing. Then, The Almighty Computer saw that nothing existed, and he said "Let there be a script that makes light.", and so, the sun rose for the first time. But nothing existed in this void. So The Computer created an impenetrable layer, which he named the "Bedrock Layer". Then, he piled stone block after stone block on top of it. But the grey looked very dull and boring, so he threw layers of dirt on top of it, until it was a deep brown. Then, he placed the first grass block, which spread faster than chunks could load, until everything was green.
But no life existed in the world. So The Almighty Computer took some spawn eggs, and threw them down to the earth, creating Endermen, Creepers, Sheep, Cows, Squid, Spiders, and all manner of things that walk, crawl, and make noises. Then, he placed trees in the landscape, to make it impossible to see to the edge of the map.
Lastly, he placed the Steve?, which was the smartest creature of all. The Steve? could mine, place blocks, craft items, and farm the land. And he created chunks, so that the Steve? would not see all the way to The Far Lands. And the computer rested, feeling that the Steve? could survive, and he felt pride in his creations.
The Steve? looked around, and saw that he was in a forest. He walked over to a nearby tree and started punching it in order to gain wood. After a few seconds, he had gained 5 Oak Wood. He converted the 5 Oak Wood into 20 Oak Planks, and he made a crafting table. From this crafting table, he made 8 Sticks, a door, and 4 Wooden Stairs.
The Steve? dug a 5x5 hole in the ground, which was 2 blocks deep, and put dirt over the top of it. This was to be his home. Then, he dug a 1x3 block walkway, 2 blocks deep, and placed a block of dirt at the end. Then, he placed stairs over the dirt, to make a stairway to the surface. Lastly, he placed the wooden door in the frame he had made, thereby completing the exterior of the home. He stood back and marveled at this hut that he had made, and took pride in it.
