Well, I have decided to start another MineCraft fanfiction. For those of you who don't know, I'm actually NetherackCreeper with a new forum name, lntrepid. If you'd like to see my other fanfiction, Azazel, which is still being worked on, don't panic, here's a link : http://www.minecraft.../#entry16879150
So, this originated as a simple daydream, which I developed into a plot, and then I decided : Why not? It seems promising, and a little less dark and gloomy then Azazel. So kick back and enjoy!
Chapter One - Suspicions Arise
I knew something was wrong with Bianca. It was obvious, I mean, even though she managed to put up an acceptable facade at the Academy, but if you managed to get a glimpse of her at a certain time, you could find genuine fear on her face. If you questioned her, she panicked, said "Oh, it's nothing," and dashed off. Suspicious. Rumors began to surface and the next thing you knew, she was the thing everyone had to include in their conversations. You know, your everyday gossip that never hurts anyone until it roots too deep and you need a diamond pickaxe to dig it out. And she was heading that way, fast.
She already caught the attention of the academy bullies. She was cornered just the other day, and I had to step in and tell them off. When I turned to face her, she just blushed, said, "Thanks," and ran off. It left me confused and even more curious then before. Who is she really, and what is she hiding? My mind swam with questions, but I forced myself to wait. One way or another, I'll find out the truth.
When I left my dorm room today, I found a very nasty surprise. Apparently, someone managed to see me defending Bianca from the bullies, and now I'm a subject to these rumors as well. Why did I have to step in? I know I could've let Bianca just suffer and left my reputation alone, but seriously, the emotion on her face - it just pains me more then you could imagine. No, I definitely don't like Bianca, but still, what could cause that emotion? I was so absorbed in these facts I was overwhelmed by the mob outside my door.
"Nice way to stick up for the helpless girl!" one of them jeered, as he shoved me into the wall.
"You should be ashamed! She's gone off her rocker," another yelled in my face. I felt sudden rage for Notch knows what reason and slammed him into the mob and he tripped and fell. Murmurs broke out into yells of disbelief.
The screaming and yelling intensified until one of the professors came along. "Break it up, break it up!" he yelled. Never before was I so glad to hear those words. "Coming through, what happened here?" I opened my mouth to speak but one of the bullies from yesterday piped up faster then me.
"This kid shoved one of the guys into the ground!" he yelled with sudden gusto.
"But did this mob just suddenly appear afterwards? Tell me all the facts," he says as he pushes through the crowd, coming eye to eye with the bully.
"This kid bullied him, we all saw it!" A few murmurs said otherwise. The kid I slammed to the floor got up, dusted off his pants, and confirmed it. "He ain't a bully, just a moron. Stickin' up for a brain-dead girl." Then he gave me a dirty look and scampered off.
The professor grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him towards him. "As far as I know, there are no brain-dead girls, or people, for that matter, at this academy. Care to tell me the name of this girl?"
"Bianca Redstone," he muttered after a long pause.
"Excuse me?"
"Bianca Redstone!" he yelled.
The professor let go of the boy, who sprinted off, and spoke into a mechanism hooked onto his belt. Within seconds, a voice over the noteblock system popped out the words "Bianca Redstone, come down to the counselor's office." He then turned to me and said, "I don't believe you're in any of my classes, but I heard you had something to do with this. You go with her."
"What?"
"You heard me, now go!"
"Ermm... ok."
As I ran down the hall, I replayed the events in my head. It all went by too fast. Everything flashed by when I thought about anything having to do with Bianca. And no, I'm just suspicious about her, like I've said before. I rounded a corner and entered the first door on my right. Bianca and the counselor were waiting for me.
"I presume you are Cyrus Vizor?"
"That's me."
"Take a seat."
I saw Bianca looking at me with a quizzical expression on her face. "What?" I asked, and she looked away. I turned back to my seat, puzzled.
"Cyrus, do you know anything about Bianca's condition?"
"Not a thing. But she does act suspiciously." I noticed Bianca shot me dirty look right here.
