Hey guys, I made this story by getting ideas from stories like 100 Days To Mine and Notch City (WHICH I FOUND ON IMBA ENTERTAINMENTS MINECRAFT PRO APP). Please give me reconmendations on what to make next.
I stood their. Just waiting. My mind drifted to Tom. He's in there. Probably getting shoved by all the doctors. Eating all their so called "healing foods". Those healing foods do a lot to get here. First the miners dig out the gold. Then the farmers pick the apples. Then the so called "crafters" made the legendary golden apples, which is our kind of super healing food. Then they are shipped to hospitals all around the world.
I'm the one who digs all that crap up. Theres many ranks in mining. First is the Coal Miners, the one that collect all our fire power. Then comes Deep Miners. I'm one of them. We specifically search for Iron and Gold. And then there's the Expert Miners. They go in the deepest caves and search for Diamonds as a main priority.
The door suddenly opens. Tom out. He's crouched over like an old man. I run to his side. We walk to the station. Minecart stations. All across the world they are. They literally inter-connect the world. The main rails are then called "Inter-rails". I go on a small Minecart. That goes to a small town. It is known as Enzito after it's founder, Enzo.
Tom started talking about the city. It was huge, beautiful, and extremely powerful. I glanced out the glass tube to see the glimmering lights of Notchino, founded by the greatest person ever to live, Notch himself. He created order in our world.
There were many tribes in the world, including the ever powering Chino. One day a stranger joined their tribe. Notch. The plainest name there could be. He tutored them how to form culture. Soon the Chino had merged with other tribes, with their new religion, Notchism. But as everyone does. Notch despawned the exact day Enzo spawned and created the village of Enzito. Then the day Enzo despawned, I spawned. It's pretty cool.
As we left the gleaming lights of civilization, we went past the battlefield of Egra. The town of Egra was once here. But it was destroyed in a battle which took place over Notchism. Notch himself despawned in the battlefield. There is a great mounument of Notch there.
We then entered Enzito. It is not like Notchino, with all the lights and all. It's a like a tribal settlement. The only building that is like in Notchino is the Peacekeeping Building. That is where the town militia work, train and sleep.
Our world is completely Democratic. We are nearly self-working. Other than we have a leader. President Cane. A good leader. A bit gruffy, but he's a nice man on the inside. I've only seen him a few times, like at the United Global Congress last year. The government tells us all the international statistics. Well most of them.
We walked slowly to our house. It was nearly mid-night. We wasted all our emeralds on that healing at the hospital. Now we'll have to work overtime tomorrow.
I slump onto bed. I start shuddering my eyes. I'm tired. And scared. Tom nearly died in the mine. I try to think of something else. But I just can't. I think of grabbing one of my sticks and clobbering myself to sleep. That'd ruin my day tomorrow. I finally close my eyes. Tom... Why Tom...
CHAPTER 2: Morning Haul
I am woken by the sound of Toms moaning voice. I punch him in the face. It was no time to be joking around. I check the clock. We were going to miss the cart.
I grabbed Tom and ran up the stairs. I opened the attic. Not such a nice sight. Then I open the emergency hatch. I smirk at it. Good timing. I run out on the roof. Tom stayed in. He told me he wasn't doing it. Then I joked at him, it's either that or the sack. Then he popped up and came towards me. Then I shouted "GO!"
We jumped. I think I nearly fainted as I touched the next house. We kept racing. Jumping from house to house until we reached the track. We jumped with hope we would get it. Then suddenly we were swooped onto the cart. That was a close one.
We ran out of the cart. There was a stall nearby. We grabbed some bread and paid for it. At least the Minecart rides come free with our jobs, or we'd be bankrupt.
We run into the complex. We raced into the Mine Office. We were just in time. The officer grabbed two pickaxes for us. We walked into the shaft. The darkness lay below...
CHAPTER 3: Another World
I raised my pick. I hit the iron. Good pay, I thought. Good pay. Then Tom raced up and shouted that the shaft had be flooded with lava. It was heading our way.
I grabbed the iron and ran for the exit. The lava wasn't there yet. I grabbed my water bucket. Tom tripped. I raced to his side. I heard a slow hissing noise underneath us. Suddenly an explosion blew me off my feet. The ground collapsed underneath us. I felt the air pass by me. I closed my eyes and braced for impact. I suddenly felt a cold chill as I splashed into a body of water.
I smashed out of the water. Freaked out bad. It was bad. We were at the bottom of a shaft, with no backup. No ladders. Just Tom, me and of course the frigging monsters. They spawn everywhere in these caves.
We dragged ourselves to a cave wall. Then Tom recklessly grabbed his lunch. I grabbed it from him. We couldn't eat then. We didn't know how long we'd be down there.
I grabbed my emergency sword out of my bag. I started scanning for an upward tunnel. Suddenly I saw light. I thought it was Tom mucking around, but there was more light. I peaked around the corner to see a shelter. A shelter under the ground. Then I saw a uniformed man run out of it. He was holding a sword. He shouted into the cave, "I know you're here miner!". Then I ran out and grabbed him by the neck. He started to strangle me. I lost my grip and fell on the ground. He was about to stab me when I heard an arrow shot. It wasn't a skeleton.
The man fell on me. I grabbed his sword and stabbed his back. Tom was holding a bow. Aiming it at me. He lowered. We nearly freaked out. That was close. A man? Underground? He must work with someone. But we couldn't take on anyone more. I saw a chest. I took some ladders from it. He even had armor. But I could't take that.
We made it back up the shaft. There was a rescue crew there. They asked how we made it. We lied to them "We fell in a small underground spring. Nothing else down there". They took us up the shaft. I was badly injured. Hospital again?
CHAPTER 4: Not The Same Home
I walked out of the hospital to be greeted by Tom. We headed back to the cart station. I couldn't stop thinking. An underground civilization? That's nearly impossible. Tom opened his pack. He still had the mans bow and arrow. I smiled at him. Hunting tomorrow?
We walked into the minecarts. We zoomed down onto the main rail. Suddenly we diverted down onto another rail. I asked why are we going another way. The man was surprised. I must of been the only one that didn't know that it happened. Terrorist attack.
As we went over the river, I saw Notchs Pass, it was destroyed. I saw a rescue crew repairing. It could be impassable for many days. Then one man said very slowly "Look...". I looked to the Notch Monument of Egra, destroyed. Another attack? Or maybe someone else doesn't like Notch.
We entered Enzito once more. I started conversing with Tom about the attacks and what happened in the mine. We kept talking even after we got home. Could they of really been that evil? Could the man in the mine relate to this? Who lives under a city?
Then it clicked. Who does live under the most densely populated place in the world? He could been the terrorist. Or could he just of been one of the operatives.
We entered the house. I checked up on our weekly calendar. It was Saturday tomorrow. One of our days off. That means we could hang out. That also means we test out Toms new bow. I open my pack. The sword! Pure diamond! That'll be a good weapon against mobs.
The sunset. It's beautiful. It's also a clear warning. The monsters shall come and siege. Luckily Enzo prepared for these attacks decades ago. There is a wall system protecting the town. Tom and I sometimes do the community watch when we're not working.
I lay in bed. All my life I had took things for granted. But then I knew that Notchino will fall. The uprisings were just beginning.
CHAPTER 5: Return to the Caves
I woke once more. I grabbed my tools, my lunch and obviously Tom! He never wakes up on time. We headed downstairs and ate breakfast. Bread and Watermelons.
I opened the front door to see the town militia. They told us they needed us in the building. We walked through town. All the villagers stared at us like we were murderers, but technically we were.
As we entered the building we were greeted by the mayor, Julius. He asked us what happened in the cave. It was important for government reasons. We told him everything. From the lava spill to the man finding us. The only thing we left out was that we killed him.
He took us to his property, which had been Enzo's before his. We walked in the house. It was covered in paintings. There was also a mayoral wall, which obviously was only him and Enzo.
Then he led us downstairs, he had a storage cellar. At the end of the cellar was a door with a sign above clearly saying "AUTHORIZED ENTRY ONLY". Julius gave us a nod. We walked in. It was a dark cave. He told us, what we wanted was in there.
As we raced through the cave we eventually were lead to light. It was some sort of lava spillage. We looked up to see some ladders and torches. IT WAS WERE WE FELL!
We raced through the cave to see the dead mans shelter. I went back to his chest and grabbed the armor. I just knew I would have to wear it.
Inside the house was a tunnel. We raced through it until we came to a door. I slowly readied my sword and punched it open. There was a 3 men there. Shock was on their faces. I jumped on one and started using him as a shield against the others. Tom shot one other and the other just made it away.
We raced him until I got him in a lock. Then he mumbled, "You're the one... You killed Dan. You—". Tom shot him before he could finish his line. These were the terrorists obviously.
I just noticed that I could see light. Then we were hit by some guards. They made us gag down something. I tried to walk but I went unconscious.
