We all know that Minecraftia is a world full of inhospitable environments and creatures. But who would've guessed that it was once a world of Technological Advancement?
Before Steve:
The lands of Minecraftia consists of several nations, each with their own industry. All these nations have only one Capitol controlling them: Miner City.
The War:
It wasn't very long until the nations wanted their own freedom, so they rebelled against the Capitol. The Capitol army designed several weapons of mass destruction to fight the war.
Mutations:
One of the Capitol's weapons being an artificial virus known as The Herobrine Disease (THD for short). However, the THD did not work like the Capitol army had expected: when the viruses kills a human, some become zombies that attack and kill live people on sight, other becomes Skeletons that is slightly smarter than a Zombie, meaning they can use weapons.
The Herobrine Disease did not just cause human mutations, it also caused Spiders and Silverfishes to grow into huge size. The huge Spiders began feeding on human flesh, while the Silverfishes breed by laying eggs within building walls, causing them to crumble.
Herobrine, his origin:
one of the Victims of the Herobrine Disease - which is Steve's twin brother - did not become a Zombie or Skeleton. Instead, the virus has twisted his mind and turn him into who we know as Herobrine today.
Herobrine's creations:
With the power the Disease has given, Herobrine started creating more hostile mobs. By turning tree leaves into Creepers; pigs into Zombie Pigmen; cave moss into Slimes; and Deformed people into Endermen.
The Nether:
Desperate to contain the Herobrine Disease from themselves, the Capitol army built a portal and escaped through it as a last resort. The other side of the portal was a completely inhospitable realm called the Nether.
However, the army failed to close the portal before Herobrine and his army of Mutations came through it.
Nether Mobs and Soul Sand:
Herobrine then slaughtered the escapees. Then with his powers, he trapped the souls of the escapees in a material known as Soul Sand. The reason for the slowing effect of the Sand is because the souls of the Escapees are desperate to get out of their Soul Sand prison, and are trying to get help from passing by people.
Nether Fortresses:
With his army of Zombie Pigmen, Herobrine built fortresses in the Nether, with many towers and each towers can build smoke robots (Blazes) that attack any intruders.
The End and the Enderdragon:
Already having their homes destroyed, the citizens of each nation fled to one spot: a floating island in the outer space. What they didn't know is that one of the escaping citizen was carrying the Herobrine Disease. The Disease spread around this island, turning everyone into Endermen.
Herobrine's manifestation then created the Enderdragon. Herobrine lives as long as the Enderdragon lives,
one cannot exist without each other.
The Aether:
The Aether is the only realm that the Herobrine Disease failed to strike. The Valkyries, worrying that the epidemic may eventually strike, engineered several mobs for defense. The engineered mobs are: Zephyrs, Swets, Aechors, Frosts (Aether equivalent of Blaze) and Mimics.
However, an accident happen when the Frosts are built, so the mob was dumped into the void, and every blueprints for it destroyed...
Twilight Forest:
The Disease also struck the Twilight Forest, causing the inhabitants to become the undeads, and the local wildlife to mutate. The Disease also destroyed a particular plant that keeps the mist away, thus explains why the Forest is dark as nighttime even with the sun.
Steve and other survivors:
Steve is one of the minecraftians immune to the disease. While some works together to drive every trace of the Disease away from Minecraftia, some became selfish and cared for no other people's survival (griefers)
Testificates:
Testificates are completely immune to the Herobrine Disease, and they became the only sentient beings of Minecraftia other than humans. The Pigmen are destroyed by the Disease and became Zombie Pigmen.
However, a new breed of THD Viruses are strong enough to infect Testificates and turn them into Zombies.
