I will censor the "Bad" words for now, but this is the first book of 4. Introductions, Discovery, Peace, Sacrifice. I realize there is some grammatical errors in this yet, but you get the idea, so please no rage boners about errors D: Also, if anyone uses the "unofficial aid for minecraft players" app like i do i would like to submit this story to the app in the hopes it would make it to the stories section. But i have no idea how, or how to contact the developers. If anyone knows help is much appreciated but anyways, enjoy ~

In this square world, I've never known any other. I don't know how I got here, I don't know how I'll leave here. All I know is I have these two hands, and these two feet. And as that big sun sinks behind the ocean... I know what these gift where meant for. As I look to my right I see that big walled village slowly glowing brighter as the sky darkens. I rest my diamond shovel on my shoulder, I know what these gifts where given to me for.

I stand in the lookout tower watching that big sun sink in the ocean. I was born in this village, and as I see that man on the opposite side of the valley resting his shovel on his shoulder, I can't help but be overwhelmed with memories of him being by my side since I came to be. Always looking out for me, and getting me out of trouble when I sneaked out at night. I can't help but wonder, what goes on in his mind. He normally doesn't say much, just digs, builds, protects. With Dark brown hair and a goatee, and those shinning bright white eyes, he is like no one else. Always wearing a black suit with a black tie. Unless he works, then he takes of his jacket and rolls up the selves of his snow white button up. It's compatible to his eyes, and oddly enough no matter how dirty the work I've never seen his clothes with a spec of dirt on it.
Growing up in this world is hard for a boy; we are trained in the rules at this land from an early age. We are taught to scavenge, survive, and renew what we take from this land. It's a beautiful land, with our village is on top of a large valley, and the other side leads to the mine. To the south of us is a big ocean, and to the north are the snowy mountains. I haven't been past them, but Herobrine tells me of a vast desert on the other side.
Herobrine is the name given to him by the most eldest and experienced people of this land. But he has been known by many other names, the essence of hate, the king of darkness, and the devil. But he is none of these; I can see it in the way he looks at this village. The look of a man that would give his life too defend ours.

I put my shovel on my back, and unhook my diamond sword from my belt. There is only two in the village, and they were entrusted to me and the eldest member of this village. My greatest friend, Jesse. She is among the best fighters and survives in the village, and shares my undying love of our home. Too bad she couldn't join me in hunt tonight.
I check my bows tension, and secure it across my back. I had 5 arrows attached to the back of my belt, and with the moon rising it was time. I have been called many names, most of which being devil. And when I hunt the creatures of the night, I believe them.
Before long skeletons with bows and arrows appear in a cloud of smoke, zombie forms of past away people claw their way out of the ground, tall black men teleport around the land looking for blocks to carry, and giant spiders find their way out of hiding. I know the village is safe with its walls, but we need arrows, and some spider eyes for potions.
I climb a nearby tree, crouch on top of it letting my sword kiss my forearm, and swinging my arm around to my back, and cover my eyes with my free arm. I had to listen, or the skeletons would see my eyes and shoot me down. I heard a Skeleton right under me, and a spider next to it. I feared it would ride the spider; it's a rarity but the 2nd most formidable foe in this land never the less. The clouds over head that have moved in from the north bristled with humidity, and energy. I could feel it, getting ready to pounce.
And with a great flash a bolt of lightning struck the ground 5 blocks to my south east, and it was my turn. Landing without a sound between the spider and skeleton, I open my eyes and unleash my arm. The sword kisses the ground as it upper cuts into the skeletons head, slicing a gash across its jaw up to its eye, and as the light from the lighting fades I bring my sword down hard into the spiders head.
As the night returned I heard the skeletons head shatter, and then the rest of his bones gently fall down and fade to dust. The spider gave a twitch and fell motionless. I cut four big eyes from the spider, and got 2 arrows from the pile of dust. Up the hill a ways, I saw an outline of a lone figure. One I dared not challenge alone. I slipped back into the darkness and sprinted my way back to the village, sword on my belt, arms straight behind me as I leap 6 blocks at a time and make it to the top of the wall. I look over my shoulder and see the figure move back into the darkness. I didn't like that sign, but I was greeted by happy villagers offering milk and cooked pork for my work. I hopped down, giving the Mage his spider eyes on the way to the dining hall, basking in the many sweet odors coming from a long wooden table with all the villagers at it waiting patiently for the head of the table to take his place. I set down my weapons at the door, and an odd thing occurs. Could it have been, a smile on my face?

I saw the villagers all shoot their fists in the air as soon as they say him. He was much taller than me, and I appeared to be the only on in this world with long red hair. And for that I was always treated differently, like an outsider. So I punched danger in the face, and trained harder than anyone. Soon people just wanted me for my fighting skills, and I left.
I don't know how many days had passed, but I remember passing out in the snow after I left. I remember awaking in his arms. My first reaction was to scream, and draw my knife seeing those eyes, but I didn't have time. He slammed my face into his chest in defense, leaped back with such speed and force a violent gush of air roared past my face, and we spun so fast I couldn't see. I heard the bones of a skeleton shattering. And as I looked up is leg was lowering, and as soon as it hit the floor he took off running like a bullet. Feeling nauseous I passed out again.
I woke again, and was confused. Who was this man sitting across the fire staring at me so intently? And why was he so well dressed? Just who the hell did this guy think he was, just looking at him made me angry. But he stood up, clammy walked over and just hugged me.
I don't know what came over me, but I burst into tears, letting all my rage and pain explode out. He only whispered "I know what it's like to be out casted only because something is different. We were given these hands and feet, and you know what they are meant for like I do, don't you?". Ever since then I have always followed him without question, and soon his kindness got other people on our team. And more and more, soon we found the valley and made out home.
And tonight is special; I can see the pride in him as he walks down and looks at all the villagers. Tonight is the birth of our village, the day the first brick that was lain is under his chair. And the second brick is under my chair. Closest to his.

3 weeks from our celebration, I stood from the tallest place in our village. A great tower extending from my house, I had built it myself So that I could look at the village, and see all around it. I was leaning on the rail, watching the big sun sink into the ocean. I awaited Jesse, we had picked today to trim each other’s hair. And with impeccable timing as always, I hear a knock on the door. As we walked down to my living room I told her I had exciting news.
"Oh?"
I sat down on a chair and she got the sheers. "A scout has told me that to our west a castle has been built in the middle of the forest." She starts trimming my dark brown hair back to its normal short length, "Did they get a good look at it?" she absentmindedly asked. "Not exactly, night was falling. They said it was of very simplistic design. And most of the forest was gone". She stopped and looked at me, "Most of the forest? Was there not any saplings?". I sighed, "As far as he could tell, no. From the information I gather I think they're new here, and just starting out-" "No sh t" "- tomorrow I'd like you to go with me, if we are to have new people in this area it's only polite to let them know of us".
She took a few steps back, looking at her handy work and smiling with approval. "How far is it?" "About 400 blocks dead west".
I started on her hair. It was well down her back, but she only ever allowed an inch to be cut off at a time. "When shall we leave, and what should we bring?" she asked leaning back to look up at me. I gently pushed her head back down, "At dawn. Some food, basic gear, and only one sword. We're there for introductions, not more enemies to worry about"
I finished and she looked at her hair and gave me the thumbs up. "I will see you at dawn then" she said whist poking my goatee. She tilted her head, "Why do you keep such an atrocious thing on your face?" I grabbed her hand and put it at her side, "It is as I am, scruffy". She goggled at the thought, "Goodnight sir!" and with that she was gone. "Goodnight ma'am" I whispered to myself...
______________________________ Jesse
I was waiting at the gate for him, eating an apple and debating with myself if I should put my hair in a ponytail or not when he interrupted my thoughts, “HI!" I shouted at him. "Hello ma'am" he calmly said. He was in his best and blackest suit, with his sword cleverly hidden on his back behind the jacket. I felt a bit underdressed for I only had a black tank-top on with camo cargo pants and heavy boots. I put my fingerless gloves on and grabbed my walking stick. I handed one to him, "No thank you, I have no need for a walking stick" I just shrugged and put it back. And soon we were off on our journey.
It was mid-day when we arrived, and most of the Forrest was gone. There was a hastily put gravel path to the "castle's" entrance. About half way down the path a black skinny man in what I'd call rag clothing ran up to us.
"DA M sorty! And I do mean short!" she said looking at me. "You must be the shortest girl I have ever seen. And what's up with that long a red hair?” This man was clearly an idiot, or he must have been blind to not see the rage emulating from Herobrine. "I bet that's a good thing being that short, betcha it makes it easier to suck my d ck!"
As soon as that last word came out of him, Herobrine was behind him. He raised his hand above him, and before the man in rags could laugh, he brought his elbow down on the back of his neck. I felt the crushing blow just looking at it, and his body hit the ground and bounced twice further down the road.
Herobrine picked him up by his shirt, and brought him close to his face. "We come here in peace to meet your people as we have been here a long time and you appear new to us. And you insult my friend with your filth" he threw him on his feet "Now take us to the one in charge here before you open your mouth again and I break it". The man made a fist, looking like his pride had taken the most damage, looked at Herobrine, and ran like a p y.
"You know, I could have just punched him in the face myself". He looked back at me, "You're to slow sometimes" and walked after the man. "hmph!" I started to put my hair in a pony tail and thought to myself, 'he is the kindest man I've ever known. But sometimes he needs to learn to sugar coat things more so he doesn't **** off his friends'. Pulling my hair tight I jogged after him.
We walked into the clearing behind the front wall and that was that. A clearing with a dirt floor and a few people also in rag clothing running about and one stone pedestal in the middle. On top of that pedestal was another back man in rags. Much bigger, and buffer though. The first man we meet ran up to him, started talking, and then was slapped by the other man.
He walked down to meet us and said in a deep voice "Greetings new comers, I apologize for Sam's rude behavior. But I am Bruce; you could say I'm the man in charge here". Herobrine put his arm over his stomach and gave a small bow, feeling awkward I barely managed a small smile and a wave. Herobrine spoke, "And I apologize for being so violent. But I don't take insults to my friends so well". "What are your names my friends?" Bruce asked in his wickedly deep voice. "I am Jesse!" I said much too loud trying to make up for my awkward wave. "And I am called Herobrine". 'Out classed again' I thought 'Sometimes he makes me so angry'. Bruce nodded, "Where are you from?". Herobrine spoke again: "About 400 blocks east sir. My friend and I live in a village there, and we have been here for many years now. Is it safe to assume you're new here?".
"Yes, my people and I people found this lovely spot only a week ago." I couldn't stay quite any longer, "Why is half the forest gone?! Haven't you planted any saplings?" Herobrine looked disappointed at my outburst, but this conversation bored me. Bruce calmly replied "We need the wood, and we have not replanted simply because this forest doesn't concern me after we retrieve it's wood. We are here for one purpose, and that's it."
Before we could ask what purpose a tall black man carrying four big green orbs with what looked like eyes in them Asked Bruce where to put them. "In my room" he said, and the man rushed away. Herobrine asked "What where those?" Bruce smiled, "Our purpose. You see, scriptures from our ancestors tell us of an even greater portal than the one to the neather! And by killing those tall purple creatures of the night and collecting their pearls we can build it."
Herobrine took a step forward. "You mustn't! I came to be in this word in the start of the recovery from the first portal to the neather, it was a disaster, half the land battle scared and so many dead people that are now cursed to roam this land when night falls. Do you even know where this portal goes?" Bruce looked agitated "No, only that it is powerful, do you know where it leads too?" Herobrine rubbed his forehead a bit in stress "No I do not. But if it is more powerful than a neather portal... Well I must voice my disapproval of your purpose! I can't imagine the horrors the elders went through with the neather, and I don't want to imagine what this could do"
Herobrine sounded desperate, but Bruce looked offended. He took three steps forward forcing Herobrine to back up one. "You come to my home, make my people look like dirt with your fancy clothing, and dare to tell me to spit in my ancestors face? I believe you have overstayed your welcome Mr.Herobrine, I'm going to have to ask you to leave". I was too confused to add anything to this; I knew nothing of what they talked about. Herobrine's head went down in defeat, and he grabbed my hand, thanked Bruce for the meeting, and lead me out of the castle and back home. The whole trip he said nothing, and as soon as we got back he went to his house. Leaving me with the curious villagers, sometimes that man just pisses me off. What am I supposed to say?
