Today I woke up to find numerous villagers wandering my land. There was a village a little while a way, but out here was a bit more than they usually walk off. They had no reason to be here. Yet, I accepted them.
As a first act of getting to know them, I asked about their trade offers. They were all selling things. One offered me chainmail armor for a couple of emeralds. Another would give me three pieces of bread if I offered up an emerald. One of them would give me three redstone for one unit of his currency. This was a rather pathetic trade, so I turned to another villager. He was not selling, but instead buying coal. 21 coal pieces for of the green gems. This trade I could fulfill. But I lacked this amount. So, I went over to my little mining hole and started to dig and mine my way down.
I mined, and I mined. Lots of cobblestone was piling in my inventory. But finally, I came across the vein of coal I was searching for- bingo! There was more than plenty coal in here, raising my total of 11 to about 30. I looked up at the sky, and saw the sun, right in the middle. It was midday. Though I wasn't in any hurry, I decided now was a fine time to stop mining and trade the coal for the emerald. I climbed the ladder and stepped on grass once again, hurrying over to my villager friend. I gave him the coal, and he gave me the emerald. I thanked him and went into my house to put the accumulated cobblestone into my furnace so I could begin a new project. I watched it burn and harden once again.
I felt my stomach rumbling and I looked through my chest for some food. Unfortunately, I had none. Searching through the chest, however, I found some strings and sticks, so I crafted a fishing rod. Night was beginning to fall, but I needed to eat, or else I wouldn't live to see another day. I headed to the nearby lake and threw the pole in the water. I had to catch some fish. But in the distance, I saw a green creature... the creeper.
Mobs could be anywhere. I was cautious about a zombie sneaking up on me, or a creeper exploding behind my back. Every now and then I turned around. There was a tug on my rod, and I pulled a fish in. I turned around again. I caught two more fish, but then... I felt as if there was a presence behind me. I turned around, and staring at me was a pink animal.
It was quite scary, but then I realized it was just a pig. Just a pig... just a pig. But I had enough. I was too frightened to continue my trek for food. I turned around and heading back to my home. But... where were the villagers? I could see none... they weren't killed, were they?
I walked into my home, and found six, healthy, yet frightened villagers. I joined them, just as scared as they were. We stood. They huddled together in fear. We heard noises. A spider. I looked out from my patio door... a creeper... and was that a skeleton? Zombies couldn't be far off. I had to defend my friends. I crafted a stone sword, then ran out.
I went on a slaying. Spider! Creeper! Skeleton! I killed them all. I wouldn't let my friends get killed. I narrowly escaped a creeper's explosion. At least, I thought I did. I was killed, and then a perfect clone came to finish off the creeper. I collected my items, but my emerald was missing... then I found it. I picked it up, and it disintegrated into tiny green pieces. The explosion totaled the emerald. Lightning began to strike, and ran poured down.
Then I heard a knocking... at my house! I forgot about the zombies who would come to my home! I ran to find zombies attacking my door. I swung my sword at the two zombies, killing one, but not before one of them busted down the door. My quick hand rushed towards the zombie, impaling him with my sword, his rotten flesh falling out of his body. But I saw a horror... zombies in my home! Four of the original six villagers were huddled in the corner, two big nosed zombies and one cube headed zombie attacking the poor guys. Sadly, my attacks meant nothing. The zombie plague spread and my friends had joined the ranks of the undead. They spotted me and began to run towards me. I tried hitting them with my sword, but it was no use. Attacking one gave room for another to attack. So I ran.
But I couldn't leave my house. I spent my time working on it and I wouldn't let it go to waste, as a base for the green fleshy terrors. I quickly spun around and slammed my stone sword at them. Suddenly, I heard the sound of breaking rock. In my hand was wooden hilt, and a broken blade in the grass. I rummaged through my inventory and pulled out a stack of dirt. I hit the zombies with it, hoping to damage them. Thunder boomed, and I noticed a creeper. He would be used to my aid. I got closer to the creeper, and the zombies followed. The creeper noticed my presence and began his suicidal attack. I ran at the last second and the creeper fumed, his body exploding. The zombies all felt a surge of pain, killing two. This left five. I threw all I had at them. My pickaxe, my shovel, my hoe. Two zombies left. I slit one of their throats. But then I saw him.
It was the coal buyer. The one who gave me my first emerald. But he was trying to kill me. He had no care for coal anymore, or money. Nothing. One thought on his mind: kill. In order to save myself from death, I had to kill him. But I couldn't. Instead, I ran. Ran into the distance. The coal zombie stopped chasing me.
The rain stopped as I came across the local village. I come here sometimes for trading. When I first approached the village, I couldn't see anybody. Had they been infected too? Then I discovered a farmer walking around his crops. I was relieved. I explored the village, searching. Everybody seemed fine, like there was nothing bad happening. They knew of no apocalypse to the south, of their friends' lives lost. But then I noticed a creeper. He was just standing there. The villagers walked by him like he wasn't there. And then I saw it. A zombie. Standing by the library. It would start. The infections would soon begin.
I went back to my home and saw the coal man in the field, a zombie still. I did not bother him. Instead, I retreated back into my home, to hide... to wait.
Throw a splash potion of weakness at a zombie villager. Then feed it a golden apple (tier 1) and it will be healed. I think you should cage this last villager until you can cure him.

This was a brand new survival world- I hadn't even found iron at the time I wrote all this!
Not bad, not bad... But... I'm gonna be honest, It's a good story, I like the idea. But still... Room for improvement (Forgive me for being picky, I think there is always room for improvement, so yeah.)
Lets start with the first thing I found... It felt like it had no flow, like I had push myself to read it.
Perhaps my last little bit of advice would be to use more description in general.
All in all, a nice story, but can be so much better. Keep writing. Keep going. I'm waiting for your next one

Thanks for the advice.
This was my first time I wrote a Minecraft story, so there's always room for improvement on the first time, right?
