Another chapter to Part 4: Mutually Sleep-Deprived, has been uploaded! In this chapter, we encounter a new perspective. I have also discovered hyphens.
Edit: Coincidentally, I have been sleeping lightly the past few days. Possible influence?
I don't have an idea why I haven't read this before. I have only reached PART 1: Chapter 9, and your story does not disappoint. I rather like the "not-too-long" chapters. Plus, I do love books with minds of their owns and dream like references. Will keep reading. Thumbs up. By the way, you should put up a poll, I'm sure many people will vote above 9/10.

I am very glad that it does not disappoint!
Also, interesting idea about the poll. I might just do that.
The newest chapter to Part 4: A Common Problem, has just been uploaded! I think I'm starting to get a better idea of where the plot is going with this, but writing this chapter was difficult for some reason.
I see the fallen guard at my feet, laying limp upon the dried grass. What if he wasn’t actually dead?
Heheh. I love showing quotes that only make sense in context. It's just like soundbiting, except without any political motivation.

Now this has to be the one story I was looking forward to seeing after several months of absence from the Literature subsection just as much as Immortus's Lord of Shadows: Shadow of Skiamance. I have so much to catch up on! I see you got yourself a nice banner. Like I told Immortus, it's admirable that you've had the tenacity to keep writing for this long on one story. Good work!
Feel free to leave your comments. Or criticisms, I suppose, if they're constructive. Almost anything really, unless it's an outright threat. In that case I'd prefer you put it in a private message.

Wow, thank you! That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. <3 And yea, Immortus' writing is something I look forward to reading as well.
I think the book is getting a lot stronger. I mean, all this time he's been trying to resist it but now he's agreeing with it... Woah, I bet he'll try to kill Dan later. That's an estimated guess.
Things are definitely not looking up for Fristad. Exactly how Dan will be involved is definitely an important question. I think I can understand why you'd think Fristad would want to kill Dan. Your prediction might be spot on, or it might be totally wrong. The fact that you said "woah" suggests you might have had a sudden realization.
Meh, stuff that I've forgotten. Just have vague recollections of them. Not that it matters - I'd probably massacre them. Not like you. This story is extremely original.
*Pictures me surfing the internet...* Oh look! A book that communicates to... wait a second... this is copied from Asane's story!
*Looks at date posted* O_o it was posted... in... 2009... as a review... for a movie... released in... 2008...

Well, it goes to show just how fragile originality can be.
The final second to last chapter to Part 4, Chapter 33: Qualia, has just been released. As the name may suggest, it is an unusual chapter. :3 It was yet another one that took a while to write; hopefully I got the ideas across sufficiently. Then again, I don't want the ideas to come across too easily. I am contradictory. This sentence is random.
Also, I present an interesting milestone: the text file for this story is now over 100 pages long when viewed in Microsoft Word! W00t!!
Okay, Nobody's on Trial Here is the final chapter to Part 4. For real this time. I just thought it would tie everything together nicely for this chapter to be included. It barely fits.
Quote from Fristad »
Hey Dan, how is it that you have so many books?
I am not even sure if I know the answer to that question. Seriously, they are everywhere. XD

Curse PremiumTurns out that eggs are expensive, both irl and in Minecraftia. And with good reason.
Edit: That actually might not be true irl any more.

Amazing.
I used to have ideas like this...
