After showing the villagers his skills in combat, The Yogscast approached him one day. To him they said,
“We would like you to join our adventure team.”
Steve was truly honored, and now he would really be part of the village. He was accepted as a member in good standing, and there were no hard feelings between him and Knight Peculiar. They had seemed to let bygones be bygones.
The Team had been hired by a group of miners to explore a cave, upon which they had accidentally stumbled. Knowing the dangers and treasure that surely lay ahead, the team accepted and traveled deep into the mines. Steve shuddered at the thought, but went anyway. The Brinaries would still be angry, he was sure, and his last encounter with Herobrine frightened him of the dark.
Still, they adventured. There had been talk of lava at the bottom of the cave. Lava, a very rare, red-hot substance could be collected and used as a defense from monsters, or to use in a furnace. There was also a legend that if a doorway was made of lava and water, the humans could enter the Nether realm, and collect special attribute-enhancing items. This in itself, although it was just a legend, was enough to make the Yogscast adventure into the caves.
As they explored deeper, they battled monsters and went deep down into the bowels of the Earth. Eventually, a bright light could be seen ahead. The adventurers went towards it, and discovered it to be lava. They were overjoyed at their findings, and danced about. Steve even temporarily lost his fear of the dark.
Nevertheless, one of them got to close to the lava, and fell in. Strongman Bruno toppled over into the boiling pool, and quickly turned to ash. He screamed in the fire, and could be seen slowly sinking away, until nothing was left. This put a note of despair on the party, even though Bruno would simply respawn in his house, carried by the Ones and Zeroes. The other adventurers quickly gathered the lava in their buckets and headed up.
Upon reaching the surface carrying their treasure, the miners were happy to see the cave was worth the effort, and continued to mine into it. The team went to comfort Bruno, and to see what would happen when the lava was mixed with the water. They hoped a doorway would be created.
Steve was the first to reach the outlying ocean, and poured in a bucket of lava. The water and lava mixed, and turned to a solid black rock, which Simon named Obsidian. Steve was afraid for a moment, because the material looked just like the face of the Enderman, but his fear turned to anger when he realized it was not a doorway, but just another block.
But then a vision came to his mind, almost as if it were sent by Notch himself. He saw an actual doorway made of the obsidian, which was then set on fire to create a swirling purple portal. He told this to the team, and they tried to mine the obsidian, but to no avail. It was much harder than anything they had encountered before. Finally, Steve tried to mine the stone with his Diamond pickaxe and was surprised to find he could mine it. His pride in diamonds grew, and he distributed extra picks to everyone as they poured more lava into the ocean.
They mined and mined, and eventually constructed a doorway like the one Steve had seen in his vision. They used a flint and steel to light it, and to everyone’s relief, it turned into a portal. They gathered their food and weapons, and traveled into Herobrine’s realm.
A little bit away, an Enderman watched the Yogscast team go through the portal. He smiled to himself, and chuckled. The man was doing exactly as the elder said he would do. The Prophecy was falling into place. The Enderman turned around, and walked slowly into the forest, fading as he went. The End was near.I finally added paragraphs!
Dude, you should just stick to one thread for your story. I suggest you find all your other threads and put it in here, give it the same attention to detail you have given this chapter and there you have it. If you're going to make a new thread each chapter without linking to the other chapters, it will confuse your readers.
