I might might might be going... it depends on how much I've saved up. Y'see, me being in England (weather's terrible ) I would need to buy tickets to America and to Minecon, plus I'd need an adult with me. Shame it won't be near Chicago. I'm going there in the summer for 2 weeks. Oh the irony.
P.s What might have been really cool was if all of the Minefic people were going, and got to meet others Minefic people. We could have had a Minefic-a-gon meeting. Lol.
Minecon takes place a few weeks after my birthday every year, so I don't need to worry about the money for the Minecon tickets. And since I live close, my parents can just drive me over. If it's in New York, then I can also visit tons of family. I also have family in Florida, so it still works out either way. My parents almost can't say no, especially since I'm paying for my own ticket. See ya at Minecon 2013!
YES! Me and my bro are planning on going. We live right in-between the two most likely locations. Hope to see you there
P.S. I hope Sethbling goes. He's my minecraftian idol and I've always wanted to meet him.
P.S.S. His real name is Drew DeVault according to his website.
P.S.S.S. The Minecon cape better be good this year D:<
That's a lot of P.S.'s...
P.S: P.S.'s is proper grammar.
P.S.S: It took me a few minutes to spell grammar right.
P.S.S.S: It took me a few minutes to type the above line.
P.S.S.S.S: P.S.'s are extremely overrated and nobody knows what P.S. even means.
P.S.S.S.S.S: That's not true, people do know what it means, but they're still overrated.

That would have been cool. The problems are that I'm not enough of a fan of minecraft anymore to go to minecon, I'm not a people person(meaning I can't carry a conversation), and my parents would make me pay with the money that I don't have to pay for it before I could go.
Chapter 11 (Winning On A Double Sided Mirror) is out! Click my banner!
That awkward moment when you don't even realize there's another story even though you've been reading about how the author's been posting chapter after chapter on the forums and then you're like "..."
Well, I just thought of the name, OnceInALongTime, because there was the phrase in my test at school that said, "Once In A Blue Moon," which means "Once In A Long Time." Though, my real name means light giver or light bringer. Though, I'm still weird! Hehehe!
Haha, aren't we all weird in our own special little way?
Morty! Hah! Take that Immortus, you could be morty! (not that it's a good nickname, but that it's one at all)
EDIT: Forgot to respond to one quote. How... something... of me.
EDIT2: Forgot another thing:
Just in case you wanted to know, I adopted speaking in a British accent, though I'm still working on it, so just so it makes it more... I don't even know. But yeah, there you go.
Nope, sorry. Kind of wish I was though in case I could meet you or other minefic-ers there.

I don't think I'll be going to Minecon. Like Immortus, I'll have to buy tickets to America and Minecon. That and a plane from where I live to America is 17 hours. Almost on the other side-ish of the world. I've only been to America once, Christmas 2011, LA. It was a fun month for me! Me sad I cannot go. My parents, however, will just think it is stupid and ask me why I want to go. So, no.

Heh, don't feel too bad, I live only a few hours away from Chicago. So you'll at least be closer to me. [/creepysmile]

Hey, I live in the US and I still won't be able to go. My parents have airplane paranoia. (Dang terrorists, doing their psychological work on the weak-minded...)
Its more worst for me.I LIVE IN AUSTRALIA.Which sucks. They should host it in Australia...
Hardly any Australian went to Minecon.
But I am getting a ticket (Maybe)But probably won't get a ticket BECAUSE...Camp starts at September and thats when Minecon tickets go on sale...
No cape for me (Maybe getting a cape 60% I might get it.)
I'm a fan of Minecraft from a literary point of view. I like the setting it can provide and stuff. I'm not that much of a fan to go to Minecon, though.
It's also hard to get there, being from the Philippines and my parents wouldn't really be enthustiastic about spending time and cash (a dollar is 40 pesos here) for a game convention when I can just go to a server and have a convention there.
But to those who will go to Minecon, I wish you all a good time. To those that won't, well this is the Literature section so you could either read or write.
In the news of writing, Chapter Four moved from today to "meh."
I've drawn a frickin map for my story, considering it's already a year for my concept of the Server to develop. Apart from the story, I have the history planned out, places given names, other factions and such fighting their own causes.
As for the plot of Age of Anger, I'm winging it. I know pretty soon I'll probably back myself up in a corner with no way to go (plot-wise).
Luckily, I'm probably a bit loose on the head. Plots and reason are an option for me.

Oh cool! I didn't know you lived there too. Who are your parents voting for? Hehehe. Weather. Is. Unbearable. Too. Hot. Though, in America, it's so ------- cold! I wing my stories too. Get suggestions, ideas, new characters, and I try to make it fit in one shot.Who's nickname and why?
I was in Los Angeles, California. At Christmas time, Year 2011. I was nine y/o then. Living in the Philippines with super hot, thick air and sun sun sun, though it's been raining... It's like an zircon blasted to 1000 or something.
Wow, you've accepted around 70 stories! Got bored, lost count a bit, I think 76. I have nothing important to do, my body clock sets itself to wake up at 10 and sleep at 3. It's like jet lag without traveling anywhere out of the country in a, while. So, I counted stories instead of sheep. If you think of sheep, I think of itchy sweaters. Then cold. Then I think of rings of fire. Then itchy sweaters jumping through rings of fire. It gets weird from then.
Really? When I was in Chicago last year it was very, very, very warm. Like... hot. So hot. Though I suppose it depends what bit of america you go to. If you want cold weather, come to Britain. In northern Britain, Yorkshire area, it snowed last week, no joke. In may. Ouch.
Lossos? That has quite a cool ring to it actually. And after the sequel the initials will change to LoSBoS, because of the second book. Bet you won't guess what it'll be called...

Cali is actually a pretty warm place. Up here in Wisconsin, we like to say that it's possible to be sunburnt and frostbitten within the same week. (This has indeed held true. In the last few weeks our temperature has been between 20 and 80 degrees!)
I write out my plots. It takes a while, but it helps in long run. Mindmaps and stuff are quite nice ways of developing plots.
I kinda do some background roadmaps. Instead of the actual story, I make "resources" for them, in a way that I fix up the aspects of the world I am writing in and fling it at the story, see how it mixes.

It's hot, yeah. I dunno, I don't really go into them elections and their posters. I've seen like, hundreds of posters. Literally I've seen them almost everywhere. They look kinda alike, all smiley and such.

I like archiving good stories and stuff. My team's supposed to screen through them first, but I guess they're following the Real Life Comes First policy I've put up.

@dragontyron: Even in Christmas? It was very cold, jackets and sweaters and stuff. It WAS very cold. I have an aunt who lives there, maybe it feels like that most of the time. The sun is still really hot, but it's the wind that makes it cold. Especially at night.
