Herobrine
I was digging around, as usual. I was searching for the rarest of materials. Diamond. You see, I had planned to go to the Nether. As I dug around, I came into an unexplored cave that had Torches in it already. I panicked a little. Eh, maybe I explored this place earlier and just forgot.. I thought. I continued digging. The cavern was well-lit on the off-chance I changed my difficulty from Peaceful to Easy or Normal. I was on Peaceful because I was building an automated Sugar Cane farm with Pistons and Redstone, but forgot to change it back to Normal. As I dug, I heard footsteps. I turned around in a slight panic, but saw nothing. I looked at my difficulty, it definately said Peaceful. I reasoned it could only be one thing... A Chicken. Lame. I continued digging.
Eventually, I broke into a Cave. I heard the footsteps getting louder and louder. I looked again, there was definately nothing there. I looked around. Lava casted a dreary glow of the Stone. Then, I saw the thing I had searched for. Diamonds! Yes! I thought, and ran to them. Before I could mine them, I heard a disticntive sound. "Ooh!" I spun around to see the source of the pain sound since I had not taken any damage. Then I saw it.
Herobrine.
I ran away, but Herobrine chased me. This continued until I fell into the Lava. I burned and died. Since I was playing on Hardcore mode, I had to delete the World. I closed Minecraft, not sure what to think. I decided to get my mind off that and played Dead Space.

I have found several contradictions in your story. You can't change settings in Hardcore mode. And also, Stone is not a proper noun, I heard a distictive <- (distictive? or distinctive?) found <-(sound, not found.) Lava is not a proper noun either.
PLaying Dead Space after being scared shitless because of Herobrine? Dat iz ballz. Happy Halloween :biggrin.gif:
Dead Space doesn't really freak me out, but it does have good scares. I'm not scared by DS too much because I've seen the HL2 DLC Nightmare House 2 and the flash game The House 2.

Sorry, but that was one of the worst creepypastas I have ever read. The length of each event is too short, that you can't even appreciate the 'suspense' that you are trying to build. Are you even trying to build suspense? And you need to really come up with something original. How many times have people heard 'When I was mining, Herobrine killed me when I found diamonds'. Worst. Plot. Ever. Please come up with something new, as I need my creepypasta fix.... :S
