However, remaining humans wanted to get away from all the conflict with their precious minerals. So they entered the portal, being chased by a Ghast. Since nothing worked right in there, they were mutated into the Endermen. The Ghast that chased them mutated into the dragon.
You, my friend, are a genius. How long did it take you to do that?? :huh.gif:
It's awesome! I would certainly buy your book if you did one! Hey... you should! :smile.gif:
Hope you the best,
An amazed Minecraftian,

Wow, thanks! I did that in 30 minutes only, didn't think so much people would like it.
And yeah I am writing a book, not about Minecraft though.
But, I'm currently making an adventure map based on this story right now. Would be easier if the human mob still existed, but I'll retexture villagers instead.
Thanks a lot for the praise!
Edit: my story is in your sig... that means a lot to me!
The Nether, being full of mushrooms, infected the places with randomly generated portals (not pigmen created ones, just the portals being opened around the world during the invasion). Yes, that means every mushroom biome used to be an invasion point with a portal. Animals (cows) who wandered there were infected by the fungi too.
I liked it but I thought it was kinda basic. I think you could have came up with better ideas than "Pigmen were just interested in scientific advancement"

Read the whole thing. There's the creepers making them open the Nether and the invasion and everythin else.
Plus, all other stories are just variations of either "Magic kingdom with zombie plague", "Notch is god and gives you challenges" or "Endermen came in and destroyed stuff" (the latter coming from people that play post-1.8 only).
very nice!
but dont forget that if lightning strikes a pig it becomes a zombie pigman, and not being attacked by creepers or anything else, besides dumb little humans. :biggrin.gif:

Well huh, I guess I need to add something to the OP. Thank you for saying that!
They become zombie pigmen because the lightning activates genes that had split pigmen into humans and pigs, transforming it into a pigman again. The reason it's zombie is because the transformation back is not perfect and so they don't become "full", rather they become similar to undead.
I think that strongholds were probably created by the enderman who are controlled by the evil enderdragon and are trying to study the minecraft earth so they can take it over. (the enderman probably purposefully infested the stronghold too due to the silverfish mob spawner, so they can protect it)

There's no silverfish spawner
On topic, as I said before I don't like the focus the endermen are getting, so I focused more on the Nether to have a more... unique story. Maybe because I'm an indev player and loved the Nether in alpha.
What's your opinion on my story? You just posted yours (which is good too, by the way).
Creepers drop records because, since they're an intelligent species and have a civilization of sorts, they like things like that as well. They only drop those when killed by skeletons because unlike a sword an arrow wouldn't break the disc. Player arrows don't do that because they have more strenght, a strenght skellies don't have since they're bones.
So long, long ago there were humans. They decided to dig down for some minerals, but that is something that they shouldn't have done. Something* happened. Their mining friends, the Creepers turned against them. Some miners turned into zombies, some into skeletons. You are the only one left.
So I can't fit much other things in to this story so...
The villagers are intergalactic gorillas.
Feel free to add to this story
It's on the "End" section:

Thanks! I actually am writing.
Adventure map is 25% done now. Unforunaly I'll only be able to complete it when Single Player Commands updates.
Oh awesome! Tell me when you get a server, I'm sure I'd make a pigmen skin and be a part of it!
I can't believe it. I never took part in a machinima, and now I created a story for one...

There is a silverfish spawner outside the enderportal in 1.9.4+
