This story is about young Joshua, age 14, who is thrown in a world unknown to him. He faces challenges unlike anything he's ever seen before. Follow Josh on his crazed journey through this "new world" and all of the terrible things he'll be Getting himself into and all of the people he'll meet along the way. Chapter 1: The new, old world
Today wasn’t just another day, today was the day that my life was going to change, forever. I woke up and did my normal every day routine, Brush my teeth; take a shower, then throw on some clothes. Sorry you don’t know who I am I’m Joshua, josh for short, 14 years old and not the strongest, tallest, handsomest person in the world but I’m getting there. Short dark hair and hazel eyes.
I went to my bus stop like every morning but it was going to be the worst bus ride of my life. I got their and my best friend was at the bus stop waiting for me anxiously.
“What’s up dude? what’s your deal??” “Don’t worry you’ll see.” Then he had this creepy grin on his face, I just shook it off as nothing. The bus came, bus #21, 10 minutes late as usual. Our bus looked like a bus from the 60’s and the bus driver look like he' on crack every day. I thought we would get into a car crash, but luckily we never did.
Jim and I sat opposite from the escape exit, I always take precautions when it comes to this bus. Jim still had his creepy grin on his face and I was ready to slap him upside the head. The bus started heading onto the highway just then the bus starting making this loud scratching noise. I just closed my eyes and waited till we got to school.
The next thing I knew I was upside down on the bus, I had bruises up and down my body and a few minor cuts. I took a look at Jim he seemed fine too. Then it happened again the bus flipped again this time there were shades of glass everywhere kids crying and some dead.
I tried crawling to the escape exit, in and out of consciousness. I was almost there but with my luck we got struck again and it ended with a flash and a bang.
Chapter 2: The Note
I woke up in this strange, new land, incredibly warm weather not like the weather we had back in Wisconsin. There was a big lake with sand and a lot trees, more than I can count.
Then it hit me, where am I? How did I get here?! Where’s Jim?! I grew nervous. How do I get out of here?
I didn’t remember anything of what just happened.
I scurried up to look at my surroundings; it looks like a wonderful new land. I was wearing the same clothes but my backpack was gone. “Agh”! I scram, I looked down at my ankle; it looked like I sprained it. I could barely walk on it. I was worried this couldn’t be a dream it was too real and I felt pain, a lot of pain.
I knew I was going to be at this place for a while. I could possibly be dead but I was more worried about finding some shelter. I didn’t know who or what was going to be out there. I was limping around getting some wood and some dirt to make a decent house to get me through the rest of the day and night. I watched a lot of survival shows so I kind of knew what I was doing.
I grew even more worried what had happened to Jim, is he ok? Is this what he was grinning about? Is he alive or dead? What…am I?
I stayed by where I had awaked just to be safe and look out for a rescue team. Will there even be a rescue team? Will they know where I am? All these questions were going in my head.
It was nearly sun set and I saw a faint light I followed it to the source, it was a little house made of what looked to be stone? I walked up to it hoping to find people, anybody. There was a sign on the door it read “come in Joshua’’.
That was a little odd but I didn’t hesitate and walked in.
The house had a bed a chest and a BOOK. I read it carefully it read “hello you have made it to my land I have created I have seen that u made yourself a house”.
How did it know that I Just did that! I kept reading “but your house will be no match to what is in my land. There are spiders, zombie, skeletons that will shoot arrows at you and these things called creepers will blow up if you get to close or you don’t kill it. You must find your reason for being here you have great potential. Find your destiny I gave you some basic materials 8 wooden planks 5 iron 6 torches and 2 sticks and a sack to carry your stuff in I will no longer be in your help, it is up to you now josh, fulfill your destiny now get some rest you will need it.-John.”
This is a lot to carry in I’m just a 14 year old kid! Im not a survivor. And who’s John? I went to bed thinking about what mysteries tomorrow will bring.
Chapter 3: the visitor
I woke up to a banging on the door it startled me and I feel right off the bed thud thud thud! I scurried to the door and fell right back down Agh!
My ankle was still hurting, possibly broken, I look through the window and nobody was there. That was odd I thought to myself. Then another thud thud thud. I swung the door open and there I saw a little pig “oink oink’. "A pig! awesome I'm going to name you Pork chop"! I then realized how hungry I was.” Oink”. It was hard for me to think with him. He was so innocent looking so I decided I would hold off eating for now.
I was finally starting to adjust to this new land. It was scorching hot today.. I remembered what John said I need to watch out for the creatures, with that I limped towards the house and made myself a sword with the wood he left me, and a leg cast thing to make it easier for me to walk.
I found one of the spiders john was talking about it took me for a surprise took a bite at me but missed I beat it to death and it dropped some rope! I then thought of how hungry I was and made a fishing pole I caught three fish but didn’t know how to cook it.
I then attempted to make a pickaxe it was poorly made but I got some cobblestone some more iron and coal to keep me warm at nights.
I cooked the fish and it tasted like the best food I ever ate! I had no idea what time it was but it looked midday. I was relaxing under a tree outside and I heard a faint yelling, it got louder and louder and I quickly looked up to see a rigid mid-age man running towards me I got up and drew my sword expecting the worst.
He then began walking. He was close enough for me to hear him. He kept saying it over and over. “It’s over, all is lost all, is lost, its all over, all is lost. The 21! The 21”! “Hello? Sir what is your name”? He said nothing just kept walking then went back into a jog and ran away. I couldn’t run after him because of my ankle.
Tomorrow in the morning I’m setting off where that man came from. Something is definitely off about what just happened and I’m going to find out what.
Chapter 4: The Journey
I woke up just a little before sunrise I walked outside and saw the skeletons John was talking about I ran inside, shut the door and packed up for my journey I don’t think it’ll be coming back when the sun was high in the sky. I went off on my journey, me and my pig.
Then thoughts of Jim came flooding in. I was beginning to think I‘m never going to see him again, or my family.
All of a sudden my pig began to squeal louder than ever. I quickly looked around and saw a big green thing coming my way I remembered what john said. “Creeper”! I yelled come on pig! I ran as fast as I could then there was an explosion that threw me off balance hurting my ankle.
It was finally beginning to heal. I turned back and noticed my pig was on the ground squealing his back legs where severely injured. He was my companion and my only friend. I carried him on my way he started to quite down he was bleeding badly.
I rapped him up with my hat I made for myself to comfort him in the easiest way possible, I knew he wasn’t going to make it.
He died a little while after. I buried him and made a tombstone. Then I kept going on my journey, where ever that might be. It was getting dark and I was getting worried I might get killed by the creepers of the night. I started seeing a light I started running towards it. There were loud noises that were incredibly loud, like a mob of people.
I finally came across a castle that was in amuck walls were crumbling down, fires all over the place. I need to help these people I just don’t know how to do it yet…..
Chapter 5: The girl
When I got to the castle the first thing I noticed was the solid gold gates, they were at least 10 feet tall. As I slowly opened them the whole place was running amuck. This civilization is in chaos!
In the village people are running, screaming, creepy people covered the streets.
I took out my poorly made sword just in case I get ambushed out here. As I looked around more there were fires in most of the houses and stores. I ran through the place looking for a castle maybe the king can tell me what’s going on.
I Found the Castle it was in the center of this place. It still looked magnificent even with the disasters happening all around it. I started running towards the castle then fell over my own 2 feet, right on my ankle again, perfect.
Then 4 Bulky men started walking towards me. They all had rugged old clothes and weapons, I’m easily out numbered. I’m still on the ground struggling to get to my feet when one of them comes charging at me. He swings at me and smashes a glass bottle over my head; he goes to swing again but is knocked down by someone swinging on a rope. As I’m watching this person kick these guys butts I start to fade in and out of consciousness.
When I wake up I’m in what I think is a doctor’s office, I try to get up but I’m too dizzy to walk, then I look at my arm and see that it’s chained to the bed! Woo I’m being held prisoner.
I sit there waiting for someone to tell me what’s going on. After a couple of minutes someone shows up. “Finally” I thought to myself. “Oh you’re awake” the woman said. She ran out of the room and came back with 2 guards and one of the cutest girls I’ve ever seen, sky blue eyes, dark brown hair, wearing a torn up dress that she looked amazing in, and she looks like she’s my age.
“What’s your name?” she said. Her voice is peaceful and calm. I choked up. “Ugh” … “It’s not a hard question what’s your name”? “Oh sorry my name is josh”, I managed to mumble that out. “What are you doing here” “I was just following this creepy old guy and I found this place, I thought I’d try to help. Oh and did you see the man who saved my life I want to thank him.”
“That was me”. The girl said. What! Now I feel stupid, I was on the floor while this girl saved my life. “Oh… Thank you”. “Can I ask some questions”? I asked. “Sure.” “What happened here? Who’s your king? What’s your name? What is this land? “I’ll answer everything in the morning it’s getting late. Guards unlock him he’s not bad.” “Thanks, I said. Where should I sleep?
“You can sleep in the room next to mine, follow me.”
I nodded my head and followed. We walked through many corridors. It was a beautiful castle. “Here you go”. “Thank you”. “Night” she said with a smile. “Night” my voice cracked. She laughed and walked through her door. I stood for a second than walked into my room. The room was huge with a fancy bed. I took off my clothes everything but my boxers. I kept thinking about this girl, I wonder if she’d go out with me. After some more thinking I quickly fell asleep.
Chapter 6: Why is this Happening?
I awoke to the smell of smoke, I opened my eyes and my whole room was in flames! I, being startled, took a huge breath in, my lungs filled with smoke. I starting coughing uncontrollably, I had to get out, and fast. I jumped off the bed and started crawling to the door. I started feeling dizzy from the lack of oxygen. I kept going, knowing that if I stopped now I would die. I opened the door and saw the whole place has gone up in flames, more smoke poured through the room. I looked left and I looked right but no one was there. I was alone, I started to yell but that just made it harder to breathe. I got up off of the floor and started running, I didn’t know which way I was suppose to go but I had to get out of there. The faster I ran, the more I was coughing. I was about to give up, but there was a window! When I get there I see that I’m at least on the 3rd floor of the castle.
Luckily, there some type of cloth rope hanging down from it, when I slide down I see there are no more people running around, there’s no one to be seen, not even the girl. Once I left the burning civilization, I looked down at my ankle, looking even worst then it did before. I was hoping this girl I met was all right she was amazing. After a while I just layed down on the grass and stared out at the sky. For what seemed like hours, a note flew by my face. I grabbed the note; it read, “Josh, I am sorry what has happened to you, that’s now how everything was planned out. I can’t even be sure that you’re actually alive right now. I drew you a simple map to guide you to where Jim and me are. I really hope your ok, there isn’t much time, you should be here before nightfall, but hurry I know your ankle is in terrible condition; we’ll have to look at it as soon as you get here.”-John.
I didn’t care what was happening now I just wanted answers! Jim is going to get it! I hate him for not telling me what the hell is going on. HE knows what’s going on he has to! After trying to figure out this map, I saw 6-7 guards guarding someone. I ran over there, the guards were cornered by 5 creepers. When I got close enough to look at whom they were guarding, I saw her. It was the girl from the castle. What can I possibly do?
Chapter 7: The King and Jim
She’s scared, trembling, crying. I think of something, anything I could do, I look to my left and my right. A blinding light coming from a tree catches my attention. SSSSSSS Boom! An explosion irrupted from my side, taking me off balance and throwing me into a tree, the tree. Disoriented, head bleeding, I look to see what’s in the tree. A Bow! I Haven’t anything like this. It’s Radiant black, glowing in the sunlight.
I take the bow; it feels almost perfect in my hands. The bow turns into a dazzling silver and gold, everything around me turns slow motion, the birds, the swaying of the tree’s, everything. A bee slowly passes me by. It’s trying to get my attention but I am in no point in time to be figuring this out.
Arrows… I look all around not an arrow in sight. ****.
The bow swiftly starts vibrating in my hand. “What do you want?” I say. At that moment SSSSSS Boom! Another explosion from behind, this time I’m blown, spinning in the air. The bow vibrating more rapidly then before. I land on a branch, which snaps in half and I come crashing down to the ground. I want to give up, forget everything and just go back home. But that’s no option; I’d live never live this down.
I pull myself up, with the bow. The bow! Why didn’t it release from my hands, I definitely wasn’t holding on to it in that time. I look to see if there are any more Creepers by me, nothing. Time goes back to normal and the creepers are closing in even more on the girl. I make a mad dash towards her and do the only thing left to do, chuck the bow at the creepers. Not only does it hit one of them but turns him into ash. The rest of the Creepers turn and make an ear piercing hissing noise and launch towards me.
I stand frozen with fear, what the hell did I just do. “Hey, you should really start running!” yelled the girl. I snap out of the trance and make a run for it, I’m sprinting to god knows where when my leg gets snatched on a patch of tall grass. I kick and kick but my foot is stuck. The creepers are getting too close for comfort. “Hurry!” the girl shouts. “I’m trying my best!” I yell back. I give one final yank and my foot is blasted out of the grass almost kneeing myself in the face.
I get up and start running but collapse on the grass, sprained ankle. I haul myself up and do my best to rush away from these creepers.
I run and run for what feels like hours when I come upon a huge Kingdom, better than the last. It’s the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen. Gold and silver walls, massive towers, and marble pillars in the front. This must be the outer wall; it’s got to be even greater inside. There’s one word that shouts out to me, shelter.
I drag myself to keep running, my entire body is ready to collapse.
The closer I get to the Kingdom it looks…abandoned. The doors are colossal, gold outline with gold and red woven into them. I push open the doors, heavier than what you’d think. Once I get in I turn to see the Creepers about 10 feet away, I almost freeze but instantly break out of it.
I shut the door as immediate as possible. The doors are made of Iron; the Creepers won’t be able to take them down.
I push myself towards the doors, the Creeper explosion forces the doors open slightly. I push back again “C’mon! Nothing’s going right!" I look down ready for another impact when I see a giant metal cylinder.
A door lock! I rush to pick the cylinder up and lock it into place just before another explosion. I fall to the ground bloody, sweaty, and exhausted. I lift my head off the floor and see the beauty of the foyer. The floors are made of smooth marble and the walls gold and silver. A drawbridge is the only thing separating me between improved cover. SSSSSSSS Boom! SSSSS Boom! SSSSSSS Boom!
Three more creepers blow shaking the ground, crumbles off the walls come down and fall into the mote. “Hello?! Is anyone there!?“, I yell hoping someone anyone can hear me, if anybody’s even here. I look up to see the sun beating down on me. SSSS Boom! Another explosion comes from outside the doors. They have me cornered, I have nowhere to go.
I rest myself on the floor to gain my strength. I feel a trickling down my leg, blood and a lot of it. When did that get there? SSSS Boom! A solid pound rock strikes me in the head. Lightheaded I yell, “Please if you’re in there let me in!” “Damnit son let him in already!” I hear a stranger say infuriated. In a tower above the drawbridge there’s movement. “If you know how the hell to work this be my guest he didn’t make it easy!” Another man says. The voices familiar, Jim! “Jim! Down here!” he’s too distracted to hear what I said.
SSSS Boom! Another creeper blows and this time taking 1/3 of the wall with it. “Found it! Found the switch dropping the bridge down now!
I give a sigh of relief. The bridge slowly starts coming down. I push my self on the wall to keep myself balanced. A loud rusty noise comes from the bridge and the bridge is brought to a halt.
“John get in here! We have another problem.” A man who looks like he’s in his mid 40’s with a small beard appeared in the tower.
He turns to me “Jum”-SSSS Boom! The explosion blows half the door off. I look and there are additional Creepers, when I say additional there are at least 20 creepers, furious Creepers. “Jump!”, John says “Now!” The bridge is well over my head. “I don’t think I can!” I say petrified. I put my hands over my face, this isn’t where I belong, and this isn’t my home. “Damnit Josh Now!”
I get my head back on my shoulders and walk back to the doors. I take three deep breaths, one, two, three. SSSS Boom! The creepers broke down the doors, one after the other start shuffling into the foyer. My body takes off. I take a leap of faith and spring myself towards the bridge. The bridge is too high; there isn’t any way I’m going to reach it. The bridge slightly lowers; my hand just reaches the tip of it. I’m left dangling by one hand on the bridge, with the rest of my strength I pull myself up onto the inclined bridge.
I stumble and start rolling down the bridge and land with a crack. Pain is filling my left arm, the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I lay there almost dead. John and Jim come running towards me. John kneels down to me” You’re one stubborn kid” John says with a laugh. “So you’re John.” John nods. “ So you don’t know why you’re here yet do you?” Jim say’s I try to get up but drop right back down. “Oh god, look at him he’s in worst condition than I imagined.” John say’s.
John’s expression turns from cheerful to worried. “Come on son, we need to get you checked out.” Right when John picks me up the ground shakes, the walls shake, everything’s shaking. There wasn’t a Creeper explosion either. “Earthquake” John say’s. Earthquake.

I’m still on the ground struggling to get to my feet when one of them comes charging at me. He swings at me and smashes a glass bottle over my head; he goes to swing again but is knocked down by someone swinging on a rope. As I’m watching this person kick these guys butts I start to fade in and out of consciousness.
When I wake up I’m in what I think is a doctor’s office, I try to get up but I’m too dizzy to walk, then I look at my arm and see that it’s chained to the bed! Woo I’m being held prisoner.
I sit there waiting for someone to tell me what’s going on. After a couple of minutes someone shows up. “Finally” I thought to myself. “Oh you’re awake” the woman said. She ran out of the room and came back with 2 guards and one of the cutest girls I’ve ever seen, sky blue eyes, dark brown hair, wearing a torn up dress that she looked amazing in, and she looks like she’s my age.
“What’s your name?” she said. Her voice is peaceful and calm. I choked up. “Ugh” … “It’s not a hard question what’s your name”? “Oh sorry my name is josh”, I managed to mumble that out. “What are you doing here” “I was just following this creepy old guy and I found this place, I thought I’d try to help. Oh and did you see the man who saved my life I want to thank him.”
“That was me”. The girl said. What! Now I feel stupid, I was on the floor while this girl saved my life. “Oh… Thank you”. “Can I ask some questions”? I asked. “Sure.” “What happened here? Who’s your king? What’s your name? What is this land? “I’ll answer everything in the morning it’s getting late. Guards unlock him he’s not bad.” “Thanks, I said. Where should I sleep?
“You can sleep in the room next to mine, follow me.”
I nodded my head and followed. We walked through many corridors. It was a beautiful castle. “Here you go”. “Thank you”. “Night” she said with a smile. “Night” my voice cracked. She laughed and walked through her door. I stood for a second than walked into my room. The room was huge with a fancy bed. I took off my clothes everything but my boxers. I kept thinking about this girl, I wonder if she’d go out with me. After some more thinking I quickly fell asleep.
Chapter 6: Why is this Happening?
I awoke to the smell of smoke, I opened my eyes and my whole room was in flames! I, being startled, took a huge breath in, my lungs filled with smoke. I starting coughing uncontrollably, I had to get out, and fast. I jumped off the bed and started crawling to the door. I started feeling dizzy from the lack of oxygen. I kept going, knowing that if I stopped now I would die. I opened the door and saw the whole place has gone up in flames, more smoke poured through the room. I looked left and I looked right but no one was there. I was alone, I started to yell but that just made it harder to breathe. I got up off of the floor and started running, I didn’t know which way I was suppose to go but I had to get out of there. The faster I ran, the more I was coughing. I was about to give up, but there was a window! When I get there I see that I’m at least on the 3rd floor of the castle.
Luckily, there some type of cloth rope hanging down from it, when I slide down I see there are no more people running around, there’s no one to be seen, not even the girl. Once I left the burning civilization, I looked down at my ankle, looking even worst then it did before. I was hoping this girl I met was all right she was amazing. After a while I just layed down on the grass and stared out at the sky. For what seemed like hours, a note flew by my face. I grabbed the note; it read, “Josh, I am sorry what has happened to you, that’s now how everything was planned out. I can’t even be sure that you’re actually alive right now. I drew you a simple map to guide you to where Jim and me are. I really hope your ok, there isn’t much time, you should be here before nightfall, but hurry I know your ankle is in terrible condition; we’ll have to look at it as soon as you get here.”-John.
I didn’t care what was happening now I just wanted answers! Jim is going to get it! I hate him for not telling me what the hell is going on. HE knows what’s going on he has to! After trying to figure out this map, I saw 6-7 guards guarding someone. I ran over there, the guards were cornered by 5 creepers. When I got close enough to look at whom they were guarding, I saw her. It was the girl from the castle. What can I possibly do?
Chapter 7: The King and Jim
She’s scared, trembling, crying. I think of something, anything I could do, I look to my left and my right. A blinding light coming from a tree catches my attention. SSSSSSS Boom! An explosion irrupted from my side, taking me off balance and throwing me into a tree, the tree. Disoriented, head bleeding, I look to see what’s in the tree. A Bow! I Haven’t anything like this. It’s Radiant black, glowing in the sunlight.
I take the bow; it feels almost perfect in my hands. The bow turns into a dazzling silver and gold, everything around me turns slow motion, the birds, the swaying of the tree’s, everything. A bee slowly passes me by. It’s trying to get my attention but I am in no point in time to be figuring this out.
Arrows… I look all around not an arrow in sight. ****.
The bow swiftly starts vibrating in my hand. “What do you want?” I say. At that moment SSSSSS Boom! Another explosion from behind, this time I’m blown, spinning in the air. The bow vibrating more rapidly then before. I land on a branch, which snaps in half and I come crashing down to the ground. I want to give up, forget everything and just go back home. But that’s no option; I’d live never live this down.
I pull myself up, with the bow. The bow! Why didn’t it release from my hands, I definitely wasn’t holding on to it in that time. I look to see if there are any more Creepers by me, nothing. Time goes back to normal and the creepers are closing in even more on the girl. I make a mad dash towards her and do the only thing left to do, chuck the bow at the creepers. Not only does it hit one of them but turns him into ash. The rest of the Creepers turn and make an ear piercing hissing noise and launch towards me.
I stand frozen with fear, what the hell did I just do. “Hey, you should really start running!” yelled the girl. I snap out of the trance and make a run for it, I’m sprinting to god knows where when my leg gets snatched on a patch of tall grass. I kick and kick but my foot is stuck. The creepers are getting too close for comfort. “Hurry!” the girl shouts. “I’m trying my best!” I yell back. I give one final yank and my foot is blasted out of the grass almost kneeing myself in the face.
I get up and start running but collapse on the grass, sprained ankle. I haul myself up and do my best to rush away from these creepers.
I run and run for what feels like hours when I come upon a huge Kingdom, better than the last. It’s the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen. Gold and silver walls, massive towers, and marble pillars in the front. This must be the outer wall; it’s got to be even greater inside. There’s one word that shouts out to me, shelter.
I drag myself to keep running, my entire body is ready to collapse.
The closer I get to the Kingdom it looks…abandoned. The doors are colossal, gold outline with gold and red woven into them. I push open the doors, heavier than what you’d think. Once I get in I turn to see the Creepers about 10 feet away, I almost freeze but instantly break out of it.
I shut the door as immediate as possible. The doors are made of Iron; the Creepers won’t be able to take them down.
I push myself towards the doors, the Creeper explosion forces the doors open slightly. I push back again “C’mon! Nothing’s going right!" I look down ready for another impact when I see a giant metal cylinder.
A door lock! I rush to pick the cylinder up and lock it into place just before another explosion. I fall to the ground bloody, sweaty, and exhausted. I lift my head off the floor and see the beauty of the foyer. The floors are made of smooth marble and the walls gold and silver. A drawbridge is the only thing separating me between improved cover. SSSSSSSS Boom! SSSSS Boom! SSSSSSS Boom!
Three more creepers blow shaking the ground, crumbles off the walls come down and fall into the mote. “Hello?! Is anyone there!?“, I yell hoping someone anyone can hear me, if anybody’s even here. I look up to see the sun beating down on me. SSSS Boom! Another explosion comes from outside the doors. They have me cornered, I have nowhere to go.
I rest myself on the floor to gain my strength. I feel a trickling down my leg, blood and a lot of it. When did that get there? SSSS Boom! A solid pound rock strikes me in the head. Lightheaded I yell, “Please if you’re in there let me in!” “Damnit son let him in already!” I hear a stranger say infuriated. In a tower above the drawbridge there’s movement. “If you know how the hell to work this be my guest he didn’t make it easy!” Another man says. The voices familiar, Jim! “Jim! Down here!” he’s too distracted to hear what I said.
SSSS Boom! Another creeper blows and this time taking 1/3 of the wall with it. “Found it! Found the switch dropping the bridge down now!
I give a sigh of relief. The bridge slowly starts coming down. I push my self on the wall to keep myself balanced. A loud rusty noise comes from the bridge and the bridge is brought to a halt.
“John get in here! We have another problem.” A man who looks like he’s in his mid 40’s with a small beard appeared in the tower.
He turns to me “Jum”-SSSS Boom! The explosion blows half the door off. I look and there are additional Creepers, when I say additional there are at least 20 creepers, furious Creepers. “Jump!”, John says “Now!” The bridge is well over my head. “I don’t think I can!” I say petrified. I put my hands over my face, this isn’t where I belong, and this isn’t my home. “Damnit Josh Now!”
I get my head back on my shoulders and walk back to the doors. I take three deep breaths, one, two, three. SSSS Boom! The creepers broke down the doors, one after the other start shuffling into the foyer. My body takes off. I take a leap of faith and spring myself towards the bridge. The bridge is too high; there isn’t any way I’m going to reach it. The bridge slightly lowers; my hand just reaches the tip of it. I’m left dangling by one hand on the bridge, with the rest of my strength I pull myself up onto the inclined bridge.
I stumble and start rolling down the bridge and land with a crack. Pain is filling my left arm, the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I lay there almost dead. John and Jim come running towards me. John kneels down to me” You’re one stubborn kid” John says with a laugh. “So you’re John.” John nods. “ So you don’t know why you’re here yet do you?” Jim say’s I try to get up but drop right back down. “Oh god, look at him he’s in worst condition than I imagined.” John say’s.
John’s expression turns from cheerful to worried. “Come on son, we need to get you checked out.” Right when John picks me up the ground shakes, the walls shake, everything’s shaking. There wasn’t a Creeper explosion either. “Earthquake” John say’s. Earthquake.
