Hello all! You may remember me from the "Glitch World" series. I am making another story, about a miner and his journal. Each day, a new part to the journal will be added. Enjoy! Oh, and, sometimes 2 or maybe 3 days will be added in 1 day :sad.gif:

A Miner's Journal
Day 1:
I do not remember how I got to this land. I am stranded and I need to find my way back to the real world. I realised it would take a couple of days, probably weeks, to build a boat and find my way out, back to the real world. I had to build a shelter to protect myself from storms.... and monsters. I gathered wood and quickly made a workbench, and I got to work on my house. It is small, yes, but I'm sure I will expand it as time goes on.
The sun is going down now. I should get inside. I made a door and placed it at the front of the house. After all that was done, I went out quickly to scavenge for coal. I'm too late. It's already night and I can see what looks like people walking around in the darkness. I should stay away from them though, they could be evil.
Day 2:
I began making my way back to my small shelter, and tried not to run into any of these "people". As I opened my door, a green creature with no arms spotted me, and started making his way over to me. I went into my home quickly and slammed the door shut. The creature hissed as it got to the door.
I was getting a little sleepy though. It was mid-night, and I knew I had ALOT of work to do tomorrow. I made myself a bed and I laid down on it. It took me about half an hour before I drifted off, and I had a strange dream. In this dream, I was walking outside my house, and I saw nothing but lava. I started making a bridge to get to a higher shelter, and I saw a man in the distance. He was hovering over the lava, making his way to me.
I saw his face. He looked like me! But... where were his pupils? I woke up, terrified. It was morning, and I saw what looked like zombies and skeletons burning, and I saw the giant spiders for the first time.
Day 3:
I went outside to try and find more resources. I found a deep cave up near a mountain. I started crafting some torches and I headed inside the dark tunnel to find some iron. I found some in 30 seconds flat, and mined it out. I was able to find 4 to 7 blocks in there. As I turned around, a skeleton came out of the dark tunnel and started pelting me with arrows. I started running away from the skeleton, and then I remembered what I forgot to bring with me; a sword.
I ran home and quickly crafted a sword using the cobblestone I mined out in the cave. I went back outside and saw the skeletons remains on the ground. He was obviously burned in the sunlight.
I went back into the deep cave. As I went further down, the lighting started getting dimmer and dimmer. I saw a light in the distance. "Someone else in here?" I called. No reply. I went down to where the light was, and saw a huge lava pool. I looked above it and saw what looked like diamonds. As I started thinking about how to get to them, I heard footsteps behind me. I didn't think it was anything to worry about, since dirt always falls from the tops of caves. I kept thinking, and then I heard it; "SSSSSSssssss..." A loud hiss was what I heard. I looked behind me to see one of those green things, just sitting there. He exploded, which sent me flying across the lava pool! I smashed into a wall and fell straight into the lava. This was the end I thought. I'm doomed.
Day 4:
I closed my eyes, and I knew I was going to die in a matter of seconds. Instead of feeling more pain and warmth, I felt wind swoosh past me. It was no longer hot, and I was no longer in pain. I actually felt pretty good. I opened my eyes and found myself on land, back where I was to start with. I looked around. I saw my shelter off in the distance. I ran to it, seeing as it was getting darker. I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes. "This has been a rough day" I said to myself, as I fell asleep.
Like before, I had a really strange dream. It sort of picked up where it left off in my last dream, with the strange "no-pupil" man hovering over lava. In my dream, he said to me: "You'll never win." He stabbed me in the chest several times, in which I fell off my bridge and fell into the lava beneath it.
I woke up, again, terrified. It was only mid-night. I got out of bed and watched the monsters walking around in the darkness. I watched as the dense fog moved closer through the night sky.
Day 5:
I went out to harvest more wood. I wanted to expand my house a little. I quickly made an axe and headed out the door. As I was cutting down trees, I noticed something move in the distant forest. I sighed. One of those green things again. It didn't notice me though. From what it did to me back before, I decided to call them "Creepers."
I got a stack of 30 Logs, and made them into some wooden planks. I saw something else moving in the forest. It was attacking the Creeper! I went a little closer, and saw that it was a wolf! It glared at me. It didn't look happy. Maybe it wanted a bone? I gave it some, and it immediately became my friend. It followed me wherever I went. I had a new friend.
Day 6:
I am actually starting to like this weird world now. It's only the monsters that I hate. Especially the creepers. Anyway, I started to expand my house a little. Got a second floor now, where all my chests and furnaces are held. I made a little bed for my pet that I made yesterday.
I made some tools quickly and headed back to the cave that I died in, and I took my dog too. This time, I am going to mine out those diamonds and I will not die. I have a guard dog by my side.
I went in the cave and started mining those diamonds, when I heard whimpering. I looked at my dog. He had an arrow stuck in his back! I pulled it out and fed him some porkchops that I got earlier. He wagged his tail and started panting. Then 5 seconds later, he went out to hunt for skeletons. I got the diamonds and left the cave with my dog.
I read that in under a minute, and while I realize you will be adding to it, this first entry is very short. At least add his first encounter with these monsters, introduce us to the protagonist and overall add more detail.
I like what I see however, and I will be looking into you Glitch world series.
