I love this! I just finished the first "book" and will be reading the other one later today. Thank you very much for the read, I look forward to the remaining chapters.
I just have one question, how long do you plan to continue the story? Will it be ongoing until you get bored with it or have you already planned it out?
Sorry if I repeated an already asked question, I don't have time to read through the thread right now.

I am hoping to continue it for 3-5 books and 30-50 chapters. I am planning for this to be a novel.
As for it being planned out? The basics are but when Notch adds in new things to Minecraft I will add in new things too.

Thanks to that douche reporting the post that it was in the wrong section, the views on this has dropped down to the single-digits in the last WEEK of it being here.
Seriously, does anyone read this now that it is in Art and Creativity? I wan to request that it be moved back, but I am not sure the mod would go for it.

Keep writing. Just now found it and it's very good. Slight complaint that it's in chapters even though each 'chapter' is maybe a page of text, but that's me searching for something to nitpick over. Keep working, you has readers.

Want something to read? Got ten minutes to kill? Here you go!
Good news: Swingerzetta is going to contact the other mods and see if he/she can move this back to Alpha and get their opinions about it. After all, it is one of the longest fanfictions to date. =D
And expect a new chapter by week's end, guys.

Really, Really awesome. You should put on the title: "BOOK 1 WRITTEN WITH PERMISSION FROM JONNO" Obviously I don't think the title can be that long though.

I never browse arts and creativity myself. Until now that is, since following the link in your signature to this thread. Now I've read Miner's Eternity and Diary of a Creeper and I'm glad i did. Don't worry about what sub forum its in. Just keep it linked in your sig and try to stay at least a little active in the rest of the forum with a post here and there [chances are whatever catches your interest enough to post will also be catching many other minecrafter's interest as well]. Your potential readers will see your sig there and come here like I did. Keep up the good work. I'd be interested in that fantasy novel you mentioned.
Suggestions:
1. PROOFREADERS
Find some volunteer proofreaders, the more the better. Authors tend to be terrible proofreaders of their own work because they tend to read the story more from memory [subjectively] rather than strictly with their eyes [objectively]. You need some objective POVs to view the story without the aid of having the story memorized. Get your friends at school or work or online, sister, brother, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, whoever. They don't have to be a college English major to proofread your story, they will still catch many things you will miss.
2. ATTRACTIVE ATTENTION GRABBING TITLE GRAPHIC IN SIG
Do up an attractive little title graphic and accompanying link code to this thread and invite everyone who loves your story to add the cool signature sized title image and link to their sig if they have room for it. [BTW].
3. WEBSITE
All aspiring writers who want to get the recognition that will keep inspiration high as well as hopefully attract potential publishers should have their own website portfolio featuring any stories they have made free to the public. You can make a showcase of your work all at one short and simple personalized domain name [for a only a few bucks a month] like DragonChamp.com or something. And it is bound to be far easier on the eyes there than in a forum post not to mention much more professional. Just few ideas for ya to sleep on. :wink.gif:
P.S. You still have that SMP server going? I usually play my own single player worlds but I like to check out multiplayer worlds now and then to see what people are up to and maybe join in whatever they are doing if I'm inspired [or entertained] by it. So far none have really entertained or inspired me enough yet to pull me away from my world yet...
SMP is buggy atm, we will be back up when notch fixes it.
Also, for a website? I could host on my private website. Might do that. Good idea.
And proofreaders? I try to read it myself and proofread, and I guess I am not doing a very good job... I'll look into it.
And sorry for the delay everyone, college issues. >.>

Dude this story is awesome!!! if only i could write half this good. Awesome work hope to see this as a published book one day. I'd definetly buy it. Can't wait for the future chapters man.
And, tomorrow, I should have enough time to sit down and make the next chapter. Until then, a bit of a creepy thing I found to tide you over...
A few years ago, a mother and father decided they needed a break, so they wanted to head out for a night on the town. They called their most trusted babysitter. When the babysitter arrived, the two children were already fast asleep in bed. So the babysitter just got to sit around and make sure everything was okay with the children.
Later that night, the babysitter got bored and went to watch TV, but she couldn't watch it downstairs because they did not have cable downstairs (the parents didn't want children watching too much garbage). So, she called them and asked them if she could watch cable in the parent's room. Of course, the parents said it was OK, but the babysitter had one final request… she asked if she could cover up the angel statue outside the bedroom window with a blanket or cloth, at the very least close the blinds, because it made her nervous.
The phone line was silent for a moment, and the father who was talking to the babysitter at the time said, "..Take the children and get out of the house…we will call the police. We do not have an angel statue." The police found all three of the house occupants dead within ten minutes of the call.
No statue was found.
Reminds me of a Doctor Who episode called "Don't Blink."

That's just really freaky.
No longer version? no more?
To bad, I love reading thriller, although it creepes me out.
Ew. I will have a trauma for angels statue's now.
