Once again, guys, I am sorry about the delay. Seem to be dried up on ideas, and cannot seem to get Charle out of the hole. Every time I sit down to write, I always seem to mess it up for myself.

I should, however, be able to spend a decent amount of time thinking things over tomorrow, or Thursday. Either one, and I should have a new chapter by the end of the day.

I know I don't have a lot of readers, and I am probably going to lose a few from this fiasco, but for those of you staying, thanks.

Alright, everyone, I want to let you know why I have been behind on my updates. Instead of just saying "Oh, I cannot do it today, sorry" I will give you a bit of insight.

Well, all of you know how a writer loves ot make his work known to the world. And how he loves to get constructive criticism about his work. Well, aver the past 2 to 3 days I have been victim of no less than 3 people all PMing me to tell me my story sucks and different reasons why I should not write it. Some of the choice phrases used where:

"You are bastardizing Jonno's works, you hack"

"Miner's Eternity? More like Miner's Failure. Your fiction sucks and you should quit working on it."

"Dude, you are a little ****. You are stealing Jonno's work and quite frankly? It sucks."

Well, after reading these messages, I have started on a downward spiral of writing. I cannot bring myself to even work on my novel. I know I am just letting it get to me, But things like that just... hurt. More than I can say.

Well, 3 days ago, Dr. Leon posted here. gave me a bit of inspiration, and I started working on the next chapter. Finally getting back my inspiration a bit, I then continued working, when I suddenly got another PM. Looking in it, it set me off for another few days, containing this piece of work:

"You are a pathetic excuse for a writer, you illiterate moron. Your book disgusts me. All you seem to have done is attach yourself like a Leech to Jonno's work to get some attention for yourself from it. You probably couldn't even write a story by yourself, and all this ******** you have been feeding us about a novel that probably doesnt exist is another factor of your douchebaggery. You can kiss my ass, you piece of crap, and you need to stop working on that camel-dropping you call a fanfiction."

Well, that is what set me off on this current slump. I am working out of it now, and I think I might be rising back up and I am hoping to get a chapter done tonight, ignoring all PMs until I do so. Wish me luck.

TL;DR: Got trolled, QQed about it, and am going to try to get another chapter done now.

Alright everyone, I have sat down and made the new chapter. Chapter 12: hellfire is up, and as its name suggests, introduces Hell for Charle.

I am quite frankly upset with these trolls. Next time, ignore them until you finish, take a break, start ignoring and write more. I'm sure you'll finish it soon!

finishing is not for a while. We still have Books 2 and 3, and maybe even a 4th. Each one will have a minimum of 10 chapters. I am hoping to make this into a novel-sized fanfiction.

Alright guys, as a special treat, I have finished chapter 13 for you guys.

Please post here in the threads and give me any criticism you might have for the story, or even just the newest chapter. I really enjoy listening to opinions, as long as they are not ones that are meant to be harmful.

That was quick. What about learning to create a device that summons these portals?

Epic Win!

Simply EPIC. I love how this goes with the NEW Minecraft update!

I like this companion piece to Diary of a Creeper, although it's certainly taken on a life of its own.

Some of the ideas I've liked the most are the idea that zombies are the player character's fallen bodies and dipping the skeleton in iron. Both were novel concepts that I've not seen anywhere else, and it took a creative mind to come up with them.

It can be hard to keep writing, especially if you don't know what you want to happen. Raymond Chandler said when he didn't know where to go next he'd send in a man with a gun or have the protagonist knocked unconscious. Minecraft doesn't have guns (yet), so you might have to improvise.

Keep it up, looking forward to Charlie's further adventures!

Chapter 14 is out, bringing wolves into the story.

I would also like to point out that I used my own ideas for the wolf:

Wolves approach light, especially fire.
When pork is given to wolves they turn allied to the player.
Allied wolves stay close to the player and attack any mobs that come within 3 meters of the player.

Keep it up! Its really good stuff.

Computer crashed guys, might be a few days for the next update; posting on my mother's laptop.

I love the wolves! I think wolves would be EPIC in-game. You could name them and even make skins for them to :ohmy.gif:

Nice story thus far. I enjoyed Diary of a Creeper, and reading from a parallel author of Charle's prospective is nice.

They are reuseable. Charle just hans't learned how to summon them yet. *hint hint*
