The year is 2011, two men are searching a newly discovered village in the great world of minecraftia. Whilst searching One of the men finds a small book, the younger of the two quickly called out to his co worker who could read several different ancient languages.
"Ian, there you are! I've been looking all over for you, now what were you calling me for?" Said Jack
"I found an old piece of literature, I figured you could read it." Said Ian, obviously anticipating the old man reading aloud. Jack looked at the book then quickly back to Ian with displeasure.
"I don't suppose you looked at the first page?" Jack muttered with frustration. Ian took the old crusty book in his hands and studied it. It looked as if the first few pages were torn out, then Ian noticed something shocking, the words were in english. they read:
Hello, my name is Steve. I can't remember what my last name is. In fact, I can't remember anything before dawn this morning. I woke up on a beach, I looked around and tried to stand up. As soon as I moved my legs, my whole body burned as if it were on fire, and trust me, I know how that feels. It took until noon for me to stand up, and even then I still burned as if I was standing on top of a torch.
I quickly started punching trees, as soon as my hands felt as if they were about to break, I made an ax. After chopping down a few more trees, I built a small, and I mean SMALL shack. With an hour left to spare still in the day, I walked back to the beach I awoke on. I looked through the sand to see if I had missed something in my haste. As it turns out, I missed a small, leather book. With the sun setting at my back I turned to go home. Once at home, I opened the book and realized I couldn't read any of the pages, so I tore out the first 10 pages with care, and started writing. I'm going to try to sleep now, but there are these weird, hellish noises outside.
I hear bones rattling, moaning of the damned, and spiders hissing. I'll investigate when I can walk with zero pain whatsoever, So I'm going to lay down on the filth that is my floor, and sleep.

Ian finished the page then closed the book, started to scavenge once more when he heard Jack call for him, "Ian close the book we're leaving." So Ian held the book under his arm, along with a few other things, a small idol, a child's toy, and a strange polished rock.

Ian woke with a start, he'd been having nightmares ever since he read that journal entry. The thought of not knowing who you are is scary enough. But to add being marooned in an unknown area with no one to help you out is even scarier. Ian left a note for his wife and snuck out to the vault where Jack and him put their findings. He looked through and after finding the book, set it down on a desk, and flipped to page 2. He read
This morning I walked outside before daybreak to see if I had healed at all. My wounds were near painless, but the sounds were gone. I looked around and saw something I would have never expected. Another human being. But he was different than what I classified as human in my mind, he was at least a foot taller than me, his eyes were purple, but worst of all, he had something eminating from him... Something purple. I'd seen that before too.
I didn't even see his features, it was too dark, but I saw his form. That was enough for me. I ran inside and slammed the door, hoping that he didn't notice me. I waited an hour before daring to walk outside again. When I did, I was looking for wool to get a proper bed. So I killed a sheep, after tearing at his fine wool, occasionally tearing off skin in the process, I finally gor barely enough wool to have a lampshade. I decided I needed more than just my bare hands to get the wool, so I made a sword out of wood. I attempted to use this to slice the wool off of the sheep but I ended up killing it again, it wasn't sharp enough.
I decided to create a mine so I could get iron. But after 2 hours I found something. A broken, black disc. I decided that my next plan was to make a record player so I could listen to this and see if it worked. I stored this next to my journal in my box.
Later I found some coal and made a load of torches, no more fear of something sneaking into my house I suppose. After that I decided to walk outside and investigate the odd noises. They were not good. I saw a green four legged creature, an undead human, skeletons that wielded bows and arrows, as well as spiders that were half my height. I took my sword out and quickly began bashing enemies left and right. One of the four legged creatures got close to me and strted to his and swell in size, so I hit him five meters away, he exploded and I got a wound across my arm.
After that, I ran inside and started writing, I can tell my house is secure. It has a... a feel about it. It's my safe place. Well I'm going to bed now. Thank you for reading people of the future, and good night.
"IAN!" Ian head Jack scream, this time, his sleep was dreamless. He looked up to see a very angry Jack. Ian took a quick glance at the clock. Midnight. Ian forgot about the second alarm they set, if it's 10:00pm - 6:00 am the silent alarm will set off. Ian slammed his head on the desk with such anger that the slam could be heard throughout the building.
Ian drove home, not anticipating the talk he would get from his wife. If you can't tell by now,Ian felt miserable, falling asleep? Forgetting the second alarm? What was becoming of him?

thanks, this is my first fan fic although I did a LOT of creative writing last year.
