A meteor has been discovered in a field in Minecraft.
It contains what appears to be weird reddish-colored rocks, a glowing rock of some sort, and a strange dirt with what look like faces on it.
The meteor's impact caused a forest fire and left a huge crater.
Animals have fallen in and died from fire and/or disease. Scientists were sent to investigate but were exposed to a disease that caused them to become horribly mutated. Some turned green, lost their arms, and became aggressive and would explode if too close.
Others became weird zombie-like beings that would eat people alive.
Others were affected so badly that their skin is completely gone and only their skeleton is left. Strangely, however, it appears that they are still alive and try to attack people with their bows that they had when they were infected with the disease or got from dead bodies.
And still others became extremely strange slime-things that split into smaller slime-things when attacked.
Pigs, squids, even spiders were transformed into horrible beasts.
Some of the creatures seem to be going deep underground and the materials from the meteor seems to be spreading down with them, fast. Scientists aren't sure what this means, but whatever it means, it's not going to be good.
The disease can be caught from any one of these creatures and is spreading fast. Other animals do not seem to be affected.... for
now.
UPDATE!
It appears that daylight burns some of the mutants.
Because of this, they have retreated into the depths of the earths and are currently lurking in the cave systems of our world.
Not really, though I do have the mod. I used TNT for the crater, WorldEditCUI for the meteor, BuilderMode for getting rid of some of the stone and getting infinite amounts of items, TooManyItems for getting the fire and blocks I used, and Weather Control for lightning for setting most of
the forest fires (I got lazy :tongue.gif:). Oh yeah, I also had the BioSphere mod activated but I don't anymore.
EDIT: I did use SSP Commands for spawning a pig zombie, a ghast, and some slimes. But I actually found a Nether sphere with some pig zombies underground. Also, in the Biosphere mod, a ridiculous amount of mobs spawn in the spheres. So all the pictures you see where there are a crapload of mobs is real.
It seems that NASA couldn't blow this one up with it's Plasma Powered high speed Photon discharge ray as they hadn't the money to start it up again. Remember folks, if you don't donate to NASA today, the Aliens and Space mutants win.
On a side note, Tha' be some purdy cool stuff ye got goin' on there.

Tisk tisk, no bumping here sir. At least pretend you aren't bumping by quoting people and saying something like "Thanks for the input guys.", but don't bump. I would hate to see you get in trouble.

I appreciate your concern, but I didn't say bump, I said thump. There's a difference. Lolninjaedit
That meteor reminds me of Element 115 from the Call of Duty Nazi Zombie series, the element which created the zombies in the first place... Nice backstory though, i really liked it !

I'd say about an hour and a half to two hours to make it, collect all the photos, type it up, and post it.
I actually got the idea because the roof of the biosphere had a big hole in it because it was too tall so I thought of the meteor idea.
I was thinking about it....
