Hey! The name's Dragon de Platino and this is a picture I painted! It took me about 2 weeks to paint this acrylic baby and I have to say, it came out a lot better than I thought it would! It was for an art project in which I had to combine to unlike things into one picture (My OC Platino and Minecraft) and I ended up getting a 99 for it. Platino is a fan character I made, and I am currently writing a story about him! Overall, the two things I wish I could improve with this picture are:
1. I could not fit the entire painting onto the scanner...
2. The background is a little thin which is why I got a 99...
Oh, and here is a shortened bio of Platino in case you are interested:
Dragon de Platino- A platinum dragon with profound psychic ability. Can infuse himself with the elements, change his shape and has an innate obsession with platinum. Currently lives in Palace Platino in Terra Confundo.
Itsy-bitsy little important thingie here... :3 I DO NOT TAKE REQUESTS!!!
Wasn't good enough in terms of evaluation for me, so here:
I believe that acrylic is a great way to paint, the paints are so thick and nice, you can always get the density of the colour you need, starting strong you can always water it out. But with acrylic there is the biggest difference between cheap and well made paints, the cheaps are watery and like always, quality comes with cash, so they are not as nice. The well made ones are usually a beautiful way to perform a piece of art. I think that the paints you used were actually quite nice, and I like the way you put forward the minecraft environment onto a painting.
I agree with whoever gave you the mark, as it could use a bit more strength as it is a video game, and games have very thick colours. Other than that, I say you did a very good job!
