Well I created this for ya really quickly =) I did not have much to go on. I have this in a vector format so you can have it in any size you like if you want me to mail it to you. As a logo I assumed you wanted something very simple without a lot of colors. or did you mean you wanted something more like a splash image? Like with a dramatic background and such?
Here is something I've seen done. I quickly mocked this up to give ya an idea of a splash screen. It's kinda cheesy but isn't that what minecraft is about =) The other images besides the logo I think are royalty free but I would not bet on it so best to replace them with some of your own. Anyways I think this should give you an idea.

Note these are Vector images done in Adobe Illustrator so they can be any size or DPI you like and great for Print on say T-Shirts or other Physical or Digital Media...
