Your race's backstory (needs to make the racial point picks make sense): The Grox were always a flimsy weak race, They were this because others would defend them when they helped the others... so over years they grew weaker and weaker... Then finally others stopped helping the Grox, and the Grox were on there own setting alone as a species across the lands finding and inventing and learning new things along the way... As they went they would learn powerful things and find powerful artifacts... One thing they learned/Found was a DNA type that could genetically enhance the species themselves... The leader of the Grox thought about leaving it but he descided not to since no one ever helped them anymore anyways. So when they took this DNA enhancment they could shoot electrical pulse's out of there Hands/Arms and not be hurt doing so... They could also control there weight very well and be able to fly pritty much. So the leader of the Grox descided... Well let us work for ourselves and dump others in the ditches like they did us. So thats what the Grox did, They built and worked on making technology to keep enhancing there bodies to make them the most dominate race/species... And they kept it to themselves. The Gros dident mind others but they only cared for themselves now and would rarly attack unless provoked or unless the others have something the Grox are in dire need of... Earth is lightyears away and we are undiscoverable. Our race is a green alien lifeform. With no significant traits. Using Ki we were able to perform many energy attack moves, but moving to this new planet seems to have removed those abilities, reverting us to just regular beings. We had also discovered our Ki does remain, just in a much weaker way. All the golems we make seem to fail, yet we can replenish our health with no worries. We crashlanded here and are submerged. Scared of this new enviroment, we will rise to the surface and see what we can salvage. We don't exactly know what lies in wait for us in this new atmosphere. -End Journal Log 0X398- 3. Your race's backstory (needs to make the racial point picks make sense): the etherim, to the surprise of most of the races, evolved on a planet covered mostly in ice with harsh blizzard conditions. a lot of plants and animals seem to have also evolved on the planet providing usable resources to the etherim. after they learned how to make tools and eventualy started mining they discovered that they're planet was highly resource rich. they began mining it out as quickly as they could and devoted most of they're resources to science and machinery. now as the planet they call home is depleted of most of its resources they have decided to find other planets to mine. however, like most of the other races, they seem to be very good at picking resource rich planets and as such have joined in the war for these planets. due to their lack of combat experience they're golems are bad attackers. however they have gotten very good at building strong walls and have integrated this good construction into they're golems giving them added health. 3. so anyways heres my ideas for a few extra perks and possibly stuff to be integrated as initial starting things for the teams (without usng perk points to get it)
perk: object replication - perk point cost: 3 effect: gives the team 1 energy condenser and 1 energy collector to start
perk: rocketry - perk point cost: 2 effect: upon building a missile control center (design to be decided later) the team gains the ability to launch missiles (needed materials to be decided later) at the game board and also possibly at enemy bases. materials loaded into missile tip will determine damage dealt to units on game board (damage based on emc value of missile tip item)
perk: extra resources - perk point cost: 5 effect: gives team 16 of: iron ore, tin ore, copper ore, gold ore, redstone dust, glowstone dust, lapis lazuli, diamond, 64 coal, and 4 furnaces to start.
meh these are just some ideas. hope ya like them gnarl
I can't use the object replication because its basically taking the best alchemy pick and making it cost less perk points.
The second perk point isnt really a perk because anyone can use rockets - put a jetpack on a uranium or obsidian golem and fling him somewhere
The third perk is again a backdoor into alchemy, however if you wanted a "good start", that will populate the area with extra resources.
