Welcome to StellarSurvivors.com
Hello, my name is xCapsule living in Canada and I'm the only owner of Stellar Survivors,
I started my first server development in 2020 which gives me the experience I have now.
Stellar Survivors has been an ongoing project for the past several months which will have a variety of gamemodes,
currently, we're starting out with a SMP server as it will be the main focus and branch out from there.
The features the server has:
‣ DDoS Protection
‣ 96GB DDR5 RAM (upgrade available)
‣ Paid Anti-Cheat, and
‣ Bedrock Support
We're looking for Moderators, Administrators, Designers, and Developers.

I’ve been browsing through servers that are recruiting and thought I’d share some constructive feedback on your project.
Your server shows a lot of promise, but there are a few areas that could benefit from some clarification. The mention of "96GB DDR5 RAM" is certainly impressive, but it might be overkill for an SMP server, where CPU and disk I/O performance are often more important than raw RAM. This setup could lead to unnecessary expenses unless you’re expecting a very large player base from the start. Additionally, while features like DDoS protection and paid anti-cheat are valuable, they’re fairly standard in the industry. What makes your implementation unique? Paid anti-cheat, in particular, can become costly—has this been accounted for in your long-term budget? Lastly, the inclusion of both "Human Resources" and a "Human Resources Director" feels unusual for a Minecraft server. Clarifying the responsibilities of these roles would help attract the right candidates.
On the website, there are a few things that could be improved. For example, your page mentions connecting to Stellar Survivors using the server IP at “the top of the page,” but no IP is listed there. Additionally, the application page could benefit from better formatting, as the bottom overflows significantly, leaving an awkward amount of blank space.
Wishing you the best of luck with your staff recruitment!
Thank you for your constructive feedback! I appreciate the time you took to provide such detailed insights. However, I’d like to address a few points that didn’t entirely make sense to me and offer some clarification:
There's nothing wrong with overkill RAM, as well as you wouldn't of known what my CPU or SSD. I have a good understanding of how important different hardware play their part for a Minecraft server. Though just for your information, my CPU and SSD are one the best so going back again, nothing wrong with more RAM than needed as it also looks impressive even if it's not needed, as long as I'm prepared as I like to think about it, it will not cause any unnessary expenses as it was a one time purchase.
Regarding DDoS protection and the paid anti-cheat (one-time purchase), I acknowledge that these can be costly, but they’re part of a budget I’ve carefully planned. I’m confident in my ability to sustain these features long-term, and I’m quite satisfied with the current setup.
I understand that having both "Human Resources" and a "Human Resources Director" might seem unusual for a Minecraft server. To address potential confusion, we’ve included detailed role descriptions in the staff application process. Anyone curious about these roles can ask for clarification through our AI-Support system on Discord or speak with a staff member directly. These roles might feel uncommon because Stellar Survivors isn’t a typical server—we aim to stand out.
As for the website, it’s still very much in beta and far from ready for official public use. While I appreciate your observations, commenting on an unfinished product seems premature. I’m already aware of the issues you mentioned, and I’m actively working on improving the site. As we approach the server’s release, I’ll ensure the website is polished, at which point I’d gladly welcome further feedback.
Once again, thank you for your input! It’s always great to receive constructive feedback, and I hope this clarifies some of your concerns.

Here to bump this thread.
Hey, the developer position is paid?
It’s currently not a paid position, but there’s plans for it to be in the future when release comes
Hi, the Discord link seems to have expired. Could you possibly update it? Thanks.
We’re still accepting staff applications, going strong 💪🏼
