The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
I have just purchased a shiny new dedi, and want to have either debian or ubuntu (take your pick) installed on it, as well as Multicraft. I also have the server files on my computer, and would like instruction on how to transfer them to the Multicraft server, when set up. I also want VanillaVotifer installed and running.
If you know of an optimized server jar that changes nothing from the vanilla jar, that can be installed instead of the default Minecraft 1.11 jar. However, it has to change absolutely nothing about the game other than optimization. This is not a requirement.
I am willing to pay $10 for this one-time thing. I will PM the SSH username and password so you can get things done, and other information as necessary.
Spigot and Bukkit have their own optimizations, you can get them and not download any plugins. I suggest you read about their optimizations in case you find nobody who can help you here. To transfer your files, put them all into a folder, and compress that folder into a .zip file. Open FTP access on multi craft, then send over the zip file, and unzip it once it's sent.
have you tried following a tutorial already? Try the minecraft wiki tutorial, as they give some important tips and notices. If you still can't understand it from there, try a video tutorial on YouTube (try searching "how to set up a minecraft server").
