The realm has presided under years of tenuous peace, led by the Elves. Despite their prejudiced tendencies, they were intelligent enough to be great and just rulers for centuries. The last of the Elf Kings, Huilog, had ruled for thirty years, with the help of his High Council. Made up of elected representatives from each race inhabiting Aeiros, the High Council was tasked with assisting the Kings with political decisions, and maintaining peace between the crown and the realm’s citizens.
Taj Cleavehammer, the representative of the Trolls, had been noticing a pattern in the King’s decisions. Time after time, he would neglect the Troll’s wishes for the realm, favouring his own instead. The Trolls were continually missing out on important trade deals and agreements, and receiving sparse funding and aid from the crown.
Deciding enough was enough, Taj, backed by a considerable army of Troll berserkers, led a revolution against the crown. Storming the royal stronghold in Castano, Taj’s forces swiftly overpowered the guards, seizing the castle. In the chaos, King Huilog disappeared.
Under the hot-blooded Trolls’ control, Aeiros descended into war. Outraged at the Trolls’ tenacity, the Elves launched attacks at their outlying cities, leaving masses of Troll casualties in the wake of their formidable magic. They blamed the Humans for educating the Trolls in advanced weapons, and refused to make them an ally. In response, the Humans prepared to take the throne for themselves, believing the original and more level-headed race would be more fit to rule the country. Even the elusive dwarves joined the fray, emerging to back the humans with their masterful weaponry.
The chaos spread throughout the realm, encroaching onto the land belonging to the Halfbloods. Not belonging to any race, they could not find any place in the war, and are suffering tremendous losses. Many have left to join whichever armies are willing take them, believing they can end the fighting more quickly.
The once fruitful land of Aeiros is in ruin. Peace is a distant memory, and conflict is all some of the inhabitants know. It is up to you to help restore the realm. Are you up to the task?
Warchiefs & Kings is an upcoming Minecraft MMORPG experience. Our team strives to give you the best of Minecraft, from adventures, quests, guilds and story lines. We have some of the best and most passionate Minecrafters from the international community to build this new experience and create some of the most engaging quest lines, detailed locations and RPG Mechanics plugins. We will offer multiple skill trees for each class, guilds, party systems and unique loot generators for players to discover in our massive and immersive world. Warchiefs & Kings is a place where you can socialize, team up, create parties, guilds, quest together, solve dynamic puzzles, conquer kingdoms, raid dungeons and most importantly, explore!
Warchiefs and Kings takes place in a medieval fantasy world set in the backdrop of a war as five realms struggle to fight for control over their main kingdom, Aeiros. Peace is a rare commodity, except in the capital, Castano, as each kingdom has its own agenda and egoistic values.
Players that choose to be a part of a guild are able to take on a number of valuable roles; as a King you decide where to allocate your resources, which guilds to befriend and attack, who to keep by your side as a loyal counselor and who to exile. As an appointed general you decide if the benefits outway the risks of an attack, create strategic battle plans and purchase only the best NPC guards for your tactical command. You can hire high-skilled players to fight for you, but be weary for the cost of a guaranteed win is steep. Each guild has its own unique culture, lore, values, benefits, and resources. Guilds are only given to high classed roleplayers, and are not kingdoms. It is up to you to help set up trade routes and help the guild’s economy thrive. Send emissaries to cultivate everlasting relationships, send legions to conquer quests in your name, whilst gaining fame and riches for your guild. The world and lore will change according to the decisions you make. Be known as an honorable knight that fights courageously for his king, or, be as a conniving counselor that yearns for war. Be a fair and just king, or be an evil wrongdoer. The choices are yours!
Customization is always a key aspect of any RPG server. We believe in all styles of combat and would prefer to allow each player to choose their own distinctive style. With that in mind we have developed five unique races, each with their own specific base play-styles followed by multiple classes to choose from to further distinguish yourself.
Our exciting and creative classes offer vast amounts of offensive, defensive, and passive abilities. Charge head-on into battle or keep a certain distance from the battle and launch ranged attacks. Choose the abilities that relate to your playstyle and focus on upgrading them further. Eventually, it would be impossible to have similar players that’ll be alike through all of the possibilities.
Choosing your race is a crucial decision as it dictates the type of people you will meet, like and dislike. Each race belongs to its corresponding kingdom which gives the player access to unique resources, quests, advantages, disadvantages. For example, the Dwarfs are known for their craftsmanship, you can expect to see to see the mightiest weapons and tools from their kingdoms.
We recommend you to choose a guild to further your RP experience throughout your gameplay in W&K. To find out more, a complete history of each race can be found on our website’s wiki to better help your RP experience and help you decide your path.
One of the biggest challenges is making sure that the lore is sufficiently accessible for everyone that will play on the server without spending hours digging around to figure out what’s going on. At the same time, the lore needs to be interesting and complex enough that anyone who wants to look deeper into the story-line can have a rewarding experience doing so. Here at Warchiefs & Kings, we’re working very hard to create a fun lore experience for everyone. We’ve created many lores in such a way that you don’t have to read more than a few sentences to understand what’s going on, but if you want to, you can learn more and appreciate the world even better if you go in-depth and read all the materials.
Here are a number of sources from which we draw inspiration. Skyrim - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimis an action role-playing game, playable from either a first- or third-person perspective. The player may freely roam over the land of Skyrim, which is an open world environment consisting of wilderness expanses, dungeons, cities, towns and villages. These elements were taken and combined with WoW - World of Warcraft is an online game where players from around the world assume the roles of heroic fantasy characters and explore a virtual world full of mystery, magic, and endless adventures. These games skillfully combine history with fantasy to create an immersive, believable environment, much as we’re trying to accomplish here. Well, let us start off with talking about the elements of Skyrim. Skyrim provides many fun and immersive content to experience, such as realism, combat, outstanding structures, quests, story etc. On the other hand, WoW - World of Warcraft is an online game where players from around the world assume the roles of heroic fantasy characters and explore a virtual world full of mystery, magic, and endless adventure. We chose these themes to provide us the best fitting elements for our project which is in the stage of development, we plan to create a wide-range of possibilities such as custom plugins, huge maps for players to explore, non-monotonous quest lines, gears, magic, skills, leveling system etc. These elements can get any player WANTING to play in the server, people have done many RPG-related projects but end up executing the development to stall. But we believe that won't happen to us if we don't give up. We will make this a success.
Here's a sneak peak at our game design:
The Leveling System is a way to unlock crates, skills, and other perks.
All players start at level 1, or level I. Your level is displayed on the XP bar, or by typing ‘/level’ or ‘/xp’.
To gain up a level, you can:
Get ‘XP’ in Crates
Get a ‘level’ card from another player.
A level card is a way for players to buy/sell levels in the market. You can sell your own levels in the auction house. Just type ‘/note xp (amount of levels)’. If your level drops down below a point where you unlocked a skill, say, from 76 to 74, then you will regain automatically all of those skill points and that skill will be locked once again.
Every level, a player gets a skill point.
Every ten levels, a player gets a premium crate.
Every 25 levels, a player gets 150,000 in game currency.
Every 50 levels, a player get chance to spin for a rank. (If player has highest rank on the server, they can spin for crates, currency, or more.)
Punch (Activates Knockback I to Knockback III, depending on how many skill points are dedicated towards it.) [Starter Skill]
Healer (Activates Regeneration I to Regeneration II, depending on how many skill points are dedicated towards it.) [Starter Skill]
Smelter (When using this skill, all smelt times cut from 5% to 25% when using a furnace, depending on the amount of skills dedicated towards it.) [Starter Skill]
Strongman (Activates Strength I to Strength II, depending on how many skill points are dedicated towards it.) [Starter Skill]
Hopper (Jump Boost) [Level 10 Skill]
Aquamage (Water Breathing) [Level 10 Skill]
Firemage (All arrows become tipped with fire.) [Level 25 Skill]
Swordsmith (1%-5% chance for your sword to upgrade to a random better sword/axe/shovel) [Level 25 Skill]
Bowsmith (1%-5% chance for your bow to upgrade to a random better bow) [Level 25 Skill]
Reflector (10-25% chance of Invisibility I when you hit a player) [Level 50 Skill]
Skills are different enchantments that you can apply to your character, weapons, and items in game. When you level up, you are awarded a ‘skill’ point. When you level up a set milestone (10 levels, 20 levels, etc.), you unlock (a) new skill(s). You can ‘apply’ a skill point to a skill by clicking it in a GUI. If a skill doesn’t have any skill points, the skill is not active. The more skill points one skill has, the better effect it has. For example, let’s take the Hopper skill, which you unlock at level 10. This allows you to activate Jump Boost I for 1 skill point. Every other skill point you dedicate towards the Hopper skill will allow you to jump .2 more blocks. Meaning if you give 6 skill points toward the skill, you will have Jump Boost II. To look at your skills GUI, type /skills. When you execute said command, a 54 slot GUI will pop up, with a list of your available skills, an option to retake and reassign all of your skill points, and a list of skills you haven’t unlocked.
You can also buy skill points and receive skill points from voting crates.
The price for skill points will be 3.99 per skill point, and 14.99 for a bundle of five.
The Race And Class system is a Roleplay aspect of the server. Being in a specific race and/or class grants perks and other disadvantages against other players.
Elf | Dwarf | Human | Orc | Halfblood
Unless in a team, players of different races can hurt each other.
When trading money for whatever reason, if a player trades with a player of a different race, and at least one player isn’t a donator, a 7% fee will be taken off of the money. If the players are the same race, or one of the players is a donator, there will be no fee. (In order to comply with the EULA, in voting crates, there’s a rare chance to find a ‘perk package’ option, which removed the trade fee from a player’s trade, among other perks.)
There is an option in chat to chat only with your race, among globally, class (for donators, also included in ‘perk package’ upgrade), guild, and team. To see more look at the ‘CHAT’ page in the game design folder.
Castano is our capitol, home to different explorers of all sorts! You can find humans and trollsliving in harmony in our land. Ah been quite a while since I have seen the glorious Warchiefs & Kings. It was a year of total darkness for the oldies. I hope this new comeback will be a fruitful one, don't let it's name down Nathan. Looking forward to that W&K rerun. Try not to disappoint the community's expectations.
How long have you been playing minecraft?-I've been playing minecraft for about 5-6 years now. I got into it when the first uproar about this game came up and just haven't quit because of the endless possibilities, creativeness, and adventure to this game.
position applying for-Builder. Building is one of my favourite past times on minecraft and I have gotten pretty skilled over the years. I like to incorporate redstone and command blocks into most of my builds and love building with resource packs even more. I will have images of some of my work at the bottom.
Previous experience- I have built for a variety of servers and was a very trusted part of all their communities. Most of them have all went down though due to staff inactivity.
Skype-Will pm skype if accepted
Other notes-I recently learned the language of CSS and html and am currently working on learning java. I am partially bilangual in English and French. I also love servers like this so if I'm not accepted I would love to be a regular player instead I often forget to take screenshots of my work so there isn't much to show here.
I love to build in minecraft and if I can help out a server that sound so good like this one and make a few friends thats great! I've been building my current style for around a year now and I've been playing around with terraforming for even longer. I've only discovered how to do it with world edit recently though.
I'm a medieval builder. I've had quite a bit of experience in building for servers as I have been builder for may different small servers most of which have gone under.
Skype: I don't have skype but I do have Discord and teamspeak
I'm from Australia so I'm not sure if I will be able to be online at the same time as you.
Hello, and thanks for your potential interest in Warchiefs and Kings.
There are two problems with your application.
1) You don't have Skype. Please get it as soon as possible if you're interested in a position.
2) We're looking for well formatted applications of 100-200 words. We need to see that you are dedicated to this position.
Please fix these errors, and you'll be given a second chance.
