Imagine a playable map: 5k x 5k (Currently a flat open world) with a border (Block destroy / place is disabled on terrain). Players spawn with nothing but a Pick and Axe. To survive you have to farm resources like wood and nodes. Nodes are ores that randomly spawn on the surface which give various materials. There are also caches which spawn that give random resources and blueprints.
A blueprint could be an Iron Sword with a special tag that allows you to one-time learn it. While an item is a blueprint it loses all previous property's and can only be learned. The importance of blueprints are to unlock special crafting recipes which would previously be locked. This acts as a leveling system.
Bases / Structures are made through a selection of schematics. Each schematic is acquainted with 5 tiers of the same schematic. You can place and upgrade parts (schematics) for a defined price. Tiers modify the max-health of a part.
Players are able to only build around a center point called a core. When the core is destroyed the rest of the base disappears. A core is also used to add members to your base. The idea of making a strong base is to have as many walls to your loot so it takes longer for raiders to get it.
Slowly you are able to gain better blueprints and unlock better items, weapons (guns), and armor. You can refine your end game resources in a furnace and takeover the server with raiding power. Have fun, make a clan, and much more!
Everything I said have has already been made and only touches the surface in detail. If you are interested in my project please reply.
Thanks,
- Savant

What position are you applying for?
I am applying for A Server Management Position.
Do you have Discord/skype?:
Yes, I've used discord for 3 years now, My Skype is joshua.arbourne
How long can you play daily?
Currently, I can play for 4-5 hours a day.
How long have you played Minecraft?
I started In December 2011. Just 1 month after the official release.
How long have you played on the Destinon Network?
N/A, As I am unable to locate the IP Address.
Why do you want to become a staff member?
I would like to become a staff member because I feel that I could help make the community a better one. I believe that having a few staff on to greet new players is an important part of a server. This along with staff assisting new members, would make a great first impression on new members which can eventually lead to long-term members and donors. I see that the staff seem very close, and I believe becoming a staff member would let me become more involved in the community. I am a casual gamer and I genuinely enjoy helping others. I have extensive knowledge of server moderation, and I am interested in things under the IT field. I am taking classes for this, and I think server administration and plug-in management is a large aspect of growing minecraft servers. I am always looking to learn something about computers, and I believe staff and experience at Destinon could teach me a lot. I would enjoy learning about the behind the scene work, of what makes this server different and very fun.
What would you bring to the staff team and why should we choose you over anyone else?
I can bring experience, Dedication, Hard work, And fun to the staff team. And over the past years, These factors have grown in me, Improving my personality, And my inspiration to help others.
Do you have any staff experience?
Yes, I have had lots of experience with server moderation. Some of the servers I have been staff on were almost as big or a bit smaller than Reboot. The first server I would like to talk about is SpartanCraft. SpartanCraft was a server that launched about 2-3 years ago, when I was first starting Minecraft. I played on there everyday after school, and applied to be a moderator. Keep in mind, this server is a survival server. At the time, the server was averaging around 7-10 people on at a time, which was pretty big to me at the time. After I applied, I was accepted and was a moderator. I had thought of some good things to help benefit the server such as a few minigames like spleef and parkour. Because of me making the server more interesting not only to the regular player-base, but to the staff and owner as well, I earned myself Admin. Whilst my time being admin, I built a few PvP arenas and the server had started to gain more popularity. During my time of being Admin, the server hopped up to about 15 players on at a time and I was happy with the way the server was. Unfortunately, the server has since then shut down because of a bug that was found in some of the plugins.
The next server I would like to bring up is KillingZone. KillingZone was created about 1.5 years ago, a server that I had found on Planetminecraft. Once I joined the server, I played on there for about 1-3 months, then applied for the Helper position. I was logging on one day and found out that I had been promoted and I was enlivened. This was the first semi-large server that I had been staff on. At the time of my promotion, the server was averaging a steady 20-30 players. As the server grew over time and I helped, it grew at its max point containing 50 steady players. With 50 active players, there were only 4 staff members. The owner, an administrator, a moderator and a helper, being me. The only staff who were really active on the server was the moderator, myself and the owner. The administrator didn't seem to show up too often, I figured he was just doing plugin work. This server taught me how to stay calm while being barraged with questions and other things affiliated with the server. The server has since then shut down because the owner couldn't compile enough money to pay for the server bill.
The upcoming server I'd like to talk about is Daegonner. Daegonner launched in august of 2012 and I have played on it since then. When Daegonner first launched, it was averaging around 100 players at a time. I played on Daegonner almost everyday for around 2 years, given that I would go for a reset and come back. I was promoted to Helper soon after making my application. Daegonner has taught me how to deal with people who flame consistently and people who try to get a rise out of other people by insulting or other things like that. Daegonner is currently still up, and I am still staff on it, but it does not have very many players on.
The final server I would like to bring up has been my all-time favorite server to be staff on. This server was called Dragon-Storms PvP. On DragonStorms, I started playing around late 2013, early 2014. I played on this server consistently and showed that I was committed to helping the server grow and gain popularity. After applying on the forums when the server had around 40 players on, I was accepted. As the server grew, I grew into a more mature, helping person. At the beginning of my staffing term, I wasn't totally mature enough to handle some of the content that would come up on the server, but as time grew, my maturity level grew and I got to the point to where I could handle things that require a higher maturity level. I was promoted to moderator after proving that I was going to be consistently active and helping in the community. At this point, the server was averaging around 100 players and they were all fairly active. I was on at almost anytime that I could get on. Since the player to staff count was not proportionate, other staff were recruited. But during the time of not having very many staff, I had lots of people asking me questions, asking for Buycraft help and trying to get me to catch hackers. Through all this, I learned how to prioritize my issues, first starting with Buycraft help, then in-game server help, then going to inspect who was "hacking" at the PvP arena. I can use the prioritizing skills on reboot to help players who are in need. Soon after helping out for a long time, I was promoted to administrator and was given an immense job. My job was to increase the server's popularity with around $250 in donations. I decided I would buy an advertising slot on a Minecraft server listing website. The weekend I bought it, it was about $60 per hour and I rented the slot for 4 hours and returned $10 back to the owner. I will never forget that weekend. During that weekend, the popularity sky-rocketed from a descent 100 players to an enormous 200-250 players. All of the 8 staff members consisting of moderators and helpers were on to aid us administrators in helping.
Have you ever been temp banned/banned on our server or any other server? Don't lie we will find out:
At the time of writing this application, No.
Do you have a mic and recording software?:
Yes, I can record for the server to do anything from lets-play faction series to catching hackers. I use a paid application. Allowing me to record in great quality.

I am applying for A Server Management Position.

RustMC
RustMC is a uprising custom gamemode server. My idea is modeled after Facepunch's Rust©. We feel that we have a lot to offer to the Minecraft server community!
The Idea
Imagine a playable map: 5k x 5k (Currently a flat open world) with a border (Block destroy / place is disabled on terrain). Players spawn with nothing but a Pick and Axe. To survive you have to farm resources like wood and nodes. Nodes are ores that randomly spawn on the surface which give various materials.
