about you - Well I work at animal vet and I love to help animals and people. I would like to help this server to do great things on this server I am great at building. I had my own server for a long time and had like 200 players but I didn't have any staff and before I knew is my server was to much to handle. That is why I like to be staff on server so that the don't go down like the server I had.
Time online every day unless sick.
job - builder I see you have no builder so I can be one.
I've been Mod on one server and admin on another. I tend do play often but just having gone into freshmen year I might not be on as much as I would like to, I would still be very active though. I've been playing minecraft since I was like, 10 and have gotten pretty good at playing. I am also a very good builder and enjoy it a lot, so I could help out with that if need be.
Moderator
a. First I would help the player who was griefed fix their build by either having it rolled back, or manually giving them a hand. Then depending on how strict the server is with griefing I would either temp. ban, or permanently ban
b. I know the default game commands like most, towny and the simple world edit commands, but I tend to learn pretty fast with them if someone was to teach me what I needed to know.
c. I would mute them for about an hour, then if they continue kick them, if they continue I would give thm a temp. ban, the time would change depending on the things the were saying. If their poor behavior was to continue, I would ban them.
I hope you consider me as staff, I feel that I'm a very good candidate, thanks for considering.

Hello, my minecraft username is zoomian. I am 15 years old. I am applying for moderator or admin, whichever you decide is appropriate for me.
Why do I want to be a moderator/admin?
I generally am a person who wants to have a nice time on a server without griefers or hackers. Unfortunately, many servers seem to disappoint with their staff, and I don't want the same thing to happen to this server as well. I promise to be firm, kind, and fair if I am selected as admin. Admins must be familiar with the commands so I have included a commands section and a punishment chart.
Do I have a good understanding of the commands a moderator/admin uses?
Yes, I have memorized them in the time since my first app, and will list them below.
Punishment commands. These are also needed for the job, for without them, there would be no way to punish players for any wrongdoing. First, I will list the commands for banning, which are /ban, and /tempban.
When it is a small rule break or the culprit's first offence, /tempban is used. It is used similar to /ban only it also requires a time limit for the ban to be in effect for (an example would be /tempban mak 8h 30m, which would ban mak for 8 hours and 30 minutes. /ban is used in more extreme cases when a player deserves to be banned permanently from the server, and is simply used as /ban [player's username]. A good way to use it could be /ban Mr_Ichikuro, which would completely restrict Ichi's access from the server. (No idea why I would wanna do that XD)
If a player were to use alternate accounts to get around a ban, I could ban their ip address with /banip [ip address] so they cannot access the server with the specified ip.
In the event that a player was wrongly banned or made a ban appeal, I could use /unban [player's username] to pardon them and allow them access to the server again.
It is important to know that any command that uses time is compatible with w (weeks), d (days), h (hours), m (minutes), and s (seconds).
3. But before the bans start to be dished out, there should be ways to deal with little problems, right? These ways come in the form of jailing, muting, and kicking, three other ways of solving the server's problems.
First up is jailing. If I needed to punish a player without banning them, I could jail them using /jail [player's username] [jail type] [time]. An ideal example of jailing could be /jail TheNintengeek prison 1h 30m if he had made an medium offence.
In second place we have muting. In the event of a problem involving inappropriate language or spam, I could remove the player's messages from the chat box using the example /mute guttingamer 10m to mute Gucci for 10 minutes if he were the one who needed it.
Finally, in third, is kicking. Kicking a player using /kick [player's username] [reason] simply disconnects the player from the server with a reason if added to the command. An example could be /kick Seraphwing11 Derping, which would disconnect Seraph and tell him he was kicked for derping. XD
4. Now for some commands that don't fit into these categories, which range from flying to seeing others' inventories. Two of the more serious commands are "/invsee, which would allow me to check a player's inventory and see their stuff (great for finding stolen items), and/socialspy, which shows the user any private chat made through /msg, /tell, or /whisper, and prevents halted arguments from being continued through private chat.
And finally, the leisure commands, which may not be comepletely essential to the job, but are nice to have anyways. These include /fly, which allows a user to fly as if in creative mode, and /tp and /tphere which act exactly like their counterparts, /tpa and /tpahere, only they don't require a request, which is great for easily and efficiently teleporting to the scene of a grief. The tp command can also be used to teleport one player to another; for example, using /tp nyancat821 Lavender_Purple would teleport Nyan to Lav.
I think that about wraps it up for the commands, so let's get to the rest of the questions.
Will I be responsible, calm, mature, and trustworthy?
As shown by my behavior on the server as well as the forums, yes, of course I will! These traits are something everyone should have, especially staff.
Someone's house has been griefed! What do I do?
Upon hearing that WooooowZak has been griefed, I quickly rush to his place of dwelling using /tp WooooowZak, and check things out. Using /co inspect, I click on blocks to see who placed them, or place a block in a space to see who broke the block previously in that space. I check the surrounding premesis for any more griefing, and finding that it was istutt909 who griefed Zak, I deal out a punishment after rolling back the grief. For this grief, which was about 15 blocks, I would let him off with a warning, BUT! This was his second offence, which is not something to be proud of, so I give him about 1 hour in jail as punishment (/jail istutt909 prison 1h).
Punishments should be dealt accordingly to the severity of the grief.
1-20 blocks: The player gets off with a warning, but if it's a second or third time offence, they will be put in jail for about an hour.
21-50 blocks: An hour or two long jail would suffice for a smaller grief, while griefs of a severity a bit higher would be tempbanned for about a day or so.
51-75 blocks: Tempbans ranging from a day to 5 days would work well, depending on the grief's size and number of offence the vandal has made. But if it were a third time offence, they would probably be punished with a permban.
76-100+: A grief of this magnitude would deserve a tempban of about a week, while anything above around 100 blocks would require a permanent ban.
Some users are arguing! What do I do?
vayanui8 and Moveit77 are arguing, so I jump in and find the cause of the argument. As it turns out, vay and Move have had a grudge against eachother for a while, and now it's a heated argument. Knowing the cause of the disagreement, I'll try and reason with them to reach a compromise and work things out. If that works, than yay for all of us, but that doesn't always happen, now does it? In the event that I can't work out a solution, I'll warn them both to stop or face punishment. If that doesn't work (odeer these guys hate eachother XD), muting for a few minutes to let them cool off would work well. Buuuuut of course, some people won't stop even after a good muting, so that's when I resort to jailing. No matter what time they stop the argument, it would be a good idea to use /socialspy to see if they try dragging out their dispute through private messages. Hopefully they won't, but if they do, I'll deal out a muting jail combo attack! Only in a worst-case senario would I need to dish out tempbans, but not many arguments get that bad.
Someone entered another person's house without permission! What do I do?
First of all, I would teleport to the user in question, and ask why they're there. I find that nalawesomeness5 has entered the DCaff95's house. First I chesk to make sure nothing was griefed, then I ask Nal to leave the area, and warn him that raiding/griefing is against the rules. If I catch him in the house again, I'll warp him away from DCaff's house and warn him again. If any further breaking and entering continues, I'll put him in jail for a few minutes to teach him his lesson. But he might manage to find his way back when he's out of jail, and in that case, that's when I'll start using extended jail times and tempbanning.
This is my moderator/admin app, and I hope you pick me. Cheers, zoomian

Do you have a Mic: Yes
About You: I am currently enrolled in high school, but I enjoy playing some video-games and hanging out with friends when I'm available. My friends often describe me as a girl with many sides, as I can act mature, crazy, and serious within seconds. When I play games, I usually play Minecraft, which I spend on servers as a staff, but I have recently taken a break. However, I have been a staff member, with a total time of over a year. Most of my time was spent as an Admin, followed by Moderator. The positions I received ranged from Helper to Head-of-Staff, even an Owner.
Position Applying For: Administrator -- possibly a Head-of-Staff to help you sort through applicants.
Paste Questions A, B, and C below:
a. Can you manage plugins? Details.: Yes. If I am not familiar with a plugin, I am able to research until I am able to complete the task. Some examples of plugins I have managed are listed: Factions, mythic mobs, towny, coreprotect, prism, kitpvp, and more. I have recently learned Towny and Mythic mobs.
b. How familiar are you with the Multicraft Panel / FTP?: I am extremely familiar with it. This is due to my experience as an Owner. As an Owner, you must be extremely familiar with all of the Minecraft commands, including Console and FTP.
c. What days/hours will you be available?: On my weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), I am able to play a minimum of 2 hours, with a maximum of 4. However, on my free days (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), I am able to devote a minimum of 4 hours, with a maximum of 7. Times may vary on my schedule, but I will let you know if I am not able to come on for a day. These times do not include my time in skype and on the forums, which I am much more flexible with.
Contact (Skype Preferred): gisella.collins (skype) (I'm online most of the time, just tell me who you are so that I can accept)
Do you have a Mic: Yes, I do.
About You: I'm 15 years old, I live in Sydney, Australia, I'm a very confident Minecraft player, I've been playing since 2012 and first started on a skyblock server that I have played since then, I recently quit that server due to a new administrator that had been abusing his/her commands without the owners knowledge, he then corrupted the economy on the server by giving most people stacks upon stacks of emerald blocks, bedrock, sponge, and other items that are extremely rare (on that server) and so the whole server had to be reset, along with everybody's items.
Position Applying For: For the moment, I was wondering if you would like a forum administrator, I can't get onto Minecraft all of the time (blocked on my computer at the moment, but it will be unblocked soon), but, I'm on the internet for most of the day so I can be on the forums for basically 7+ hours a day, even during school (I can check it quickly and answer or fix any problems or questions etc.)
Monday = 7 + hours
Tuesday = 7 + hours
Wednesday = 7 + hours
Thursday = 5 + hours
Friday = 5 + hours
Saturday = 8 + hours
Sunday = 8 + hours
So basically thats the time that I can be online the forums.
I'm very good at setting up websites and creating different pages for different things, so if you don't need a forum administrator then I can help setup or add more to the website.

moderator questions:
a. How do you cope with griefers?
I can adapt to the way you want me to work, but personally i work on a 2 strike system,
the first time they greif i undo it and give them a warning, the second time, i either ban them temporarily
or ban them forever depending on how bad the greif is, luckily the server has a pretty good antigreif plugin
b. What plugins / commands are you familiar with in-game?
almost all the essential ones (the ones from essentials), world edit, anti greif plugins, pex, all that
good stuff, probably cant name them all off the top of my head though
c. In an event that a player is being hostile what is your way of handling the situation?
i try to reason, if i am legitimetly doing something wrong i will try to find what i am doing and stop it, but if someone
is being hostile just for the sake of being hostile im going to try to get them to stop, and if that does not work,

I had my own server for a long time and had like 200 players but I didn't have any staff and before I knew is my server was to much to handle. That is why I like to be staff on server so that the don't go down like the server I had.

Monday = 7 + hours
Tuesday = 7 + hours
Wednesday = 7 + hours
Thursday = 5 + hours
Friday = 5 + hours
Saturday = 8 + hours
Sunday = 8 + hours
So basically thats the time that I can be online the forums.
I'm very good at setting up websites and creating different pages for different things, so if you don't need a forum administrator then I can help setup or add more to the website.
Thanks <3
