I'm an adult playing minecraft single player for a bit now. I'm looking for co op multiplayer working together to survive and build. Not sure where to find such server or people but would like to. I'm not into all the mods just a mini map. Not against just don't know much about them all. Not into pvp at all. Just want to kill creepers and zombies not other minecrafters. If you know of any servers or are looking for the same let me know!
Yeah I saw your post earlier. Just not sure about having to download anything man. I have played on other multiplayer servers without the need to download anything. Whats the download for? Are you looking for co op help each other out?
am kinda the same but i got no idea how to add people or invite them into a game, its really boring to play alone and i want someone to play with aswell
Yeah, coop helping each other out. The download is just the config files and mods for the client. Otherwise it's the same vanilla experience I've grown tired of.
Same here, hosted a server back in 1.3. Stopped ever since. First time playing in a long time. If you're fine with downloading the client mods, the ip is 98.176.26.18:25565
JerHardee i'm not sure about mods explain a couple of the mods you have on what they do. I like just the normal vanilla but have a mini map mod. It would be fun to have a few people on a server working together!
Not against mods I just don't know any mod other then a mini map lol. That's all I use to help navigation. I'm just confused on the 1.6.4 isn't that a old version?
The mods I want to run just don't work well in newer versions. 1.6.4 is more stable for what I need it to do. It's only a few months old and the new features aren't compelling enough for me to want to deal with the trouble of getting evrything working.
Yeah just watched a video on that Tinkers Construct holy **** that is complex lol. I'm up for a 1.8 with maybe just like a map mod or something. Up to you man don't change what you do for me. I just don't want to go to 1.6.4.

I'm 18. I've been looking for people to play modded survival with all day. Already have a server running from my computer too.

note: You need to install forge 1.6.4 still.
well good i started no long ago and i got no idea how to connected to someone so if u may please, teach us how to make a normal server.
am on 1.8.3
To make a server, download a server.jar (ie. CraftBukkit, MCPC+, Vanilla).
2.Move the jar file to a folder for all your server files.
3.Run the jar with java. It will download any libraries or files you need.
4.Once it's running you still need to port forward so that people can connect from outside your home network.
To connect(Make sure you are running the same version of minecraft as the server and have the correct mods installed if needed)
1. Run minecraft
2. Go to multiplayer
3. Either direct connect or add server.
4. Enter server ip, select done.
5. Profit.
1.6.4.

1.6.4? Why not 1.8.3 Jerhardee I have 1.8
Tinkers Construct lets you make advanced tools.
Thermal Expansion, Buildcraft: Machinery and infrastructure
Optifine: FPS boost
Thaumcraft, Witchery: Magic and potions
JourneyMap: In game map
Those are the main mods. Not using them in no way negatively affects gameplay, but they can add to it if you do chose to use them.
Attached is a full list of mods being run
Do we have to run 1.6.4 to be on the server? I have 1.8.3
If modded survival is too much of a problem, I can just set up a vanilla 1.8.3 server.
The modded server requires 1.6.4 and forge-1.6.4.

Sure thing, Just started the server ip is 98.176.26.18:25565
I'm getting an "end of stream" on your server xP. I got the mods, did you port forward right?
