It's much better than before! I'd welcome you to the server, but you've already been. I'd also say hope to see you on the server, but you're on right now. So... Nice?
The texture packs we recommend are either Conquest or John Smith, but any texture pack will do I suppose. The most active timezone would be EST I think. We also have an event at 5 EST today!
Overall, it was a good application. However, there were some problems I saw that forced me to defer this attempt.
- There wasn't a great deal of development in the biography, I think. It just kind of went from being a street thug to wanting power. What's the driving force that made him greedy for power? He seemed so indifferent throughout the rest of his biography, but suddenly he was so passionate about something and it just didn't fit. I also expected something different than just going on about stealing, mugging and killing. You should have some peaceful events that happened in your character's life. Your character couldn't have lived without a single peaceful day in his life, could he?
- Your character hardly has any weaknesses. There were weaknesses, but it didn't balance out your character's great amount of strengths. I'm not saying your character should have more weaknesses than strengths, though that's truer with most, but make sure your character's properly balanced. Not winning fights using the cleanest methods still means he's winning the fight, yes? That's more a personality trait than a weakness.
- For the last ICR, your character worked odd jobs, so he definitely had a boss of sort. It isn't about morals, it's more about how your character would react if he was given a task that he didn't like, or found annoying. Get creative, your character can't be indifferent about everything.
Fix these up, and you should better than great! Contact me on Skype or via PM if you have any questions. Good luck!
Great job fixing your application. I actually forgot to mention that one of the lore questions, regarding who is proposing the expedition, was wrong. If you could edit that before you get on the server, that'd be great. Welcome to The Wayward Ones by Silver Gaming! Character Information
Name: Eric Sureblade
Age: 27
Class: Swordsman/Berserker
Physical description: Eric stands at about 6’3” and is obviously in good shape. He’s somewhere in between a weightlifter and a distance-runner in build. He wears simple, practicle clothes usually in dark colors. He has an air of smugness about him, and many may get the feeling that he isn’t the most trustworthy.
Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):
Eric was born and raised in a small city in Braxia, the son of a small-time guard with little to no prospect of advancement. Eric never did know his mother – died in childbirth he was told. He was more or less raised by a bunch of ill-mannered guards, spending most of his childhood in the barracks. Fighting was as natural to him as breathing. His first friend was a shortsword his dad passed onto him, too bent for any of the guards to use. He was probably about six then, and began proper swordplay lessons two years later, learning from Jacob Rix, one of the older (and more orderly) guards at the barracks. Eric picked up proper swordplay pretty quickly, but he was never satisfied with such a regimented and strict way of fighting. When he fought, he fought to win. Eric never paid any mind to the use of dirty tricks and “Cheating”. Thrown sand can be just as useful a weapon as a blade in hand, as can a well-placed kick to the groin.
Eric did have a few friends during his childhood days – mostly orphans who stole for a living. Eric was never the “Subtle” type, but he did help back them up occasionally when they were in a tough spot. He always did make sure to ask for repayment afterwards (a habit he’d later make a career out of). He probably got to know a good dozen boys, some older, some younger than himself, back when he lived in that city. He may have used the word “Friend,” but it never really fit. His only real friend was his blade.
While his father did teach him a lot, Eric was always sorely aware of the manner in which he was going nowhere. Eric’s father hadn’t advanced a single rank by the time Eric was fifteen. More often than not he’d come back from his patrols drunk. His father lacked ambition and wasn’t exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer if you know what I mean. It was due to this that Eric came to the conclusion that his mother must have been a fair deal smarter than his pa, though not THAT smart (She did still end up sleeping with the man after all). When Eric was nine he asked his father about it, but his father didn’t want to talk about it. Eric never asked about his mother again – he could see how much the mere memory of his mother hurt his father. He didn’t understand this whole “love” thing, but he was quite familiar with the pain it could bring. Messy business, this love thing.
When Eric was seventeen he left. No note, no goodbye to his father. He did consult Jacob a bit before his departure and was sure to tie up loose ends with the boys, but as soon as those were done he left. He had made a few contacts with minor nobles at the tavern he frequented – mostly people looking for skilled bodyguards. It wasn’t too tough for him to bounce between towns, looking for jobs as a sellsword. He made his share of enemies, but also a fair quantity of gold. Such is the life of Eric Sureblade – Good work, good fights and good ale. And occasionally getting slapped by women.
A couple months ago Eric took a job he prooobably shouldn’t have. Suffice it to say he did something a little less than legal and killed a nobleman a little more influential than Eric would have liked and… Well, Eric decided leaving the country was the most pragmatic course of action. The expedition was the perfect opportunity to do so.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To make a living in the new world. He figures there will be plenty of people in need of his services wherever it is we decide to settle down.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): Eric is exceedingly skilled in close-quarters combat, blending official sword-training with the clever tricks he’s picked up throughout his years as a sellsword. He’s relatively intelligent and knows both when to keep his nose out of something troublesome and when a particular venture might be very lucrative.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Eric isn’t exactly the best with other people. He’s been described as smug, condescending, arrogant, greedy, insensitive, untrustworthy, ill-mannered, blunt and occasionally “willing to commit murder for a gold-piece”. Suffice it to say, he isn’t the best with the ladies either.
In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)
Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home:
That job could have gone better. He should have known how many there’d be. He should have known how they were armored. He should have pulled back earlier. He should have been more cautious about clubs being swung at his ankle. Fracking thugs. He was lucky he got out of that mess alive. Sadly his employer hadn’t been quite so lucky. So much for THAT gig. Didn’t even have the gold to pay to get himself patched up. Luckily he knew a guy who might be able to do it cheap, and that’s where Eric decided to head. So that’s how Eric wound up limping down the streets in the middle of the night, trying to keep out of sight of the thugs that were more than likely still tailing him. Some days Eric really hates his job.
In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:
Eric had just finished a long, nasty job and he was tired and in need of a good drink. The last thing he wanted was some yahoo asking to fight him, before he’d even finished his first tankard.
“Yeah yeah, go screw yourself,” Eric mumbled into his drink, wishing the man would leave.
“WHAT’D YOU SAY, YOU LITTLE-“ the man never did finish his sentence, deciding that his fist was far more eloquent than his face (Eric thought his fist was probably prettier too). The burly man’s knuckles slammed square into Eric’s jaw.
After Eric recovered from the shock and the revelation that this man was probably weaker than the one he had fought off earlier the same day, he slowly turned to the man to size him up. A beast of a man, probably over 6’6”. Given the technique of the punch, he’d likely never had a day of formal training.
Eric spat some blood onto the ground. “Alright cupcake, how about we make this interesting? We take this outside and last one standing gets all the gold the other one has on ‘em.” After a moment of oafish contemplation, the other man accepted.
The two went out to the side yard and took their positions. The hulking man readied his fists and charged Eric. Eric drew his sword, ducked and swung at the man’s unarmored legs. The poorly timed swing only managed to take off one of them, at the knee. Still more than enough to end the fight, though. As the man screamed in agony, Eric quietly leaned down, grabbed his coin purse, and departed. With haste. He made a mental note not to come back to that tavern for a while.
Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:
“No, I will not try to seduce Risa to distract her from her bodyguard gig. Ain’t happin. Nuh-uh. I don’t feel like getting stabbed today.” (Yes, I am character linking with Risa)
Lore Questions

Questions or comments?: All hail the mighty Whitelisters. (Also, I’ll likely be making a VA for him after he’s accepted. Can’t be a very good sellsword without the ability to kill someone).

Character Information
Name: Raeya Yanaga
Age: 20
Class: Archer Specialist
Physical description: Shorter than average height with silvery blonde hair and deep grey eyes
Screen capture of your skin:
Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.): Raeya was born in a town in Braxia. She was the 2nd child and was more of an accident. She had an older brother of already 14 years by the time she was born. Still they kept her and raised her though unwillingly except for her brother who adored her. His friends were orphans who like him and his family, were poor and displeased with the officials who ran the town. He had no other friends from the more higher class citizens so he was heavily influenced by them and their uncouth ways. Nobody liked him except for the orphans and at times, their company was depressing so the addition of a younger sibling made him happier. Still he screwed up her life.
12 years later, Raeya's father, a merchant with a small business, fell apart and lost everything and the family was suddenly even poorer than before. Her brother's stealing became apparent to them but they tried their best to ignore it while earning money through legal methods. Soon they realised they would die of hunger if they did not get any money soon and they decided to sell their daughter. Realising he would lose his younger sister, he argued with his parents that he would provide a source of income. They refused knowing what he did and disapproved. In anger, he took a knife and stabbed both of them to death. He gave Raeya the lie that someone was chasing after them and they had to run. He brought her to his friends and they brought the brother and sister to their leader, the gang boss of the town.
Cutting throats and stealing gold, thats what her life became the moment her brother killed her parents. She had to be useful to the gang in order to be fed. The life of a criminal she was forced to take on. Her good brother disappeared replaced by a monster, now finally free of his parents and with the respect of the boss, he became the next boss. He had her learn to use the dagger and to kill, steal and lie for him. It was a tought experience. The recoil of her first kill as she stabbed the innocent merchant in the alley, she thought she could never feel right again but after the killing one, killing two or a thousand more was no problem. Even when she did a good job, her brother would hit her and punish her for a non-existant mistake to make sure she worked harder and feared him. This was the terrible life she led and she had no escape. Even if she did she had no where to go.
A year of this life passed and on that day, she was out on a job to convince a heavy borrower to hand over his overdue payment or die. She was not expecting him to retaliate and was knocked unconscious as he escaped from town and ran out of the reaches of the gang. Tasting bitter failure, she went reluctantly back to her brother and was punished harder than ever for letting the man slip away. Halfway while hitting her, the door to the hideout bursted open and in came a group of 6 armed men, holding longbows as they quickly sighted the thieves and bandits scattered around. Late to react, they fell in succession as barbed arrows pierced they unarmored bodies. Leaving her and her brother alive, the oldest of them, a man with steel gray hair and beard and grim eyes approached, an arrow nestled in his bow. Her brother, panicking at the sudden loss of his minions, tried to run. The man sighed silently, sighted the running figure and shot, taking away Raeya's last family member. Crouching down beside her, his eyes turned soft and friendly and he assured her that she was safe. The mercenary group did not associate her with the bandits.
With no where to go, she followed the oldest man, Aston as the group disbanded, having earned enough money from their recent contract of taking out her brother's group. Gladly taking her in, he treated her as if she were his own daughter. Retreating to his home in a countryfarm, she had the best time of her life there. Learning archery under the masterful Aston, the best marksman of his mercanery group, she also enjoyed having a life without worries, tilling the fields, free of planning someone's death and depriving another of their belongings.
This happy life ended 7 years later. Aston decided to call on his mercanary group again to earn more money through contracts. Bringing Raeya with him, he had her always out of danger and did he best to make sure she did not have to kill. Killing he said, is something she should never do unless necessary and even then it will change a person. Too late though, she had killed alot in her life as a criminal. It is now that life that will destroy her happy moment. While in another town resting with the group after a succesful contract of protecting a merchant caravan, Raeya found out that the caravan contained a specially crafted longbow, made by one of the best in the kingdom. Her old habit of taking things kicked in and when everyone went to bed, she removed the longbow from the caravan. The next day, the caravan master accused Aston for stealing his gift to the emperor and called in the town guards. They found the longbow in the room which Aston and Raeya shared. They had Aston arrested and tried. In the lack of much evidence, the lazy corrupt council called for his execution the next day.
The night before his execution, she and the mercanary group tried to rescue him. Lying to make them believe that Aston was framed, they followed her idea of breaking him out. They miraculously succeeded as the guards, bored that nothing ever happened, slept through the breakout. Upon leaving the town, Aston threw Raeya aside, now knowing she was part of the criminal group he destroyed a long time ago. Refusing to kill her, he told her never to come to him ever and also if she ever had a bounty on her head, he would not hesitate at that time to kill. Now alone once more with nothing but her dagger and longbow, she decided to leave Braxia, the place of bad memories and try to start afresh in the expedition.
Though not after going back to the town and killing the merchant, taking the prized longbow with her. This was all his fault.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To survive the new world.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): An expert longbow user and cunning to plan elaborate schemes.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Training with the longbow had caused her earlier knife skills to degrade and she only uses the dagger to silently kill or finish dying people off. She can be rather quiet and rude when she tries to converse with people. She also can not take jokes and insults very well and starts fights easily.
In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)
Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home: Cursing herself for her clumsiness, she accidently missed a step and fell down the stairs, landing on her broken ankle. Unable to hold a scream of pain, she loudly accused herself of not noticing small depression behind her in the battle. While retreating, unprepared for the sudden drop, she tripped on found herself face to face with the angry bandit as he raised his club to avenge his dead, arrow-ridden breathen. Lifting her leg as high as she could to block the club, her ankle was broken badly. The bandit, preparing for a second strike, was stopped as her dagger came up and pierced a hole through his throat.
Now remembering this, she realised she could have done nothing to stop this painful injury. Getting back up on her fight, she hobbled off to her home where she decided she would rest for a long time.
In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her: Without the superior power of her longbow to help her, Raeya tries to talk to the man calmly while keeping her anger at his insolence boliing inside her. "I think I am too weak for you, after all you are very strong and will win so why bother to fight?"
"You are pansy. Girl should not come into a big man's place."
Leaving her seat without arguement, she left the tavern and the moment she closed the door, she was met with humilating boos and laughter. Picking up her longbow and arrows from where they were hidden in the stable, she waited across the tavern in the dark alley waiting for the stranger to come out.
Hours passed and he finally came out, drunk and releasing his last laugh as an arrow found its mark in his throat.
Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing: "You would have me kill an innocent man?", Raeya silently questioned.
"You have killed many before. How would this be different." the shadow replied from across the table.
"I am different now. The past is in the past." Raeya lowered her voice suitably to show that the topic was not to be discussed.
"Ah of course. People change. You are different. Your wallet is still the same. Empty. This is the only high paying contract you will find in quite a while and I am not asking much am I?" the shadow laughed deviously, knowing she would have no choice to accept unless she was willing to suffer hunger."
Faced with the dilema, she finally made her choice. Knowing that this man had no friends too powerful to make her worried, she reached for her dagger and prepared to kill.

Have you read and agreed to both the rules and the lore of the server?: Yesssss I have.
What is the definition of “Powergaming”?: When you force RP upon someone, for example “complete” an action on their character that you don’t allow their character to respond to. I.E “Emma stabs Herschel multiple times before he slumps to the floor unconscious”.
What is the definition of “Metagaming”?: Using OOC knowledge IC. If you have something you know that doesn’t mean your character should know it as well. Your character only knows of things that they’ve heard of IC, not anything you’ve heard of OOC.
What is the definition of “Roleplay”?: Taking the role of someone else, who isn’t you.
Who can use flymod, X-ray and other such clientsided mods?: No-one.
When are you allowed to cause the death of another character?: When they have agreed with you to do so.
When are you allowed to speak out of character?: If you have something essential to say, you can put it in parentheses. Otherwise it is best to keep OOC talk for the OOC channel, or just private messaging. You should keep OOC chat to the minimum though, as you’re mainly here to RP.
Do you have any previous RP experience, Minecraft or elsewhere? Yupppp.
Character Information
Name: Emmaline “Emma” Oakley
Age: 38
Class: Farmer
Physical description: Emma has long, dark brown hair that curls at the end. She has a slightly odd shade of blue as her eye color, though it doesn’t usually stand out. She usually wears clothes that fit work on the field, which would include torn pants and perhaps an old shirt. On some days though, she wears a clean white shirt when she isn’t working.
Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.): Emma Oakley lived in Cape Town all her life. Was born and raised there, married a man from them. It was.. Quaint, if nothing else. When she was 19, she married Herschel Oakley, a blacksmith that was the best in their small city. By age 20, She was pregnant with a boy. Herschel provided nicely for them, until the time that Braxia came around looking for recruits. Herschel put down his hammer, and picked up a sword. It was a year before Emma had any notion that Herschel was still alive. He never wrote a letter, nor was there a peep of his whereabouts. Thus, Emma decided to move on. She needed someone to help her support their son, and their house.
Emma met, and became infatuated with a devout man named Richard VuMall. She became pregnant, before the two had a chance to tie the knot. So they decided to wait till she had given birth before the two would get married. Some time after the birth, Richard was in the city making some purchases for supper when the front door banged up. “Emmaline!” A voice called from below. Emma sat frozen in her bed. Someone bounded up the steps. She could hear the large, leather boots causing the stairs to groan. The door burst open and there stood Hershel, looking ragged and war-worn. He looked at her peculiarly, then at the small crib that was next to her bed. He walked up to it, looking down at the tiny girl inside.
“Emmaline… What’s this?” Herschel pointed to the small girl before looking over at her. Emma grit her teeth, standing out of the bed to her full height, which was nothing compared to Herschel’s. “Almost two years!” She cried out, putting her hands on her hips. “You left me with o-.. Two children to take care of!” Herschel looked shock, before looking down at the baby girl. “She’s… mine’s?” He asked, as he carefully picked up the fragile bundle. “Don’t you dare lay a hand on her!” Emma cried out, taking the child away from him. “You don’t even deserve to be here. Do you have any idea of what I’ve been through, having to take care of the farm, of our children?” By this time, Emma was sobbing, holding the small girl.
“I’m so sorry, lassy.” Herschel started to say. Emma put a hand up to stop him as she slowly sat down on the bed. “It’s..It’s just been so tough without you, and two kids..” Emma mumbled, looking at him as he sat next to her. “I know, lass, but I’m here now. Had I known you were up da duff.. Well, I would’ve never left.” Later on, when Richard came back around, Emma broke things off with him, claiming that the child had died while he was gone. In her ‘grief’, she told him to never come back, and to leave the city because he reminds her so much of their lost child.
Years past, and the two children grew up happily in the home. The time came around when Serra, their daughter, was turning seventeen. Their boy was going to turn 19 in a few months. Emma couldn’t live with the knowledge that she knew about Serra’s biological father. She took the two into a room, before telling them the news. Serra was extremely pale after she found out, and once Emma had finished telling them, Serra ran out of the room.
It wasn’t till morning, when Emma called for Serra to come downstairs, that she realized that Serra had run off. They looked for weeks before word got to them that she had joined the expedition and was in Roland’s Field. Packing up her stuff, Emma started the journey to Roland’s field, with every intention of bringing Serra back home.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): Her main goal for now would be to bring Serra back home, or to otherwise ensure the safety of her child. Her overall goal would be to ensure the safety of her whole family, and to solve any conflicts that come along. It’s quite vague.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): Emma is not afraid to hide what she is thinking or feeling. She’s fast with words, though sometimes she might say something out of line. She has a strong trust/belief in certain things, and she isn’t one to have her trust broken easily (though it has happened before). She usually tries to take action in benefitting the majority of those around her, instead of not doing anything but living comfortably herself. Due to her life working in the fields, she’s in good physical shape and easily completes chores around the house.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness): Due to the fact that Emma is not afraid of hiding what she feels or thinks, she usually ends up overreacting to a lot of things. Sudden bursts of emotion are not uncommon, and you could even say that she has tantrums every now and then. She can be stubborn due to the trust she has in certain things, and may argue until someone becomes unable to continue for one reason or another. Sometimes her actions cause her to end up in trouble, as you may have noticed, even though she may have done something only for the benefit of others. Though she is in good physical strength overall, she is mainly only capable of completing chores that need strength, and not those that need agility or speed. She’s clumsy and slow.
In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)
Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home: “Frak!” Emma shouts out in pain, as she limps down the street, ignoring the judgemental or otherwise cruel glances pointed towards her by those standing among the streets. She tries to numb out some of the pain by biting into her lip, but she only ends up creating another wound, though not as major. Quickly dabbing at her lip, she tries to wipe away the small amount of blood. “Ah…” she whimpers slightly, trying to ignore her bodies pleas against any movement. Giving in, she leans against a wall, resting her head on the cold material for a split moment before continuing on. Serra and Adam were waiting for her.
In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her: “Listen, I have no interest in someone like you.” She points out, making her thoughts clear to the woman. “If you think I’m competition for whatever business you’re running here, you’re wrong. I have only one man that I need.” She mutters, though her expression doesn’t seem very assuring. Standing up with haste, she leaves before anything actually begins.
Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing: “Listen, can’t you have someone else do this? I’m sure there is at least one other person out there who is available for this task. Frankly, I don’t care for it myself.” Emma states, looking at her superior in a stern manner. She stands straight, keeping her posture, and waits for the reply.
When the superior tells her that she better get it done or she’ll pay for it, she decides it’s better to get it over and done with. She already stated her mind, and she didn’t have the wealth to get into an argument that could cost her her income.

Good job on the application. I will warn you that you may no longer play as Flonne, seeing as how she has had an IC reason to leave Roland's Field.
MiraMuru:
Also a good job on the application. It was a little shaky, such as the short ICRs, but it's nothing that's worth a deferral. However, and I will also clear this up for Sukii, Serra is 16 according to the application she applied with. Unless she left a day before her birthday, she is still 16. Anyways, welcome back! Have you read and agreed to both the rules and the lore of the server?: Yes.
What is the definition of “Powergaming”?: Powergaming is forcing an action onto another player or setting the terms of the RP to benefit yourself. An example would be “Mark stabs James in the chest and kills him,” as it doesn’t give James a chance to react and Mark is controlling what happens.
What is the definition of “Metagaming”?: Metagaming is using OOC knowledge to benefit you IC. An example would be reading the Skype chat to find out where X keeps his chests hidden in his house.
What is the definition of “Roleplay”?: Roleplaying is all the fun of acting without the required dress rehearsals and the washed-up Hollywood actor teaching a class that has no interest in acting and just wants the Fine Arts credit so they can continue their degrees. But basically, Roleplaying is taking on the “Role” of a character and acting, speaking, and thinking in the way they would, rather than what you would do.
Who can use flymod, X-ray and other such clientsided mods?: No one.
When are you allowed to cause the death of another character?: When you have the necessary VA/VAA, the death makes sense in context, and/or the person consents to it.
When are you allowed to speak out of character?: In the OOC Channel or by using (( OOC SPEECH)) .
Do you have any previous RP experience, Minecraft or elsewhere? Was on this one server, Anerian Chronicles once, fun times.

Name: Bandero Estrella
Age: 36
Class: Berserker/Farmer
Physical description: Senior Estrella is an imposing 6’2 mass of muscle with dark hair and green eyes.
Screen capture of your skin:
Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):
Before coming to Braxia, Bandero worked as a privateer in the City State of Vaerdezzio. The high volume of merchant ships moving near the bay made them easy prey for his crew, and there was a good amount of coin to be made in the marauding business. Bandero commanded a medium-sized group of raiders of varied backgrounds, and Bandero himself originally started as the son of a farmer/fisherman who wanted to earn a better life. Privateering gave Bandero an opportunity for wealth he never had as a farmer, and over the years he became very skilled at clearing the decks of galleons. Things were going relatively well for Bandero until his crew took a high risk job attacking a convoy from Guyre. The galleon was escorted by two galleys, which Bandero’s men easy dispatched, but the galleon itself was heavily defended and unbeknownst to Bandero’s crew, two more Guyrese galleons intercepted their raid. The end result was the majority of Bandero’s crew were slaughtered and Bandero barely escaped with his life by jumping from the galleon and swimming a few miles to shore.
A few years later, Bandero had traveled to Braxia and set up shop there to hide out from the Guyrese navy. Years passed and he thought he had made a clean getaway, when one day he was ambushed by mercenaries who were pursuing a bounty on his head. As it turned out, some of his crew members were captured and revealed his identity, and Guyre placed a bounty upon his head. After realizing he would be in constant danger so long as that bounty was on his head, Bandero decided he had to flee to somewhere isolated. He discovered an advertisement for an expedition to “Roland’s Field,” as part of Braxia’s colonial expansion, and decided this expedition would allow him to disappear.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To disappear from the eyes of bounty hunters, and to live his life in peace.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): Bandero is very physically strong and perceptive. He also excels during hardship and high stress situations. He is also a skilled navigator, farmer and fisherman.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.): Bandero has a hair-trigger temper and can be set off very easily. Usually when he’s very angry, he’s easy to take advantage of combat wise. Likewise, he is ignorant of many things and attempts to cover it up with arrogance.
In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)
Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home: Bandero sat against a cobblestone wall as he pried his boot off carefully. Pain shot up his leg as he examined the wound. His ankle was swollen and had blackened, it most likely fractured when he jumped from the building to escape the mercenaries, but he wouldn’t know for sure until he had a physician examine it. “This…makes things difficult” Bandero whispered to himself. Out of the corner of his eye he saw two of the mercenaries from earlier look down the alley-way. They couldn’t see him, and they turned and went the other way. He had lost them for now, but if he didn’t find his hiding spot soon, the guards would be the real problem.
He reached down and picked up a plank of wood next to him. With a little effort he could fashion a split out of the plank and unbuckled his belt to try and attach his leg to it. It was highly uncomfortable, but then again so was walking on a broken ankle. He lifted himself up and began hoveling down the alley as silent as he could.
In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her: It was an average night at the inn. One bloke had already tried to shake him down and ended up with a broken nose, and now another one was threatening him for “disturbin’ him,” whatever that meant. Bandero flexed his fingers and stroked the knife he kept in his back holster. If he wanted to, he could easily take this man out quicker than an unsuspecting Empiracle navy crewman, but he knew he wasn’t worth it. Instead, Bandero stared the man down and in a menacing voice ordered him to back off. He didn’t.
Bandero stood up and laid his hand on the man’s shoulder. The man was no longer threatening him, but instead, trembling. “I…I’ll leave you to yer business,” he whimpered as he backed away. Bandero gave him a glare and a nod, and went back to his drink.
Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing: Work was hard to find in Braxia for an outsider, so Bandero should have counted himself fortunate to have been hired to work on a large cotton plantation. Unfortunately, his manager was the largest annoyance he had to deal with on a day to day basis, and had ordered him to shovel the trash heap. “You don’t have anyone more qualified to deal with this?” Bandero stated.
“Qualified? Pffft” The manager snickered. “That’s what you’re here for, foreigner. It’s either this or you can go back to being a vagrant.”
The arrogant supremacy in the man’s voice annoyed Bandero. In his privateer days he laugh as high-and-mighty officers similar to him would beg for their lives. Usually, he’d let them keep it in exchange for everything on the ship, a fair trade in Bandero’s book. But here, there was no ship for Bandero to retreat to and sail away on. There were real consequences in store for him if he made a scene. He weigh the pros and cons of smacking his manager upside the head with a shovel and ultimately decided it was not worth the jail time. He then begrudgingly began to shovel trash, all while maintaining a scowl at his manager.
Lore Questions
List three causes for the fall of the Empiracle:
1) Constant warfare with Guyre
2) Losing its capital and many of its important ports to Guyre
3) Internal strife
Who is proposing an expedition to the western lands?: Braxia under Overlord Rauric III
Where is the expedition to be launched from?: Launched from Rocky Cape, but the rally point is at Roland’s Field.
First of all, we're happy to have you back, Vanity! I'm guessing school is out for you. While almost every part of your application was perfect, there was a few aspects that caused me to defer you.
- Your biography was lacking in some of the personal aspects of your character. Stuff like family/friends, relationships, schooling, just personal that should be briefly touched upon, or a non-action packed event that was a defining moment in Senior Estrella's life. You could even explain why he thought privateering was the best profession. Just simple details that really explain your character.
Here's my app again with the necessary changes. Hopefully they are acceptable.

Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):
Born as the son of a deadbeat farmer outside of Vaerdezzio, Bandero never had high expectations for his life. He worked tirelessly with his three sisters and mother in the field every day, only for most of the potential profit they made off their crops to go to their fathers drinking habits. As a lower-class farmer, Bandero never had the funds to educate himself in a formal school setting and had to rely on the local church for his education. There he met priests adorned in fine silk robes, surrounded by gold and silver, and yet, while they preached of helping the less fortunate, they were awfully keen on holding onto their luxury goods. To Bandero, they seemed like hypocrites and snobs. He grew frustrated with his situation and felt there was no way out. One day, he overheard a group of guards complaining about the recent privateering incidents on the high seas. He listened intently, especially towards the amount of money that had been “lost” to the pirates. Afterwards, he decided he wanted to pursue privateering to escape his financial situation. He figured with his physical strength, it wouldn’t be too hard.
A fear years later, Bandero worked as a privateer in the City State of Vaerdezzio and had established his own rag-tag crew of raiders. The high volume of merchant ships moving near the bay made them easy prey for his crew, and there was a good amount of coin to be made in the marauding business. Bandero’s medium-sized group of raiders had plenty of success of in the past few years hitting unescorted merchant ships, and Bandero enjoyed it. Privateering gave Bandero an opportunity for wealth he never had as a farmer, and over the years he became very skilled at clearing the decks of galleons. Things were going relatively well for Bandero until his crew took a high risk job attacking a convoy from Guyre. It's much better than before! I'd welcome you to the server, but you've already been. I'd also say hope to see you on the server, but you're on right now. So... Nice?
TheKiDnamedCudi:

Check out our website at http://silvergaming.enjin.com for news, updates, IC Threads and more! I'll whitelist you soon.

Screen capture of your skin: http://www.planetmin...knight-1259015/

Character Information
Name: Raeya Yanaga
Age: 20
Class: Archer Specialist
Physical description: Shorter than average height with silvery blonde hair and deep grey eyes
Screen capture of your skin:
Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):
Raeya was born in a town in Braxia.

Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home:
Cursing herself for her clumsiness, she accidently missed a step and fell down the stairs, landing on her broken ankle.
In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:
Without the superior power of her longbow to help her, Raeya tries to talk to the man calmly while keeping her anger at his insolence boliing inside her.
Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:
"You would have me kill an innocent man?", Raeya silently questioned.

Have you read and agreed to both the rules and the lore of the server?:
Yesssss I have.
What is the definition of “Powergaming”?:
When you force RP upon someone, for example “complete” an action on their character that you don’t allow their character to respond to. I.E “Emma stabs Herschel multiple times before he slumps to the floor unconscious”.
What is the definition of “Metagaming”?:
Using OOC knowledge IC. If you have something you know that doesn’t mean your character should know it as well. Your character only knows of things that they’ve heard of IC, not anything you’ve heard of OOC.
What is the definition of “Roleplay”?:
Taking the role of someone else, who isn’t you.
Who can use flymod, X-ray and other such clientsided mods?:
No-one.
When are you allowed to cause the death of another character?:
When they have agreed with you to do so.
When are you allowed to speak out of character?:
If you have something essential to say, you can put it in parentheses.
Physical description:
Emma has long, dark brown hair that curls at the end.

No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):
Emma Oakley lived in Cape Town all her life.
Well, I would’ve never left.”
Later on, when Richard came back around, Emma broke things off with him, claiming that the child had died while he was gone.
(Motivation):
Her main goal for now would be to bring Serra back home, or to otherwise ensure the safety of her child. Her overall goal would be to ensure the safety of her whole family, and to solve any conflicts that come along. It’s quite vague.
Strengths (Both physical and personality):
Emma is not afraid to hide what she is thinking or feeling.
Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness):
Due to the fact that Emma is not afraid of hiding what she feels or thinks, she usually ends up overreacting to a lot of things.
Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home:
“Frak!” Emma shouts out in pain, as she limps down the street, ignoring the judgemental or otherwise cruel glances pointed towards her by those standing among the streets.
In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:
“Listen, I have no interest in someone like you.” She points out, making her thoughts clear to the woman. “If you think I’m competition for whatever business you’re running here, you’re wrong. I have only one man that I need.” She mutters, though her expression doesn’t seem very assuring. Standing up with haste, she leaves before anything actually begins.
Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:
“Listen, can’t you have someone else do this? I’m sure there is at least one other person out there who is available for this task. Frankly, I don’t care for it myself.” Emma states, looking at her superior in a stern manner. She stands straight, keeping her posture, and waits for the reply.
When the superior tells her that she better get it done or she’ll pay for it, she decides it’s better to get it over and done with. She already stated her mind, and she didn’t have the wealth to get into an argument that could cost her her income.

Character Information

Kriegger/Vanity:
First of all, we're happy to have you back, Vanity! I'm guessing school is out for you. While almost every part of your application was perfect, there was a few aspects that caused me to defer you.
- Your biography was lacking in some of the personal aspects of your character. Stuff like family/friends, relationships, schooling, just personal that should be briefly touched upon, or a non-action packed event that was a defining moment in Senior Estrella's life. You could even explain why he thought privateering was the best profession. Just simple details that really explain your character.
Fix that up and you should be golden! Good luck!
