I feel like Ambrus really won't care. He is mostly a normal guy, except when it comes to numbers. He is a bit absentminded though, so don't expect him to start any conversations.

He wears a brown coat, with a blue shirt under it. He wears grey pants, and brown boots. He carries a sword at his waist, and two daggers strapped to the outside of his forearms, hidden by the sleeves of the trench coat, so he can use them to block weapons, or even fists, without even drawing the knives. Biography (Minimum 400 words. Cannot include loved ones being killed, kidnapped, tortured, or the like, unless you can do it in a non-cliche manner.):
Falco doesn’t remember his parents, and doesn’t care to meet them. He was left on the streets around age four. He doesn’t remember much from the streets, so all he remembers of his childhood is the orphanage. This orphanage was the worst thing that could have happened to Falco in his young life. This particular orphanage was a bit different than other orphanages. The orphans were not allowed off the grounds of the orphanage, and were trained to be future mercenaries. When the orphanage picked him up, he looked about six years old, so that’s what they called him, although no one really knew. The children were taught normal things, such as how to read and write, but were also taught to fight. The training was extremely harsh, and Falco hated it, although he excelled. Seen as too emotional by the trainers, Falco was often harshly punished, until he learned to almost kill his emotions. Falco found solace in books, where he could escape the life he lead, and become someone else, even if only for a short time. By the time Falco was 16; he could outfight the older orphans easily, and read better than most adults at the orphanage. It was at this time that the orphanage caught on fire, and, using the confusion and chaos that ensued, Falco escaped. Falco, not knowing where he was, as he was not let out of the orphanage for 10 years, wandered aimlessly, and hopelessly lost. After a few days, he ran out of his food supplies, and passed out on the side of the road. When he awoke, he was in a wagon full of supplies. A large man looked over at him and said “Oh, you’re awake.” The man then proceeded to explain that he was a blacksmith, and was traveling around, looking for the best iron to work with. When Falco explained his situation to the blacksmith, the man kindly offered to take Falco along with him, and teach him his trade, in return for keeping him company on the long journey. Falco accepted this offer graciously.
The blacksmith and Falco traveled for four years, before the blacksmith decided it was time to return to the capitol. At this point, Falco was as good of a blacksmith as the man, and perhaps even better at making weapons, and still better at using them; as Falco had continued his exercises and weapons training, in order to protect himself and the blacksmith. Falco had also been adopted by the blacksmith, and took the last name “Silven”. But, at this point the blacksmith was fairly old, and on the journey to the capitol, the man fell sick and died. With no real goal, or destination for himself, he decided to continue to the capitol on his own, and start a blacksmithing shop, putting the training that he received over the last four years to good use.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):
To open a small blacksmith shop.
Strengths (Both physical and personality):
Very strong, much stronger than he looks, and is very smart. He has great combat ability, although he doesn’t like to use it.
Weaknesses (Both physical and personality):
Falco is very poor at expressing his emotions, which would be a slight problem in itself, but for the fact that he freaks out about books. For example, even if he hears someone mention books in passing, his head snaps up and he starts listening. On the flipside, if he sees someone mistreating books, he snaps. As in he would probably start a fight over it. He also has a strong sense of justice, which could get him in trouble, and there is a possibility that his sense of justice and love of books could conflict.
Will your character likely join an existing faction? If so, which? If not, why not?:
Probably not, as he really is not interested in much, besides blacksmithing, and books.
Does your character have any connections to currently-existing characters or characters yet to be accepted? If so, which? (See “Character Linking Aid”. Please post a link to the topic.):
Nope!
In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation.Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)

*Falco sees the two guards harassing the young girl, who is backed up against a wall, and reacts instantly, deciding to take justice into his own hands
*he silently stalks towards the two thuggish men, who have their back turned to him.
*Falco silently grabs the back of the two mens heads, and without changing his expression, quickly slams their heads into the wall, knocking them out.
*Falco then quickly and quietly walks away, before the girl even had a chance to thank him
A man approaches you with a proposition - Go to Bloodstone and retrieve something for him, and you will be well rewarded.
“a waste of my time” Falco thinks, and silently shakes his head “no” at the man.
The man mutters “How am I going to get my book now?”
*Falco’s head whips around at the mention of a book, then yells “I’LL DO IT!!” at the man, then runs off, out of the building.
You pass an old man lying on the side of the street, begging for food.
*as he passes by, he silently flips a few coins to the man, and walks off, not giving the man an opportunity to thank him.
In a tavern, a slightly inebriated fellow insults your mother.
*Falco turns his head slightly and looks at the man.
*stares coldly at the man, until the man unconsciously backs up a few steps
*turns his head back to his drink, pointedly ignoring the man
You take a liking to a beautiful necklace a passing woman wears.
*Quickly analyzes the make and quality of the necklace and considers the option of starting to make jewelry.
*he quickly laughs to himself at that and thinks “I don’t have the kind of skills to make jewelry, I should focus on my own specialty, arms and armor”
*calmly walks off
Do you have any questions about the server or our lore?
nope
Other notes:
sorry, my character is very quiet. His conversations are usually short, if there is a conversation at all.
Anyways, how does everyone think their character will react to the other ones? I know Collier will HATE half of everyone, especially the members of the council, church, and academy, and have no feelings towards the other half.
Council, Church and Academy... That's basically every authority on the server. Bit of a rebel, there?
Arthon's naturally trusting, though that does occasionally get him into trouble. His default reaction to most people will be one of friendliness, mixed with his usual brand of awkwardness. He and Ravitz will of course be rivals, as can be seen from Tsev and I's thread in the IC section of our forums. I already know a few characters will be enrolling at the Academy as soon as possible, which Arthon will be thrilled about.
Tatertot8888,
this was a bit of a close shave, not for a bad app, but because we think your character may be slightly too badass for a craftsman. However, I think that you can role play well, and that you will be careful not to be OP in game. So welcome to the server, I hope to see you there!
Heh. My character is a very friendly person. . Unlike all my other characters from BoH and SotA. Although, one question. Do I get to speak like a pirate because i'll be driving an airship xD? Aye matey, cap'n, shiver me timbers!.. and that's all I know.
Keelhaul 'em, to the mizzenmast, port, starboard, fear the cat o' nine tails, bucklin' in his bootstraps, and more stuff like that. Just be as stereotypical as possible, and it'll ALL work out. Probably.

Don't forget about that Arys - Ravitz semi-awkward encounter that will occur at some point. Maybe some Alchemy/Magic RP battles of awesome!
Oh yeah! What DOES Arys think about Ravitz and the Church?
I can say that when Arys left Brightwater, all of the pressures to be a priest by the town were pushed onto Ravitz. Ravitz has some discontent towards Ayrs, partially because whatever Ravitz life could have been was forever changed when Ayrs ran away. Not to mention Ravitz really looked up to Ayrs as a small boy.

Oh my! I had NO CLUE any of that was going on. We got ourselves a varitable drama afoot. That ought to make for some pretty dang juicy RP confrontations down the line.

Who are the Fallen?: A race of generally superstitious, peaceful people on their own floating island that recently stopped near the Anerians’.
When and how did our current government come to be?: The prophet of the Church, Kaldun, organized the assassination of the monarch, and ended up getting the Church a very bad name. Tybalt Bennet, the Warden of the East at the time, organized his own rebellion against the Linyera dynasty, defeating them in the battle on the Plains of Raun. Bennet sets up his own government with a chancellor (naturally, it was Bennet), and three Masters of Sword, Coin and Word in 169 A.R.
Who are the Order of Aradin?: A now weak group of people formed to protect the Chancellor and address the threat of Bloodstone Island.
What are the Net and Essence?: The Net is a magical force that, when a being falls off the islands, teleports them back onto the nearest land. It will also take any non-living materials back, too, if the victim has a certain amount of Essence, which is a simple, but not very versatile form of Mana that anyone can use. Essence can be stored in emeralds, which can be used as currency.
What previous roleplay experience have you had, if any?: All other roleplay experience has been on SA servers.
If you have played on other RP servers, please say which and why you left: Silver Age ended in a necromancer’s dream, and I left Book of Halegron because I have very little free time and had recently obtained a wonderful thing known as Team Fortress 2.
Character Information
Name: Ultan Boras
Age: 22
Class: Craftsman, works as a blacksmith (I miss Djeck, ok?)
Physical description: White guy with dark brown hair, an epic beard, and dark green eyes.
Screen capture of your skin:
Biography (Minimum 400 words. Cannot include loved ones being killed, kidnapped, tortured, or the like, unless you can do it in a non-cliche manner.): Ultan was born into a small, but happy, family with a father, a mother, and an older sister. They lived on a small island, away from the busy Capitol, in this family, but there was nothing particularly unusual about this family. The boy was well taken care of, until tragedy struck when he was only three: The Church of Aneria murdered his father. Young Ultan had no memories of his father, so he only knew him through stories his sister, Aura, and his mother told him. Without a known reason behind the attack, and from his sister’s fear of them, Ultan grew up with a distrust of the Church and its members. He lived in this shaken home until he was fifteen, when a Church priest began taking interest in Aura. Scared, and without money or a plan, Ultan ran away, not wanting to see his sister die. Ultan took care of himself in the shady slums from then on, taking what money and food he needed from unwatched wallets and unguarded stores. This continued for a few years until he nabbed a book on smithing from a sleeping librarian. He decided to try this out for himself, and put together a makeshift forge. Over the years, he honed his skills, and became quite a good blacksmith. Both honest and questionable people came to him, but Ultan didn’t care about what his creations did after he sold them. He was just happy that he could support himself. Then, one day, he returned to his forge to find it destroyed beyond repair, and all of his materials and tools gone. Now, in the same state as he ran away seven years ago, Ultan is wandering around the city, looking for a new place to set up shop.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): Surviving, and maybe becoming a known smith, whether it be in the honest or shady side of the population.
Strengths (Both physical and personality): A will to survive, good at smithing, to-the-point.
Weaknesses (Both physical and personality. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. IE not knowing how to use bows and magic, if you are a swordsman.): Not very good with bows, and lacks an affinity for magic. Now, seriously: Blunt, doesn’t trust the Church, will resort to less-than-honest means to an end if needed (and sometimes when it’s not needed).
In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation.Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)
Walking down the streets of the Capitol, you encounter a pair of heavily armed and armoured men harassing a young girl.
Walking along the street in a, let’s say “not exactly wealthy” area, Ultan encounters two guards harassing a young girl who couldn’t have been more than 14. He yells from where he first sees them: “Hey! Don’t you thugs have more important things to be doin’ than goin’ after that lass? Are you too blind t’see it, or too dumb t’care?” The guards didn’t seem to like that so much, so they ran after Ultan yelling obscenities and drawing their swords. Ultan led them into the mazelike slums, and lost them somewhere in there.
A man approaches you with a proposition - Go to Bloodstone and retrieve something for him, and you will be well rewarded.
Out of breath after a chase with two guards, Ultan sits down on a bench when a well-dressed man walks up to him. The man says, “Hey, you look like a capable young man. Would you mind doing me a favor?” Ultan is somewhat confused, wondering what this rich man is doing in the slums and why he is asking someone as visibly tired as he is to do this job. However, he needs the money, so he replies, “What kind of favor?” “Well, you see, there are rumors that there’s a chest, deep inside Bloodstone Island, that contains mountains of gold, and jewels! If you get that for me, then I will sell it and give you half of the profit. You would be a rich man!” Ultan replies, “So, I risk gettin’ killed on that island by whatever’s on it, because you said there’s a treasure chest?” The man looks a little worried when he replies, “Well, when you put it that way…” Ultan doesn’t hear the rest of what he says as he just walks away from the man, shaking his head.
You pass an old man lying on the side of the street, begging for food.
Ultan is walking down the street one night, thinking about a strange man, when he almost trips on a beggar. He almost swears at the man, but then sees that the old man can barely lift his hand, he is so weak from hunger. The beggar manages to rasp out “P-please…” Ultan looks around, sees that the street is empty, and crosses it to a bakery that is about to close for the day. He walks in when the owner goes into another room, and quickly slips a loaf of bread into his shirt and leaves, returning to the old man. Ultan hands the bread to him, saying, “This should last you a few days, if you eat it slowly.” The beggar can’t reply, because his mouth is too full, but Ultan doesn’t mind.
In a tavern, a slightly inebriated fellow insults your mother.
Ultan walks into a bar late one night, after everyone still inside has finished more than a few mugs of beer. One rank-smelling man manages to shuffle over to him and put his arm on Ultan’s shoulder to stay upright. The drunk leans toward Ultan, giving him a funny look and saying, “Y’know, Ah thin’ Ah shaw y’mudder once. Y’looksh lak her, kinda. She’sh dumb as uh brickknob. Wait, er ish it…” Ultan pushes the man away, not wanting to hear him figure out what the saying is, and enters the bar.
You take a liking to a beautiful necklace a passing woman wears.
Inside a bar one night, Ultan is sitting on a stool when he notices a woman with a necklace of gold, with an emerald pendant. He considers trying to take it, but abandons the idea quickly. It’s much too crowded in the bar to take it unseen, and she looks sober enough to notice him if he tried to.
Do you have any questions about the server or our lore?: No
Nice to also see you back Carl. I forgot your character in BoH and SotA.
In BoH, it was the religious leader dwarf guy for a bit, but I left pretty soon. I never played on SotA. My time with this group was spent almost entirely in Silver Age

Do you have any questions about the server or our lore?
nope
Other notes:
sorry, my character is very quiet. His conversations are usually short, if there is a conversation at all.
No. You're terrifying.
Sorry people. here's my skin.
Tatertot8888,
this was a bit of a close shave, not for a bad app, but because we think your character may be slightly too badass for a craftsman. However, I think that you can role play well, and that you will be careful not to be OP in game. So welcome to the server, I hope to see you there!
SHHH! Keep it down! My smiley profile picture isn't always enough to fool everyone!
Arys is a bit bitter towards the church. He doesn't have anything personal against Ravitz, he just doesn't like the church that much.
Oh my! I had NO CLUE any of that was going on. We got ourselves a varitable drama afoot. That ought to make for some pretty dang juicy RP confrontations down the line.

Does your character have any connections to currently-existing characters or characters yet to be accepted? If so, which? (See “Character Linking Aid”. Please post a link to the topic.): Aura Boras (Lupas): http://aneria.enjin.com/forum/m/5878146/viewthread/6353351-siblings-aura-boras-lupa

In BoH, it was the religious leader dwarf guy for a bit, but I left pretty soon. I never played on SotA. My time with this group was spent almost entirely in Silver Age
