After a few years of this life, my lord was killed assassinated and I was cast out of the castle and I started wandering the worlds. I started an order to get back my lands. I became a leader, strategizing, and learning. I spied upon the opposing forces, I struck them down and destroyed their resources, and I rallied all the races and became part demon a conflict of fire and earth. The demon raged inside of me, drawing me away from those who could calm it. Those who could, those who managed to get near me, and those who I loved the presence of. I slowly drew above the demon and used it only as a tool, it giving me sharper senses and knowledge of the darker arts. The years of preparation was coming together very well, I was leading a force of all that I could rally. We marched upon the castle it had grown... considerable forces mounted on the walls, the town grew in mock prosperity. All the towns people hated their ruler and tried to get away. The suspense becoming too much, we charged through the castle. The silhouettes on the towers didn't seem to notice the opposing force flooding the castle. I quickly got to the center of the castle; The king was on his throne with a few guards. Back in my hidden cove (I had found it during my days within the castle, I drew a knife, I aimed, I fired, and I conquered... At last the new lord was vanquished, falling dimly to the ground... My life was lost, I had been found out, betrayed, the remaining soldiers tearing my body apart ... fracturing my soul. Slowly I was drawn back together my soul searching for each other part... For years I was floating in the world of darkness... finally I returned... to a world I didn’t know. My body transformed, the demon coming out a little more. I roamed the lands supporting my people ... a man in the shadows...

One night he was working late when someone smashed him over the skull with a pipe and took the tiny amount of money he had on his person. He lay there bleeding til the next morning when the next shift found him. From there he was taken to the nearest hospital. After trying for several hours to save him, Isaac's life slipped away. After sitting for many months in the morgue the hospital sold his body to an experimental science facility. This facility was attemptingsomething no one else had before. To bring back the dead. Using various machines and chemicals they had found a way to make an artificial set of organs. The problem was the brain wouldn't come back. To beat this they created a second, metal cortex to work with the first to bring the body back. The test was a magnificent success. Isaac was walking the earth once again. The problem was, the city he once knew was gone. The city known as Elysium stood in its place. He now wanders the streets of this city trying to find a place for him self. Thank you!, this was probably one of the first times in my life in which i was actually scared off getting accepted, you seemed pretty strict on the magic part and i wasn't sure if you'd accept anyone who hasn't been on the server yet.

While I am debating on applying or not, are there any other specific towns/cities other than Elysium? More specifically those which have a carrier/mailer sort of office/business? I'm asking because I do not wish to infringe on the already established lore (That is unless it is not-frowned upon to create a small town/establishment for character backstory purposes [From the server I am currently "hiatus'ing" from, it was fairly problematic]).

Either way, it was great fun being a part of this server. Its a little sad to see it end so early.
I think it is safe to say on the behalf of everyone that was involved that Elysium was great and it will be missed.
Also, I'm going to camp out 'till the end of the world in Miri's Inn, if anyone wants to join me.

If you would like like to know a good reason on why it is closing - it is because we didn't develop a plausible 'drive' for the server. As in, there was nothing pushing rp forward, really! This caused rp to be clunky and slow most of the time, but we will be ironing out these problems and the rest of them! Also, nyah.
