I've played on a couple servers that used the "Bookworm" plugin that I think is for Bukkit? It was before write-able books so I'm not sure if it still works or anything, but if I remember right, it allowed you to write books using commands in chat and you could place books in bookshelves by right-clicking.

So by custom, do you mean that the dimensions will be changeable?

Had a great idea.

What if the server splits itself into "Ages" or rounds. Each round would last a few weeks or a month, and during an "Age", each race would battle ot rise to be the greatest.

There would be certain requirements to be declared "The Dominant Race"
1)Kill all other kings, have control of the majority or all the towns in the Realm, and hold an armed force greater than any other races. (statistical) This would encourage paying taxes/supporting one's own Kingdom, and would create truly interesting interactions among players and other kingdoms. If the Elves are on the rise, conquering towns and gaining power, the Dwarves and Humans can ally together and fight against the Elves united.

Or the Elves, in order to crush their united power, can send "Assassins" to infiltrate their kingdoms and kill the enemy leaders.

2) another way to conquer would be to Gain the most wealth out of all the nations, hold the richest towns, and some other Economy related requirement.

Each winner of an age would be allowed to keep their lives, while all others are "purged" and sent to the Nether while a new "AGE" (clean, reset map) begins.

If I add it, the dimensions will be more flexible, but the height will probably have to be 12 blocks or lower, and the length will probably have some limitations, probably about 280 blocks


If you mean help by not stopping making he plugin, I'm still making the plugin, but I might not get around to it today because I have a lot of homework and I'm going to chess club tonight
Some things I still have to do:

• Finish EpicBoss compatibility < half way there
• Finish making names change colors < almost there
• Make the boss room appear < didn't start yet
• Make a way to go into a dungeon, I planned on having NPCs, but I have no idea how to do, so the first release MIGHT be with signs
• I think you want me to do some other minor things that I forget, but I know how to do everything listed (except the possibility of NPCs), I just have to type the code

Your paper idea sounds pretty cool though, but I think paper would need a limited character count so people don't just use it as a cheaper alternative to books all the time.
Oh, just got an idea! If it isn't being seen in dungeons or anything, retextured redstone and placed string could be used for the paper and books thing, maybe! You'd have to click on them to read the text or something though.
