Well guys Good...No AMAZING NEWS Tyyr Is back so that mean alpha should be comming up soon

I Agree on diamonds being unrealistic but iron tools do run out fast. I think some way to make iron tools more durable would be necessary. I don't want to have to carry around 5 picks every time i go mining... Although i like the idea of enchantment tables being in dungeons, or other hard to get places my vote is still one removing ONLY certain enchantments or only allowing certain people with high ranks to enchant. Try to avoid going overboard when it comes to blacklisting items it makes things less "minecrafty".

-Random Question: I am worried that people will just go and make there own base somewhere hidden, and on a small island it could get pretty crowded (and ugly) pretty quickly.

JHLO, I know what you mean by the worth of iron vs. diamond, but the scarceness and integrity of it will allow for a more dyanmic system of supply and demand. So much that wars will be fought for control of the iron and other resources. In an effort to keep things realistic(ish) and more interesting, Diamond will not be included (as far as i know). I do agree in it being a Donater Perk, but the problem with that is it will create a "pay to win" kinda thing, which is generally looked down upon.

Perhaps Gold Armor/weapons a Donator Perk?

On to another subject, I'm glad we finally got a link for Dungeoneering, because i have some rooms i want to send in!

Hey, guys! Ravenide here with some updates to the Rebel Base. Just hit "show" on the spoiler tag below. Warning, possibly large images.


So let's get right to it!

a. Rebels are awesome. We get free wolves and bones. The "Wolf Pit" is regularly supplied with sheep to keep them active, so it's also a good source of wool. It is located next to the Rebel Barracks.

b. This is the closest mine you can find upon joining the Rebels. It also leads to underground passages the Rebels use as tunnel networks to get around quickly and safely.

c. This is a prototype for the Aquadropper or Drop Pod. Using it is as simple as standing at the edge, and pressing the button in front of you. The released water will do the rest.

d. and e. This shows Vultra (the undead leader if I'm not mistaken) using the basic drop pod on the castle. As you can see, it's just like you're standing on water. You can shoot arrows, throw potions, etc. It will take you down ANY HEIGHT and you'll be unharmed. Also, the rebel insignia is visible.

f. Aerial view of the rebel base.

g. Warship.

h. The twin cannons mounted on the warship. Can be activated simultaneously or individually.

i. The doors lead to a room in front of the warships hull, with load-able dispensers that fire quickly.

j. Drop pod room at the back of the ship's hull. Contains several drop pods for raids and an enchanting table if enchantments will be allowed.

What do you guys think?

PS- I think Imma give dungeons a go! I'm thinking of a cave so deep underground, it's already below 0* and the water there just freezes. Crystal dungeons!

This looks pretty cool! I'm definetly going to be checking in on this thread every once and awhile. Depending on whatever evens out populations and stuff is what race I'll probably go to.

Now that Tyyr is back, is there an ETA for Alpha release? or some sort of guess?

And when it does open, will it be open only to Builders and such?

Good to know y'all are excited and we're super happy that we have your support. I would expect the server to be up for testing in 3-4 weeks or a month, with like 20 or so people. The specifics aren't really sure yet.

You'll have to wait for a while. Seems like psgts won't be getting on anytime soon. xD

Absolutely love the idea some ideas that were already given stole the words right out of my mouth :P. Cant wait for this to be public i wanna play.

Hey ravenide, I like the improvements on the Rebel Base.

I'm currently working on a Dungeoneering map, but i had some questions for psgts:
Can Restone go outside of the 16x16 size? because it's difficult fitting it inside the boundary, especially when it's a bit of complicated wiring.

Question: are diamonds the only thing being blacklisted? Also the rebel base looks amazing!


I think it would be cool if there was something like a communal trading post where pvp is disabled and Different clan/factions/tribes/groups can trade between each other peacefully.

Sounds like a great idea for a server! I'll be joining as a human.

I have a question, what exactly falls under the "Undead" race? Zombies, skeletons, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, or what?

I think that the Undead will only consist of the other races (except dead), though considering the usual view of "undead" things, Skeletons and Zombies are a likely choice too.

Where is Tyyr?
