To be a staff member, you need to have been on the server for a while. Also a staff member isn't one so they can make new aircraft models. They are there to stop spammers and to help people. They do that stuff in their free time (if they have any). An Admin job is a tough one. You have to be able to put 85% of your time into taking care of the server and the rest into building stuff. A staff member has to want to help. And they have to try to help even when nobody asks for it.
Things to work on:
Helping people
Getting on as much as you can
Learn the rules
Understand what people want
Forget about your needs
Take responsibility
Show admins what good will come out of you being an admin
