The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I would help him by donating some money for him and what ever he needs a favor for I would also give him advice on how to spend his money and how to turn it to even more.

There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I use a calm spell to calm the two down and then see if I could help them work out there differences.

Character Name: Gunthar_Stronghammer
Character Race: Mountain Dwarf
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Gunthar was a baby when he was found by a dwarven farmer near Kal'Dwain laying sprawled out in the middle of a field, with the strangest tracks all around. There was no sign of his parents, so the farmer took him home and raised him. The farmer had a boy about the same age as young Gunthar named Trevimli. He grew up alongside Trevimli not knowing who his real parents were but not caring for his foster parents gave him a good life. The bonds between Gunthar and Trevimli grew stronger every day for they loved working together. Trevimli had always been bigger then Gunthar but Gunthar was very smart so they made a great duo.
When Gunthar and Trevimli were both three seasons old he gave them each the name of Stronghammer. Next he told them it was time they left the farm and went out into the world together. His hopes are that they will one day be great heroes and maybe make a clan of their own. Now they have been preparing for this grand adventure of theirs, Gunthar hopes to find many books and collect them so that he may open his owl library one day, He has always loved books and the knowledge he gains from reading them. He thinks that everyone is missing out and so by opening his library he hopes to educate the common dwarf.
A scholar is what Gunthar truly is, but after spending long nights with Trevimli in the fields flaying sticks about imaging scores of orc falling beneath their "blades", he has become quite proficient with a sword. He is also a great architect and designed most all the buildings on his farm. Being raised up on the farm he is no stranger to farming. He is a very curious young dwarf and Growing up on the farm gaving him a strong set of morals.
What are your characters ambitions?: To go out on an adventure with Trevimli at his side, maybe serve a clan, open a library, and maybe even start up a clan with Trevimli.

*Gunthar strides over to the tattered merchant*. "Hail good dwarf, why do you shout to every passerby? "I am in need of business if you cannot tell." *the merchant laughs a little*. "I know but your shouting is scaring away your business cannot you see?". "I suppose your right" *merchant surveys the people in the street seeing the weird looks they give him*. "Perhaps I could help you, what you need is a better outfit no one wants to buy from someone who looks like he climbed out of the sewers, no offense". *merchant grunts* "I have not the coin to i barely get enough to feed myself". *I pull out a good sum of minas and stretch out my arm to hand it to him* "I do not like seeing one of my own in the streets like this, so i bid you take this and clean up a bit". *The biggest smile breaks out across the merchants face as he takes the minas* "You sir are the kindest dwarf I've ever met, bless you!".
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

"it's surprising to see an orc here when I heard the undead have been sighted near your tribes". *the orc immediately sprints off to his tribe in a desperate plight to save his tribe*. "thank you good dwarf without you that brute would of had me head and been of with my minas!". *Gunthar smiles after being praised* Oh do not worry he would of believed anyone. *the dwarf reachs into his pockets and bringing out a handful of minas* "here this be yours for the trouble and for saving me".

" I wonder how a man so old collected such a large amount of money?". *Gunthar hands out the stick so the old man might grab it*. "Thats none of your business dwarf so take this to keep you quiet and be on your way" *the old man sticks his arm out with a couple minas in his hand towards Gunthar*. "I'm an honest dwarf and i'll have nothing to do with your minas". *walking off i take note to alert the guards of a suspicious old man at the next city*.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I would help the Dwarf make enough money for him to get his life started. I would do this by selling the Items myself then giving him the Money and see if theres a job for him elsewhere where people accept Dwarves.

So I would make him believe the dwarf was the bigger person mentally.

Character Race: Wood Elf
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:My story starts out like any other yet it twists and turns like the leaves of a tree. My name is Aeden Alhada. I grew up like any boy, yet my life is like no other. When I was born my parents say there was a peace in the forest. They thought that it was a sign that I would be peaceful, they were wrong. As I grew up I just wanted to get away from my home, I wanted to explore the vast world. Sadly I would get my wish. While I was outside our home I found a wolf, I fed it and took it home. After bathing it and giving it a name I was told to go to bed, while I slept the wolf turned. It ran downstairs to get some food, where my mother stepped on its tail. The wolf snarled at her then ripped the skin on her face and neck. My father ran in the room with a knife in his hands and I watched with fearful eyes as they fought. I watched as my father was bitten in the arm, and then wolf stabbed in the chest, then my father dropping the knife and staring at the place where his hand used to be. The wolf stared at the hole in its heart. Both the wolf and my father collapsed into the pile of blood. I sat at my father’s side his head in my lap and stared into his clouded eyes. I dragged the body of my mother next to my father. I dug two days till the tomb was finished. I said my final goodbyes and pulled the rope to release the stone, as it covered the tomb I cried my last tear. I grabbed my pack my bow and my father’s knife and left my home, the wolf’s cooked flesh in my bag. I am now far away from my old home, from the stone tomb covered with flowers. My heart behind buried in my parents tomb. What are your characters ambitions?:To explore the world, and find comfort for his grieving heart.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human; he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? As I enter the great city of Arethor I see a small shop on the corner. I walk over to ask the man what there is to see n the city. As I walk up I see that the shop owner is a small dwarf, his eyes are bagged from days without sleep and he looks of poverty. "Hello kind sir how are you today" I ask as I walk up to his counter. Startled the man jumps up, seeing that I mean no harm he sits back down "I'm sorry if I startled you lad, I am just not used to a friendly face in this city". I stare at his face and can imagine his hardships "Why are you being tormented, who would torment a poor dwarf". He stares at me and his eyes light up as he speaks "You are a kind soul my friend, where have you come from?” “My story is a long one" I say "But if you have the time I will tell you all". So I did, as he sat in his chair I told my story from beginning to the present day. After I was done he stared into my eyes then stood, "My boy" he says to me "Today you have told me a story that would put my petty struggles to shame, but I have nothing to give you so why befriend me?” I gave him a smile and said "I have helped you because I could see in your eyes you need it" and with that I removed one of my pouches of coins and gave them to the man. He looked me in the eyes and a tear rolled down his cheek "my friend" he says "take for you this sword, it is elfish like yourself, but was once wielded by my father". I stare at the sword, it was covered in stones of a greenish color. I thank the man but tell him I must move on. He says three words before I go "Goodbye my friend". "Good luck to you I call back to him"
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? As I walk down the Oren Road I see an orc and a dwarf. The orc is standing over the dwarf and wielding a knife. I sneak into the shadows and draw my bow from my shoulder. As I step out the shadows I call to the orc “why torment a poor dwarf that has no weapon to his name?” “who are you to question me elf?” He yelled to me. As he was speaking to me the dwarf ran out of his reach. “You fool” he called to me “that dwarf has stolen my food and coins; and he has killed my son while we slept”. I looked into the orc’s eyes and saw behind the anger a deep sorrow. I turned and shot my arrow into the back of the retreating dwarf.”Thank you elf, you are forever welcome in my home” the orc says after the dwarf is dead “I will now leave to bury my son” “I have a gift for your sons grave” I tell the orc “a jungle seed to grow a weeping bush. “Thank you” the orc says as I walk down the road once again.

As I walk down the road to Malinor I see a old man stumbling along in front of me. His face old and wrinkled with age, his walking stick frail and splintered. As I am about to ask him if he needs any help his walking stick breaks. I watch as he falls slowly to the ground, as he falls to the ground a bag of minas drop from his pocket. I run quickly over to the man helping him to a nearby rock, I grab the coins off the ground and give them to him.”Are you okay sir?” I ask the old man, apparently deaf he provides no answer so I check his body for wounds, finding none I go off and find a good sturdy stick and carve him a walking stick. I hand it to him and he walks off into the sunset.

Definitions
In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:
The act of pretending to be your character in game. To live out his life and actions like you are your avatar and all that is happening is real. To become one with your avatar and always act in character to use the characters as a way to respond to in game situations as if you were really him.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:
Meta-gaming is any out of character action or using out of character knowledge to have an advantage in game. You should only know what your character knows and not what the player knows.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:
Any action that takes away the other players chance to react or respond to the situation is power emoting. Such as Overself kills watsen56 while he is asleep. The correct method would be Overself tries to kill watsen56 while he is sleeping. That way the 2nd player can react to the situation. You are not limiting the possible response when done correctly.

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Overself is a dwarf that was raised by his Grandfather in a small farming village. He was given a strange name because of his unusual heritage and his grandfather wanted humans to be able to pronounce his name. Overself’s Grandfather chose to raise him in an integrated village .Ever since Overself was young his Grandfather taught him the ways of dwarves and human alike. He lived in peace and happiness making many friends among the different people who called his village home. No matter how happy he was Overself longed for the day that he was old enough to leave his village and explore the world.
That day came but not as Overself hoped it would arrive with happiness and excitement but with sadness and despair. Overself had learned all he could from the many people that lived in his village and was ready to start his adventure into the world. However before this could happen his village was attacked by what he later discovered was an army of undead. They came at night and destroyed his family and infected the land with their evil. Overself had spent the night hunting and was gone from the village at the night just by pure chance he survived when everyone he loved died.
And so now all alone and with nothing to call his own weak and powerless Overself begins his journey to find justice and seek revenge on the undead horde that destroyed his life and forever altered his fate. Overself has decided to find other Dwarves and learn more about his culture and perhaps find a home within one of the great Dwarven holds.
What are your characters ambitions?: To find a home among fellow dwarves and learn all he can to help him destroy undead .He will stop at nothing to destroy undead and bring justice to his family and village. Overself wants to help other villages and people so they won’t meet the same fate as his village.

“Or will gef you a ruhn rugirk information t’ help Or find thagi umgus named Flagg. “ I say.
“Sorry brother but I was raised among humans and have never learned the language of our kind.” The poor dwarf replied.
I then explain “Luckily I too was raised among humans and speak their language well.
Then I go on to offer “I shall teach you some basic dwarf language in exchange for any information you may have about any dwarf cities near here.
The poor dwarf says his name and agrees to the deal. “My name my human father gave me is Gorumgus. And I have some information you may find useful.”
I eagerly agree to teach him some dwarf language in exchange for any information he may have about nearby dwarf holds and where I might start my search for a new home. You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
Always looking for a way to gain more knowledge I find myself most nights reading ancient books searching for that perfect place to start a home. And this night is no different until a disturbance at a nearby table gets my attention.
Realizing that I’m the only other person in the room and not wanting to witness a violent altercation. I decide to take action, by jumping up quickly and sizing up the biggest threat. I go straight at the human grabbing him by the collar I yell
“ Or igill krog galtair! This thagi ‘s Or! Anart gid it Urkus!”
I then turn and see a book of dwarf history that the human had been reading and knew I had made the right choice. Standing as tall as I could and staring at the Orc I nod. The Orc is dumb but sees that my pride demands justice. Also the yelling has awakened the monk that guards the sanctuary. The Orc suddenly decides his petty squabble with the Human can wait but he will remember that I stole his easy prey from him. Of that I have no doubt.”
Upon seeing that the monk is coming our way and that the Ork had left the building I quickly let go of the Humans collar and apologize for my rough behavior.
I explain “Sorry Umgus but in my travels I have seen many Urkus fight Umgus! It is never good for the Umgus not good at all. My name is Overself and I hope you understand why I felt I had to act as quickly as I did.”
The Human replies while waving the guard off “No its ok I’m grateful you were here to stop the Ork or Urkus as you say!
My name is Cristobal and I’m in your debt! How may I be of service? I am just a young apprentice wizard but will do what I can to repay by debt.”
I’m always looking for more information to help in my adventures so I ask “ What do you know about the Dwarf clans that reside near here?”
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:
Since he appears human I speak to him in that language “Hello there wise fellow! May I help with your cane there sir?
I bend down to help him retrieve his cane but make sure to stay away from his coins. I don’t want him to get his guard up if he is what I think he is.
So as I examine the cane and reach out a hand to help him up I say “What’s a wise old fellow like you travel so far from Malinor? Its Malinor you come from is it not?
He takes my hand and allows himself to be helped up. Then replies “Yes old and friendly Dwarf so kind to a wise old feller as you says. What is that you want that honey drips from yonder lips? Never have I met such a sweet Dwarf!
I laugh and say “Ha! Wise and clever too I see! I only seek to find news of Malinor. You see I’m Overself and I’m searching for a town to call my own and seek warrior friend to call my brothers. I may be old yes but we dwarves live long and I’m still young for my kind and have much to learn for I am hungry for knowledge.”
The old man looks at me and waves his hand over the ground the coins magically float up to his hands and he says” Well then baby dwarf with the snow white hair. I am the Wizard Randor! However weak you think I look right now I am very powerful and could help you on your journey .I could use the help of an aspiring young warrior like yourself. You see on the road near here I ran afoul of some undead and when trying to escape I lost my wand. If you can return it I’d be happy to teach you how all I know about dwarven culture and the location of many dwarven holds.”
Sensing that this was my chance to learn from one of the most powerful wizards of the day and hearing echoes of his own story in the wizard Randor’s tale I decided I had to act. “All right wise Randor I will find your wand. For you see I have sworn an oath to protect the innocent and destroy undead wherever I may find it. Any knowledge you have about the dwarves near here will be reward enough!”
In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is the playing of a character in a different life, where said character has his or her own life, personality, and ambitions.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: The act of meta-gaming is the OOC knowledge of something that the ingame character does not know. For example, a player reads on a forum that there is going to be an assault on their village. He goes onto the roleplaying server and notifies everybody in town to prepare. In the game however, his character would not have known about this assault and would have been unprepared. It takes away from a lot of the realism in roleplaying itself.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is the usage of emotes on another player in roleplaying to put them into a situation that they have no power or control over. For example, "The dwarf chokes, suffers a sudden heart-attack, and dies" would be usage of power-emoting.

Character Name: Lanolar Roherdiron
Character Race: High Elf
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: The story of Lanolar Roherdiron begins when I was born just outside of Malinor, north of the caverns of Menorcress. My mother Luana and my father Alston were quite young when they had me. I never new my mother though, for she died giving birth to me. My father was then forced to raise me on his own while try to make a living to feed the both of us. The attention from my father was nearly infinite until I had reached the age of about 15. At that point he had started bringing me into Haeluno with him where he worked as a merchant selling farming supplies. I would spend most of my time sitting in the back room of his shop either reading about the history of the Elven kingdom, or trying to help him organize his shop so his business could prosper. I continued this until about age 20 when for my birthday, I received my very first bow from my father. He had been saving it for when he thought I was good and ready to learn it's amazing wonders and talents. He would help me practice in the fields where we wouldn't injure anybody by accident. After I got the hang of it I would practice constantly, always trying to improve my skill and become a better archer. Once I reached age 30 I would even sneak out at night from time to time just to go and practice on the dummy target I had set up in an open field. As I entered the final years of being a teenager I helped my father out around the shop most of my time. Together we made the business much better and our income was increasing at a steady rate. Everything was going so smoothly it almost seemed like a fantasy to my father and I.
As I entered adulthood, new responsibilities were brought upon me. Some of the older and wise elves in Haelunor had noticed my work ethic and ability to prosper with my bow. They personally confronted me one afternoon just as I was closing up the shop for my father. They told me that they appreciated my skills and work ethic and that I should consider joining those who protect the peace and studies of the Elves inside Normandor. I gladly accepted this responsibility and kept practicing with my bow to make sure I was ready to serve the Elves against anybody that would dare to disturb the peace that went on every day in the community of Haelunor. In between the time of my practicing of my bow I made sure that I continued to study nature and learn more about the oldest history known about the Elves. While all of this was going on, my father became very sick. Something called Dwarven Fever, a rare disease that is hardly ever seen harming people outside of the underworld. None of the people in the community, even the druids, could do anything to help him of his illness. I was soon told that my father only had about a week left to live before he would pass away. The people in Haelunor told me to take that week off and spend our last moments together. I ended up doing just that and even more to care for my father. I spent all the hours of the first 5 days of that week with him. Caring for him and having conversations about my childhood and how much fun it was. On the sixth day I went out to the place I was born just outside of Malinor. My mother's gravestone was there, for my father had wanted it to be in the place that she had died. Right next to that I worked for 4 hours making a second grave and gravestone for my father when he passed away the next day. As that morning came, I went straight to where my father was sleeping. I gently woke him and he was very glad to see me. He told me that he was the weakest he had ever felt and was already growing tired even after waking up only 10 minutes earlier. I knew this was going to be it for him within the next 20 minutes so I did not leave his side. Just as my father was closing his eyes, he looked at me and said to me, "Lanolar, you must find what lies in the shadow of the statue. It is your destiny to understand what you are to do in your life before you pass like I am now." At those final parting words, he closed his eyes and went somewhere far away where he could be at peace.
After burying his body and paying my final respects to the one who had raised and cared for me my entire life, I was troubled. What he told me ripped my brain into two pieces, one half struggling to find the other half. It just did not make sense to me. All the hours I had spent studying the Elven history back to the beginning of Aegis had never mentioned a "Shadow of the statue". I researched and researched for hours on end. Two whole years and nothing found on the subject at all. I had devoted all of my time and resources to finding this one thing that I didn't even know existed. Now as I have no money left I am a traveler longing for a purpose. I still wish to understand what my father meant when he passed, but it is a far off dream to me now. I must continue on with my life though. Make a living, study the environment and it's nature, and protect the people of Malinor from any evil that may come upon them at any time. My journey is far from over, as it is my destiny to understand my father's last words.
What are your characters ambitions?: My character's ambitions are to make a living and find an overall purpose for himself in the world of Aegis. His secondary ambitions are to understand what his father's parting words meant as he died of Dwarven Fever.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?: My character hears the dwarf calling to sell to people in the city and approaches him at his stand. He asks the dwarf what he is selling and the dwarf tells him that he is selling stone weaponry to people in need of it. After buying two swords from the dwarf, Lanolar tells the dwarf that he will be right back. Lanolar then proceeds to the center of town and begins shouting for a crowd to gather around him. As people arrive to see what all the commotion is about Lanolar tells them, "Listen up people in the city! Over in the merchant district, there is a dwarf selling stone weaponry to buyers at a good price! I myself have bought from him and many others in the area and I can assure you they are all high quality!" Many people agree with Lanolar and head over there to buy from them. A group of people in the back of the crowd however begin to question Lanolar and ask him if he's lying and if he even did go buy from them. One of them shouts to him, "How can we be so sure that you aren't trying to scam us and get our money! Prove to us that this really is high quality craftsmanship eh!". Lanolar pulls a sword out from his pack and tosses it to them proving himself to them and everybody else watching. The people admire how truthful and correct Lanolar was about the quality and craftsmanship of the swords he bought. Many more people now go to the merchant stands and buy from all the people there. As night comes that evening and the people of the city head back to their homes the dwarf approaches Lanolar. He thanks him for helping him and all the other merchants for helping them make a better living. In saying this he tosses Lanolar a small sac of coins as gratitude for helping him. Lanolar gives him the coins back telling him that he does not want to be rewarded for helping somebody else in need. He says that his reward is the smiles on their faces and the lives that he has bettered on that day.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?: Lanolar notices the situation and recognizes that it could soon become out of hand for the defenseless dwarf. Lanolar quickly steps in and challenges the Orc saying that nothing good will come out of a fight between them and that it would be wise for him to leave immediately. The Orc laughs ad Lanolar and steps up for a fight. Lanolar knows what he needs to do and briefly fights the Orc to defend himself and the helpless dwarf who only needs somebody to look out for him. After a quick and short fight the Orc stops and backs away. He is mildly injured and knows he cannot continue. He then runs the other direction so that he does not take any more damage from the ones he fought against. Lanolar puts away his weapon and asks the dwarf if he is ok. The dwarf has a scratch that is seeping blood from the Orc hitting him on the arm. Lanolar quickly tears a piece of his shirt off to patch up the wound until some proper bandages could be put onto it. He then offers to carry the dwarf on his back until they reach the next inn where he could keep him safe for the night. The dwarf gladly accepts this offer and hops onot Lanolar's back. Lanolar carries him about 2 miles until they finally reach an inn. When they arrive there he takes him to a room and sets him down. He goes and grabs some bandages from the inn keeper and patches up the dwarfs would properly. The dwarf quickly becomes tired and falls asleep. Lanolar knowing he will not wake till morning could leave and be on his way. Instead however, he decides to watch over the dwarf for the night. The dwarf has been scared and deserves to wake up seeing somebody watching over him as he sleeps instead of leaving him there to be ambushed in the night. At dawn, the dwarf wakes to see Lanolar still watching over him. He thanks him greatly and then continues on his way. Before he could leave however, Lanolar gives him a small sac of coins to help him on his way and a piece of bread to fill his stomach. They then part ways to hopefully meet again some day.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Lanolar immediately notices the old man has fallen and sprints to help him to his feet. Just as he kneels down and arrow whizzes over his head. Lanolar turns to see 3 bandits coming towards him and the old man with bows and swords. Lanolar assumes their intent would be to beat the old man and steal his belongings. He quickly carries the old man and sets him behind a tree where he will be safe for the time being. Lanolar then proceeds to fight off the bandits until they scamper back into the forest where they came from. After they had gone, Lanolar rushed to the tree where he had laid the old man. The old man has several cuts that are bleeding along his legs. Lanolar remembers that he has many extra bandages in his pack and proceeds to put them on the wounds that the old man has. After the old man is bandaged up Lanolar hands him some bread and water to rest for a bit. He then goes back to the road where the old man fell. Lanolar takes an sac from his bag and puts all the Minas into it making sure he triple checks that every last one is in the bag before he returns to the old man. After he is satisfied, he goes back to the tree and hands the old man the sack of Minas that he dropped in the road. Before they part Lanolar notices that the old man's walking stick is broken. He then gives him his own walking stick so that the old man may continue on with his journey. They shake hands as a symbol of trust and gratitude and then part ways to each of their destinations.

The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?Raylend would look at the poor dwarf. He would walk over and have a look at his wares. He sees a necklace thats shows intrest to him, he would give the amount of money needed for the necklace to the dwarf and be on his way. But for a moment he would look back, knowing what the dwarf is going through.. The poverty, the hatred, the critisizing.. he goes back to the dwarf and gives a few more minas to him. Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Markus Tenanswayer, was born in the Kingdom of Renatus, with his mother and father, and no siblings. His parents both worked in the coal mines. One day, while Markus's Dad was sick, his Mom had to work double her usual time. Unfortunately, that night, the gas levels got extremely dangerous, and as completely everyone was evacuated, Markus's Mom was still in there. She was packing everything up and then, BOOM! The whole mine exploded. Everyone survived but her. Markus's father had recieved the news, and he cried for 4 days straight. As the years went by, his father had asked him what he would like to train in doing. Markus said he would like to train in being stealthy, and he wanted to become an Assassin. His father didn't like the idea, but he was the one to ask Markus what he would like to start training to become an Assassin. As they trained, Markus had become very stealthy over the years. He said he wouldn't use his skill to kill people, but to simply spy on them. Unless he was hired, he wouldn't kill. He turned the age of 17, and his father had died. He buried him, with a nice Lapiz Lazuli gravestone that his father had mined years back. As his father's death is behind him now, he looks toward the future, to serve his fellow town-mates well, and to swear never to harm anyone, unless ordered to.
What are your characters ambitions?: He wants to only serve the people of the town in a well being manor.

If it is something of my interest or needs, I will purchase it from him for a necessary price. In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is when you stop thinking as yourself and become another person with their own ideas, morals, and beliefs. Whether this imaginary person is a richeous paladin, a murderous sociopath, or a gnomish mage; you must do your best to act out their life. You need to keep your own, personal feelings from affecting what this character does and doesn't do. Of course, your character isn't actually real.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: A nasty and cheap thing for you to do that ruins the experience for you and others. Basically, you rp your character with knowledge he doesn't have (going against what I said in the roleplay description), which amounts to cheating in my eyes.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: I'm not too sure what power-emoting is, but it sounds like a disgusting habit, power-gamingm, a few people I've played with have used. I'm assuming it has to do with underhanded tactics during gameplay, like attacking someone when you just gave them the option to just pay you off with Minas/resources/gear. If you do this, then your opponent gets tied up in the chat screen and can't fight back. Is this close to what power-emoting is?

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Markus was born into a family of farmers living in Ager with two older brothers and, eventually, a younger sister. He grew into a rather quiet kid, not saying more than needed to be said and was very intelligent.
Though he loved his parents and siblings very much, Mark wasn't really cut out for the farming life. He felt too cooped up and left for the capital city, Arethor, at age fifteen. His parents accepted this, since both of his brothers were going to become farmers like their father, and gave him enough Minas to survive a few days before finding a job.
Now, four years later, even the city has lost it's appeal. Deciding that his current life was too boring, Mark decided to try a life of fighting and adventures. With this dream in mind, the young man packed up some supplies and tools, selling most of his possesions to help fund him.
Marcus left the city with a sack full of food, cloths, and money; a cheap weapon to defend himself with; and his favourite outfit. He wore a thin, faded leather vest over a creame colored tunic. He has bound his hands in strips of cloth, giving him a pair of improved gloves. A pair of dark brown pants cover him from the waist down with more strips of the same cloth all around the knees, allowing him to kneel longer. a simple pair of brown shoes shield his feet from sharp things.
Wrapping his cream colored scarf, a gift from his sister, around the lower part of his slightly tanned face, and adjusting his goggles he bought on his first day in Arethor. The breeze stirred his uncut, brown hair as he set off into the wide world.
What are your characters ambitions?: Mark simply wants to see the world.

While getting my bearings straight from a guard after I got to Arethor, I noticed a dwarf peddling his wares to any who would even stop. As I watched, not a single person listened for more than a few seconds before running off. Deciding to show some kindness, I approached the dwarf.
"Hey there, lad," The dwarf called as I approched, "Me name's Nabit Oakenfist, and I'm here taday ta sell various dwarven trinkets ta any who'll pay!"
I gave him a friendly smile and proceded to look over the various pieces of sundries and nick-naks until my eyes landed on a pair of well worn goggles. Pointing, I asked, "How much for those?"
"Ah, good eye lad," Nabit mused, "Those were tha very goggles I first wore when learning how ta smith. I gots some better ones now, but these're just fine as is. Normally, they'd be 20 Minas, but since yer me first customer today, ye'll get them fer the low price of ten Minas."
After rubbing my chin for a moment, I pulled out ten Minas, grabbed the goggles, and said, "Deal."
"Thank ya lad, thank ya!" Nabit exclaimed, "And be sure ta tell all yer friends about Nabit Oakenfist!"
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon. What does your character do?
I wasn't sure where I was when I woke up. All I remembered was getting drunk at a friends party and someone babbling about a road trip. Now here I was, all alone hobbling along with a thick branch on what I thought was the Oren Road, though the hangover was causing problems with my memory.
The night was nice and quiet until someone started shouting up ahead. As I got closer, the yelling got louder and I got angrier. When I turned a bend, I could see an orc yelling at some dwarf. There was broken pottery nearby, and my groggy mind somehow pieced together that the broken pot was the orc's. The dwarf wasn't really yelling back, but was trying to scoop the clay shards together and fix his accident.
While he was doing that, the orc gave him a swift kick to the side, sending the poor dwarf flying. That's when I swung improvised cane at the orc's head. The shocked orc, who didn't even know I was there, fell forward and hit his head on a rock. I stood over him for a minute, panicing over wheather I just killed him or not, until he let out a huge snore.
I blew an ale smelling sigh of relief and walked over to the dwarf, musing about how near-murdering someone really sobers you up quick, and started poking him with my branch. After the eith or ninth poke, he stirred and looked up at me with a drunken gaze. He stared at me for a few more seconds before grabbing me in a bear hug and sobbing, "Mark! Where've ya been buddy!?"
I gasped for air and managed to choke out, "Nabit? How'ed you get out here?"
"We weresh lookin' fer yash," he slirred back, "Don't'cha remember da parshty?"
"Kind of...Wait, is that why I'm out here? The road trip?"
"Yesh! Ya shaid it wash yer brodder's birshday termorrow, sho I said we should all go shee dem. But on da way, we losht ya."
I stared at my friend of three years before sighing and said, "Let's just go home."
"That'sh where the odders are, Back in Aretoo...Airthe...Ortho...the Capital."
"Alright then," I said as I stepped back, "lead the way."
Oakenfist, after looking down both directions the road went, turned to me and said, "I think I'm losht."

As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:
My new adventuring had taken me far, all the way to the elven lands! I didn't think I'd be this far so fast.
After getting to the top of a hill I could see an old man ahead, shambling along on a dried up twig of a stick. Feeling a tad bit lonely, I quickened my pace. Once within earshot, I started to call out a greeting but chocked it back as the cane snapped.
I ran the rest of the way to the man, kneeling and saying, "Oh my gods! Are you all right?"
"No, I'm not youngin'," the old man snapped, "My only means of getting to Malinor just snapped and now my money is spilled all over the road."
When I looked around, I could see he was right. Coins glittered all over the road. Without another word, I stood up and gathered all the coins, ignoring the old man's complaints. Once I was sure, I went back over to the old man and put them back in his coinpurse, giving its drawstring a good tug to make sure his money didn't spill again. He eyed me wearily as I walked into the nearby woods and found a nice sturdy branch lying on the ground.
After testing the new walking stick by bending it over my knee, I returned to the old man and, offering my hand, said, "Here. If you don't think you can walk the rest of the way, I could lend you some support."
The old man eyed me some more before grabbing my hand and letting me pull him up. Once he had the new staff, he turned to me and said, "Thank you young sir. I hope you could forgive my earlier actions. Such virtue is hard to come by these days. I believe I can get there on my own, but I wouldn't mind having some travelling company. My name's Arthur. I don't think I caught yours."
"My name's Marcus," I replied, smiling, "and I'd like some travelling company too."

"I would like that necklace you have there." I point at the necklace. "Aye, that is a necklace I got from killing a great big wolf, tough little bugger." He picks up the necklace and thinks. "That will be 150 Minas please." I hand him a small bag in which has 400 minas in it. "Thank you Old man! Would you like something else for free?" "Ah, yes do you have any books over war?" The dwarf then turns around and rummages through his chest. He finally pulls out a large book and hands it to me. "Here you go lad. I don't think anyone was even going to buy it anyways." And he just grunts at me and continues the threaten him. I walk up to him and poke him with my iron sword. "Hello, sir orc? May you stop threatening this poor dwarf?" The orc stops threatening him and turns to me. He pulls out a large club and grunts again. I then know that this orc will not stop without him winning in the end. The charges at me and I fall to the ground. He jumps over me and stumbles. He then jumps again at me and I point out my sword. He hits me on the side and I fall against a tree with my sword still in-hand. He runs at me with his club held high. As soon as he is on top of me, my sword goes through his chest. He falls over and I get up. I quickly hand the dwarf the Orc's club and I pat him on the shoulder. As I walk off I hear the orcs scream and then it went silent. I smiled and kept on walking.

As people arrive to see what all the commotion is about Lanolar tells them that there is a dwarf merchant that is selling swords at a great price over in the market area of the city. He then tells them that there are also other merchants selling materials and tools that can be useful to anybody. He says that he bought from many of them including the dwarf and they are all high quality materials. Many people agree with Lanolar and head over there to buy from them. A group of people in the back of the crowd however begin to question Lanolar and ask him if he's lying and if he even did go buy from them.
There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?: As soon as Lanolar sees the situation arise he is faced with a serious decision. He can either stay and try to fight or turn the other way and ignore it. Knowing himself being quite a small Elf, he would not stand a change against an Orc twice his size. Running however, would be very cowardly in Lanolar's eyes and does not seem like the right thing to do. Lanolar then notices an inn not far from where he is down the road. Lanolar breaks into a full out sprint towards the inn in hopes that he might find somebody to help him, for he would not be able to do much by himself. When he arrives he sees a group of 4 Dwarves standing outside the entrance. They tell him that one of the Dwarves in their group fell behind and must have gotten lost. Lanolar quickly explains the situation he saw with the Orc and soon they are all sprinting back to where Lanolar just was. Upon arriving back there they find the Dwarf fallen in the middle of the road. The Orc is gone but the beating on the defenseless dwarf has put him into a critical condition. There is blood on the ground and seeping from multiple wounds across his face and his legs. Lanolar begins violently ripping his shirt apart into strips so that he could bandage the dwarf before it was too late. As he begins to apply the bandages the dwarf starts to calm down. The entire time since they had arrived at the scene he had been screaming in pain. After the last of the wounds had been applied to the dwarf, it is apparent that he will not be able to walk on his own. With the help of the other dwarves, Lanolar assists them in carrying the injured dwarf back to the inn that he had found the rest of his group at. Upon arriving there some others come outside to help bring him inside and properly treat his wounds. When morning comes the next day, the dwarf is very thankful for the act of kindness Lanolar performed to him. Lanolar shakes the hand of the dwarf and then continues on with his journey down the Oren Road.
What does your character do?: As soon as Lanolar sees the old man collapse to the ground he rushes over to him. The old man tells him that he has hurt left leg quite badly and does not think he can walk on it. He helps lift the old man up and support him from his left side. With Lanolar's hand around his right shoulder and his hand around Lanolar's left shoulder, he is able to hobble with him over to a tree where he sets him down to rest. Just as he sets him down he hears a rustle from a bush back where the bag of Minas broke. He turns around to see a thief stealing the money on the ground and putting it into his own bag. As Lanolar calls out to him to tell him that those do not belong to him, he bolts the other way. Lanolar quickly draws his bow and puts an arrow straight through the thief's back. After retrieving his arrow and the stolen Minas, he returns to the old man at the tree. He give him back all of the lost money and asks him how his leg feels. The old man says that it feels much better after giving it a short rest and thanks Lanolar for his kindness when he needed help. Just as Lanolar is about to continue on his journey he gives the old man his own walking stick, remembering that his had snapped when he fell. After that, Lanolar continues down the road to wherever he had been going when he saw this happen.

Nerosain's mother decided she could do better than to be a beggar , so she became a farmer. Nerosain took over his mother's roll of beggar, he seemed to have made more money than his mom did as a beggar, because he was a child. By age 12, Nerosain decided its time he did something more, so he wandered into The Wilds and fletched himself a bow and some arrows, Nerosain continued to hunt, and sold the food for money, so after many years of labor, Nerosain and his mother made enough money to buy his mother a new house.
At age 20, Nerosain is going off to start his own adventure. While walking on the Oren road, he gets mugged for all of his food and clothes, he awakens alongside the road, naked and hungry, he continues walking, when a generous man finds him and gives him some clothes, food, and some minas. Nerosain now has no memory of anything besides basic tasks. He seeks fortune and respect in this world, now, all new to him.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
*I walk over to see what the commotion is all about* "Dwarf what seems to be the problem?". "this orc is trying to rob me of my minas!".
What does your character do?:
*Gunthar bolts over to the side of the fallen man* "you there dwarf I am in need of walking stick if its not to much trouble please". *walking over to a fallen tree near the road I make short work of a branch with my axe*. *As I am cutting all the limbs off the tree, I notice the man sprawling about on the road desperately grabbing his minas. *thinking quickly as I walk back with the walking stick as to how this man got so much minas, I decide to ask*.
The server is really picking up and we are over 200 players at multiple times.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?

Character Name: Overself
Character Race: Dwarf

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Since Overself was raised in a human village he can speak fluent human as well as dwarf languages. Overself is new to the ways of the larger world outside his village, but ultimately seeks to learn the ways of the world and help fight evil in the world.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He is and has always been a hard working and diligent Elf. You can put him to any task and he will get it done without questioning the authority of his superior.

His father always taught him to use his skills only when needed, and to try to use them for good, not evil. To this day he has lived up to that sentence. Raylend has left his family, in hopes to find fortune in order to bring back. Giving his family what they deserve...
What are your characters ambitions?: To seek anything that could help his family.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. Then walks away with a smile on his face.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? As Raylend walks by, he notices the feud that is happening and sees the Orc terrorizing the defenseless dwarf. He rushes over to the scene and gets the Orc in headlock. "I swear. You so much as look or act towards this dwarf in a menacing way again, I will snap your neck. I could right now, but you are pathetic to me. Now, I'm going to release you. When I do, I expect you to just walk away." The Orc would make a slow nod. Raylend released him and watched him scurry away. Then he looked at the dwarf, whose still in shock. Then walks away.
What does your character do?:Raylend acts surprised as the man falls, he quickly helps him up and puts his arm over his shoulder. He escorts him to a nearby bench and lets him rest. He then gathers the minas off the ground and puts them into a spare pouch he had and gives it to the man. He then goes to a neaby sturdy branch and breaks off a peace that would almost match the cane before. He makes sure the man can walk on it then continues on his way...

If it is a complete rip-off, I will apologize to him telling him, "I am sorry, but your deals are quite expensive to me. But maybe next time I will buy some of your items."

If he tries to attack me, I will fight him. I will fight until the death, as long as the dwarf makes it out of that area alive. If I kill the orc, I quickly dispose of the body, and get rid of the evidence before any suspicion is aroused. As I bury his body, I quickly finish that up and go find the dwarf. When I find the dwarf, he tries to offer me a small reward. I tell him to keep it, it may come in handy to him later on. He wants me to have it, but I tell him I just saved your life, it's what I do.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
I walk up to the Dwarf and say "Hello bearded-one, doesn't look like you don't have much business here. Could I buy something from your shop?" And he says "Ah, hello Old man, what is on your mind?" "I would like that necklace you have there." I point at the necklace. I don't think anyone was even going to buy it anyways." We both laugh and I put the book into my satchel, and continue my walk in the City.

I am walking carelessly down the road and I see the orc threatening a dwarf. I then pursuit the conflict. I walk up to the orc and ask him why he is doing that to that to the poor little dwarf. And he just grunts at me and continues the threaten him.

"Thank you kind sir, would you like a few Minas for your travels?" I shake my head as I bend down and pick up the Minas. "No, I wouldn't take your Minas. Keep them. Buy a new cane, that one won't last long." We both laugh once again and I walk away.

After buying two swords from the dwarf, Lanolar tells the dwarf that he will be right back. Lanolar then proceeds to the center of town and begins shouting for a crowd to gather around him.
