Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from
elsewhere!:
Role-playing:
Taking the role of a character and experiencing the world through their eyes. You are the character, you drive his decisions and interact as him with others also playing a character.
Meta-gaming:
Taking OOC information, and using it to influence your characters decisions. Normally this is done to benefit yourself, such as hearing about a potential threat, and pre-emptively acting upon it. Maybe with extra protection, or laying down traps.
Power-emoting:
*BippityBoop uses his magical laser wand to disintegrate the oncoming enemy
forces.*
Basically, using Emotes to do something that:
A:
There is no way your character can do it. Completely unrealistic
B:
Is unfair to another character, such as instantly knocking them out/killing
them.
C:
Instantly performing a long action. Such as using it to completely Wash, clean, and polish your armor, in one Emote. Another example, as mentioned in the rules, is sending a letter via a bird in one Emote, not giving others a chance to react.
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Loche(Pronounced “Lock”) Faelcyn(Fay-eel-sin)
Current Age: 20
Sub-race (if any): N/A
Past/ History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Loche’s parents, Lyre Faelcyn, and Maren Faelcy, had him at a moderately older age. Lyre
was a Mercenary, who fought for the highest bidder. He spent most of his days
traveling, being hired and completing jobs, which is how he met his wife,
Maren. Maren was of the medical profession, although she did not advance very
far in that. She knew the basics very well though. Later, she moved onto
cooking after she met him. Lyre’s next and last job, was being hired by Maren’s
father to protect her on a trip from one city to another. During this trip,
they fell in love, and disregarded it entirely, to move away together.
They moved out into the woods in the north, to build a home of their own, and start
a family. They were very secluded and did not have much contact with other
people. They started their own gardens, had a river nearby, and hunted for
their own food.
When Loche was born, he did not have the company of other children, or the teaching
of other people. He was taught by his parents, how to read, write, and speak.
He learned a number of skills from his mother, from basic cooking, to low tiered
methods of healing wounds and splinting legs.
From his father he learned fighting and hunting. He started training at a very young
age, and was being brought up as a warrior. Although as he grew, he never
really filled out, and remained skinny. He had trouble holding the large blades
his father owned, and instead tried to move onto something else.
He tried archery, and loved it immediately.
Although his father never preferred protecting and fighting with a bow, he took
to it, and eventually began training himself. He began hunting wild boar, and began
helping to feed the family.
As the days went on, his mother became sick, and his father became more worried.
One afternoon, his father informed him he was taking mother to a nearby village
for help. Unfortunately, when his father returned a week later, his mother was
not with him. At the age of 15, He lost his mother.
After this had happened, his father dedicated all his days to training him, and
teaching him important things to know. Although he never mentioned much of the
land, or places to go, he shared information that Loche would take with him the
rest of his life. He taught him about being a mercenary, he told him about his
adventures. He trained him, harshly, day and night for years. He became even
more talented with a bow, even though his father did not approve. Loche never
became that good at swordplay, and eventually his father gave in, and let him
train in archery.
Loche would spend days out hunting, or practicing, but he never strayed too far from
the place he called home. At the age of 18, his father gave him the gift of his
old mercenary armor. A faded blue set of clothing, with minimal armor pieces
that fit on top and strapped in. Along with that, he gave him his two
gauntlets, which his father had made himself during his younger years.
After 2 years, and 4 months, his father finally sat him down to talk. His father
instructed him to leave, to go out into the world and make something of
himself. And so, after a weeks time, he found himself walking from his home,
the place he had never left, and spent his entire life. Into the unknown he
went, with limited knowledge of the world beyond the trees.
Ambitions for the Future:
To become a better fighter in hand to hand, and perfect his
bow skills. To explore the land, and learn more about it. To eventually gather
enough money to hire workers, build an inn, and settle down with a family.
Personality:
He normally is a very dull person, except with those he really cares about.
although he acts kind, polite and professional when he needs to. He is hard to
warm up to, but if you get used to him, he will act kind more genuinely.
He can be very morbid, and sometimes scary. He tells it like it is, nomatter how gruesome. He is not very squeamish and does not mind killing animals and people, but prefers not to if he can help it. He has good morals, and would not normally attack anyone unless being attacked or
threatened first.
He tries to help, and not make enemies. He has a few rules that he lives by, and
they have been burned into him from hearing them repeated his entire childhood.
Small things, such as “Think of yourself, there’s no reason to risk your life
if you don’t have to.” And “Stay sharp like your blade, be smart, and think
before you do”.
Skills:
Being a very slim and lightweight person, he has preferred to train more with a bow, than in hand to hand combat. Years of training have made him a very good shot.
He sometimes can notice things other people won’t, such as odd things in the environment, or strange movement and sounds.
Appearance: (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):
Physical appearance:
Loche stands at a slightly short height of 5 feet, 5 inches. He has
blond hair and green eyes, and a normal tan skin color. Loche is a bit on the
light side, only at about 120 pounds. He is not very muscular, and has more of
a runner’s body than a warrior’s body.
Clothing/armor:
Blue dyed clothing that is lightweight and is a bit larger than he is. The
clothing is accompanied by many strips of leather and straps to tighten and
loosen it. He uses very lightweight armor, which consists of a light metal
plate covering his chest, back, and shoulder pads extending from it. Knee and
shin armor on his legs, and long iron gauntlets that extend from his hands back
to almost his elbows. On the right gauntlet, the initials “L K F” Are very creepily
and crudely scratched in. On the Left, the initials “M R F” are also scratched
in, but more straight and detailed. His boots are made of leather, with two
plates of iron on each half of the sole, separated in the middle so it can
bend.
Any other details you wish to share about your character:
He is startled easily by the undead. He often seems very alert and paranoid, no
matter what he is doing. He has a fear of heights.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which
must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not
break character or lore at any point.
____
1.
Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily
making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There
are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer:
As I see the man running, I swiftly approach the guards. I calmly inform them
of the man and his actions, and where I last saw him, then go on my way. As I go,
I tell myself “It’s best not to get involved in something that is none of your
business. The guards can handle themselves; it’s their job after all.” And continue my way down the road.
2.
Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in
which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed
with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear
to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armor and an iron longsword,
how do you react?
Answer:
I grab a handful of dirt and dust in my left hand, and hold my sword out in front
with my right. I make a large commotion, swinging my sword at a nearby tree and
yelling towards them, hoping to distract them. As they turn to see me, I begin
to run towards them with my blade aiming forward, to run them through. The men,
distracted by me, turn in my direction and prepare to fight. This moment of
confusion gives the man a chance to swing, and connect with one of the bandits.
Meanwhile, I engage the first bandit. As he runs towards me, I quickly move to the side,
and throw the handful of dirt towards his face. As it hits his eyes, he is
blinded and I move in to impale him. I am tossed a bit off balance by him
almost ramming stomach first onto my sword, but I balance myself out, and pull
my sword from him. I quickly deal a killing blow to his neck, and move on to
help the man, who had connected with the other mans helmet, knocking him to the
ground. I approach, and kill the second bandit with a decapitating blow of my sword.
As the man thanks me, I begin sifting through the belongings of the bandit, arming myself with the gear they possessed. I give a nice “Your welcome, sir” To the man, and continue along my way through the woods with my new equipment.
3.
You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man
standing behind a colorful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the
man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just
about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to
haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of
choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer:
I spend time browsing, until I locate a weapon that interests me. A small knife,
that is beautifully engraved with runes, and made of a fine metal unknown to
me. I think to myself that is has to be valuable, so I attempt to buy it in a
sneaky fashion. “This blade here, I’m interested in it. Do you know of its
origins?” The man responds with a shake of his head. “No, I know not of where
it came, but I would be willing to sell it to you.” He responds.
I pick up the blade, and pretend to be inspecting it as if I know what I’m doing,
but I myself have no clue where it came from as well. “I’ll give you…” I pause,
and think deeply, but I’m interrupted by him. “I’ll give it to you for 500
Minas, if that’s good with you”, I look up from the blade, and respond quickly
with a new price, 200 Minas. To me, the blade looked almost priceless, but I didn’t
need to bring that up. “That’s a bit low” He responds, “How about 300 Minas. That’s
what I want, I don’t want any less.” I accept the offer, take the blade, and
move on my way without any trouble.

Brolland’s father Kartax began to teach them the ways of archery knowing Brolland’s attitude and how Brolland didn't like using bow, so Brolland told his father that he would more likely be better at learning how to dual wield long swords. 1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer:
Brolland saw elves picking on the boy and Brolland hated pain, every pain, including being scared, and no-one deserves it not even the attackers. So Brolland came in in his most scared voice and spoke to the surprised elves. “Who are you, and why are you here” Asked the elders? “I am the boy’s father, and I have to bring him home to punish him for defying you” Brolland lied. “Good,” they answered “he deserves the most severe punishment” They answered happily. “But y-” the boy was cut off by the howling coming from the woods. “Please, lets go back to village I am master with the sword so I can protect all of you on the way.” The elders and the child all frightened hurried back to the village, but they were grateful Brolland drew his sword and impressively attacked something out of view. That something made a howl and stopped as Brolland attacked They were relieved at how swiftly Brolland defeated the attacker. When they reached the village Brolland took the boy to his side, and said “Look don’t tell anyone but I didn’t want you to be scared so I pretended to be your father now go to your real father and tell the elders if they see your real father that I died and your mother remarried? Now go”. A symphony of howls came out of the forest and a pack a wolves followed afterward. Brolland charged toward them and they backed in the forest out of view, with brolland. All the howls ended but so did Brolland’s roar. The whole town mourned the death of the mysterious father and how he saved the city and the elders. Brolland went back to his horse and pulled out a large amount of treats and gave some to each wolf, while praising them. “That was a great show” he thought to himself. Not one person scared, well not that much and no one was in any pain. Pleased Brolland continued his voyage.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer:
Brolland is one that hates pain, so as soon as he sees the old man collapses he runs to his aid. His immediately diagnoses him and sees that the man is dying. To his best efforts Brolland tries to save the man but can only ease the pain. The man was talking to him, but Brolland did not understand him. Brolland brings a baby pup for the man to hold thinking it will ease the pain. But yet the man dies helplessly. He buries the man with his coins with all respect. Brolland went to a nearby rock and chiseled away a small gravestone for the man. In order to honor him. He stayed by the grave during the night up in the trees. but he saw someone come and start digging up the grave. Brolland went down and saw a young boy in ragged clothes he realised the boy was poor and did not have any money. He must've seen the money pouch Brolland thought. Brolland thought of a way to give money to the boy, he caught a nearby bird killed it painlessly and attached a small sack of money to it. He dropped the bird nearby the boy. The boy saw and left with the gold coins. Brolland came to the grave and fixed it he prayed it would not be harmed. Brolland stayed for the rest of the night and left in the morning.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer:
The trader calls Brolland over to show him a impressive feat, a saddle. the trader starts of at the high price of 5000 minas. The trader figured, as he saw Brolland is travelling with his two closest companions, his best wolves, he might have a horse. Brolland was surprised at the price no one would be that dumb to spend that much on a saddle, even if it was a good saddle. The trader saw Brolland starting to deny it so he needed to think of a story or he would leave. Brolland was impressed at the leatherwork on the saddle but was curious why It was such a high price? He asked in his rusty elven “Why is it so high priced?” The trader lied “This is no ordinary saddle this is the saddle that Native himself sat on! It is enchanted to fit on any mount.”. Brolland being as he is believed the trader and answered “Thats amazing?! But 5000 is too high even for such a saddle.”. “We can always haggle?” “I'm not much of haggling, How about 500?” “500?! Thats insane, look since I like you i'll give you it for 2500.” “No thats still too much. i'm being generous with 500 but it is of great quality and I don’t really have much use for my money,... Ill give you 1000 tops” “Deal! The trader was surprised at how stupid this guy was? He bought the saddle for 1000 thats insane? The trader was bewildered at astonished I must be a be a very good haggler. 1000 minas for a 50 mina cheap saddle. He smirked as he walked away but noticed Brolland took the saddle and let his creatures chew on it. Confused the trader went home. Brolland is smart enough to know it was fake but he loved making people happy so he did.

Full Name: Botan Alkaline
Current Age: 1201
Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf
Past /History(include childhood, major-events, etc.2+ paragraphs long):
Botan lived in an elven village when he was a young boy. His parents were working class farmers. On the farm, his brother taught him how to use a bow and a blade. His brother was in the army, but he had enough free time to teach his little brother, Botan. During his adolescence, Botan still wasn't able to work on his parents farm, because he was considered too young in elven culture. Because of this feeling of inferiority, Botan left home at the age of twenty, and headed toward a human city he thought he could find. During His adventure through the forest toward a city he though was on the other side, Botan stumbled on something. He saw what he thought were ruins in the forest, but after taking a closer look, he discovered there were people living in these ruins. But upon even further examination, he noticed that this was not a ruin, but a monastery. After talking to the kind elves and humans living in the monastery, Botan was invited to live there. Since he had not eaten for days and would soon collapse, he decided to stay there for the night. That night he had a big feast, and listened to a sermon afterword. He went to sleep and, the next day, he went to the follow up sermon for the one he had just listened to. It was there that he learned they were sending missionaries to a human city. Botan opted in for this task and was accepted into their order. After a successful mission with his fellow missionaries, Botan was noticed by the elder priest. After having a long chat with him, Botan decided to go to the seminary located in the monastery. I was there that he became known as a monk of the order, and eventually went on to be a priest. After the tragic murder of a high priest, he assumed his role as the new High Priest. Because of the abundance of humans in the monastery, moving through the ranks was quite easy for Botan, and he managed to achieve High Priesthood at the mere age of 100. Throughout the next 1100 years, Botan learned much from the Elder Priest. One day when talking to the Abbot, Botan realized he had never discovered who killed the previous High Priest. When looking into it further, he discovered all the High Priests eventually died by murder at the age of 1200. Because Botan's 1200th Birthday was coming up the next day, he decided something had to be done. It was then that Botan realized the importance of self-defense and started training, like the way his brother taught him. After fending off an attempted murder by the Abbot the next day, Botan decided to leave the monastary, even after all his hard work, and spread peace every where he could think of. Botan still views himself as a Priest to this day, but no longer has any affiliation with the monastery. Also, Botan managed to survive for so long because of the seclusion of the monastery he lived in.
Ambitionsfor the Future: To spread peace while protecting the innocent Personality: He is old and grumpy, but is also wise with wisdom to share. Skills: He is very powerful in speech, and can defend himself from petty threats, but is far to weak to challenge others. Appearance(this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Wears a hood, and keeps his ears always covered. He is about 5' 8" and has a white, short cut beard, he also wears the amulet of his religion. Link to my skin: http://www.minecraft...1742975/okuz-1/ Any other details you wish to share about your character: He does not speak in specific about his religion unless you ask him. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I slowly make my way up to the older elves, I tell them of how wrong it is to do this to a young elf. If they persist, I will take the young-ling away and explain to him how this once happened to me, if it stops I will give the same speech to the older and the younger elves.
Answer: I bend down slowly, as to not break my frail back, and clump all the coins back into his pockets. I then try to lift him up, but I am too weak. I give him my cane and tell him to use it to hoist himself up. I try helping him while he does that. I then ask him to walk with me to the nearest doctor, If he cant get up I go to the nearest doctor myself. If he doesn't want to see a doctor I leave him be, and warn the nearest elves I can find of his weak condition.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
I ask him about his day and try to make good friends with him. I go on to ask him if he has any bread or wine, if he does I then offer him a gold coin. If he doesn't, I walk away grumpily. If he accepts my offer I will thank him and walk back into the forest. If he refuses I will complain and tell him I only have one gold coin. Then, depending on what he says, I either walk away ed off, or happy.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Nicolas acts like nothing is going on that is suspicious. He sneaks up the side and manages to get around the back into the palace. Still keeping vision of him to a minimum he gets to the front. He then unsheathes his weapon, an iron shortsword, and waits for him to open the door. Moments later the knob turns and there he is. Nicolas slashes him once and he is wounded, it looks like the dark figure is in no shape to move at all, so I take him around the back so nobody sees him and I leave him there to die. Nicolas then walks back to his house to think about who the dark figure could be and what he was working for. He immediately gets to work, doing as much research as he can. He then finds out that the dark figure has been to many other places before and each time successfully killed his goal. Not this time though. Nicolas killed one of the most wanted people in all of Anthos.

He picks it up and eyes one of the bandits, and shoots the one in direct eyesight, he is blocking Nicolas' view of the old man. He then takes his chance and runs for him, the other bandit had no idea what happened so this is the perfect opportunity. When the bandit looks one way he dart the opposite way, trying to not give himself away. he is behind the tiny cottage. The bandit walks inside for some reason and Nicolas runs and grabs the old man. “Who are you?” The Old Man asks him. Nicolas makes a shushing motion with his hand, just so the old man knows to not give him away away. They escape with no harm to them done.

Is that good enough?” Nicolas responds, it’s a sword he really wants but he doesn't have the 60, he brought 50, but he will try a lower price. “40? Are you kidding me? That would make me go out of business! Tell you what, I’ll give it to you for 50, take it or leave it!” “Well, it is a very nice sword, that sounds like a deal then, I guess I will pay the 50, although it still seems a little too high, whatever, I guess this can get me even more money.” Nicolas takes the sword and pays the money.

His father stumbled across her in the woods, crying after having been beaten at the brothel. He instantly fell in love with the woman taking her to his cabin and mending her wounds. From that moment they were inseparable. Three years later she gave birth to a son, Danulus Romforth. Soon after the long and painful birth, Dan's mother died. Dan's father having married the woman of his dreams, blamed his infant child for her death.

While scavenging through the garbage for food, a man by the name of Gob found him and took him under his wing; training him in the art of hunting. At the age of 18 Danulus returned to Abresi to confront his malicious father. Upon his return he learned that his father had drank himself to the grave. Accepting his father's fate, Danulus sought out work in the human capitol. While looking through the various noticeboards and flyers, Danulus met a strange elf by the name of Spencer Cross. 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer:
Danulus shouts to the guards about the dark figure. The dark figure hears the shouting and quickens his steps and disappears into the dark alley. Danulus and the guards run into the alley and spot the shadowy figure. Seeing no escape the shadowy figure turns to face the group . The figure falls to his knees to surrender and as the guards close the gap, the man places his hands behind his back and before the guards can grab the man, he hops up and throws two small daggers he had pulled from his satchel behind him. One of the guards falls, wounded crying out in pain. The other avoids the dagger and swings his already drawn sword at the figure. The shadowy figure dodges the swing and sucker punches the second guard in the ribs, felling him. The shadowy figure then turns around and trys to run away. Danulus unshoulders his bow and draws an arrow from his quiver. He then notches the arrow, pulls it back and points it at the shadowy figure. He lets the arrow fly. The shadowy figure collapses as the arrow penetrates his back. The guard stands up grabbing his side he runs to the figure to check him. Danulus shoulders his bow and goes back to his own business.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer:
Danulus draws his longsword and shouts to the two bandits. The bandits turn around, seeing a man in leather armor the leader tells the other bandit to take care of Danulus. The follower bandit walks toward Danulus drawing his sword. Danulus readys himself as the bandit closes the gap. The bandit takes the first swing toward Danulus' jugular. Danulus simply leans back and takes a stab at the bandit. Underestimating the leather armored man he takes a direct stab to the gut. The surprised bandit falls to the ground. Looking toward the felled bandit, the leader pushes the old man to the ground, kicking him as he falls. The leader turns to Danulus and aggressively swings at him. Danulus blocks the attack. The leader bandit swings again, harder than the last. Danulus barely brings his sword up in time to block the second swing. The bandit swings a third time, with enough power to cut a tree in two. Danulus doesn't get his sword up in time and the bandit's sword slices through Danulus' sword arm like butter. As the sword and arm fall to the ground so does Danulus. Danulus looks up at the bandit leader.
As the bandit raises his sword to finish off the would be hero, a sword appears from the belly of the bandit leader. The leader falls to the ground. The old man then helps Danulus into his house to mends his wound.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer:
Danulus approaches the stall. He asks the vendor if he is selling arrows. The vendor is selling the arrows at 5 minas each. Danulus is shocked at the price. He suggests 2 minas if i buy in bulk. The vendor laughs and reminds the shopper arrows are in demand and in short supply. Danulus looks at the vendor and reminds the vender up the road is selling them for 3 minas apiece. The vendor goes down to 4 minas. Danulus begins to walk away. The vendor gives in and sells them for 3 minas apiece. Danulus walks away with a full quill knowing full in well the vendor up the road would never sell arrows for 3 minas apiece.

He told his wife to get on his mule, and ride to Hobbiton, since it was the closest to Bree. As Artyum climbed onto his house's roof, and rained arrows upon the orc, he heard his wife screaming his name. He rushed to where he heard his wife and he saw he running to the woods, with an orc behind her. As he sprinted with all his might towards the gruesome orc l, the orc got closer and closer to his wife and daughter. The orc cornered them in a tree, and as he raised his sword, Artyum released an arrow and yelled: "You stay away from my girls!" As the orc turned around, laughing, with the arrow sticking up his shoulder.
Orc: So these filthy peasants are yours? Well then let's see how much you're willing to sacrifice for them", he said while raising his sword, pointing it at Artyum.
Artyum: Anna, don't you worry. This will only take a minute.

Orc: *Grunt* I kinda felt that one. Filthy rat! I'll rip your heart out!

Artyum: I'll kill you, and every last orc that cam- *grunt* to this town.
Orc laughing: You? You're almost dead... Well I'll just have to kill you before I kill her.
Artyum: No one touches my little girl. He raises the arrow, the orc raises his sword. As the orc growls and runs to Artyum, he blocks the sword pushing it away with his hand, losing his wedding ring finger, stabs the arrow straight into the orc's eye, and falls down beside the dead orc.
Artyum: Look away honey! *grunt* lo- look away...
He gets up picks his little girl up and as he's walking away, an arrow pierces the little girl's stomach.

As he looks back he sees a wolf, sitting behind him starring at him straight in the eyes.

Full Name: Botan Alkaline
Current Age: 1201
Sub-race (if any): High Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Botan lived in Laurelin when he was a young boy. His parents were working class farmers. On the farm, his brother taught him how to use a bow and a blade. His brother was in the army, but he had enough free time to teach his little brother, Botan. During his adolescence, Botan still wasn't able to work on his parent’s farm, because he was considered too young in elven culture. Because of this feeling of inferiority, Botan left home at the age of twenty, and headed toward a human city he thought he could find, called Al'Khazar.
During His adventure through the forest toward Al'Khazar, Botan stumbled on something. It was there that he learned they were sending missionaries to Al'Khazar. Throughout the next 20 years, Botan learned much from the Elder Priest. One day when talking to the Abbot, Botan realized he had never discovered who killed the previous High Priest. When looking into it further, he discovered all the High Priests eventually died by murder at the age of 120. Because Botan's 120th Birthday was coming up the next day, he decided something had to be done. It was then that Botan realized the importance of self-defense and started training, like the way his brother taught him. After fending off an attempted murder by the Abbot the next day, Botan decided to leave the monastary, even after all his hard work, and spread peace everywhere he could think of. He decided to travel back to Al'Khazar and spread his ways. But, unfortunately, by the time he got to Al'Khazar, the city was under attack by undead. He then decided to leave.
After taking a ship to Elandriel in Asulon, Botan realized that the canopy above it would prove good to a monastery there. After several attempts and impending failures to start up a new religion in Elandriel because of the fights over the dark forest with Menorcress, Botan decided to try somewhere else. Despite his earlier failures with the humans, Botan entered the kingdom of Renatus. Because of the massive flow of humans coming from Aegis, Botan had some competition. Noticing the strength of his competitors, Botan got a job in a library to support him in the meantime. As the days passed Botan read more and more about humans and their history. By the time the Holy Oren Empire came around, the humans’ religions were too strong for a new competitor. Botan knew he had to step up his game, so he left Asulon and traveled to Anthos, soon after Asulon fell. By then Botan was too old and frail to start up a new religion. Botan decided to travel across the Anthos highway, and spread his teachings to anyone who would listen. Botan still considers himself a monk to this day, but is no longer a priest.
Ambitions for the Future: To spread peace while protecting the innocent.
Personality: He is old and grumpy, but is also wise with wisdom to share.
Skills: He is very powerful in speech, and can defend himself from petty threats, but is far too weak to challenge others.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Wears a hood, and keeps his ears out of his hair. He is about 5' 8" and has white-gray hair, and a white-gray beard; he also wears the amulet of his religion. Link to my skin: http://www.minecraft...48321/high-elf/
Any other details you wish to share about your character: He does not speak in specific about his religion unless you ask him. (It is the belief in the Agum, an all en composing force). Botan’s eyes are multi colored because of a dye ritual that took place during his Priesthood involving a clear gel and a translucent paint.

____
As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I slowly make my way up to the older elves, I tell them “What if you were this youngster?” If they persist, I will take the young-ling away and explain to him: “This happened to me when I was your age… I understand your frustration.”, if it stops I will give the same speech to the older and the younger elves.
Answer: I bend down slowly, as to not break my frail back, and clump all the coins back into his pockets. I then try to lift him up, but I am too weak. I give him my cane and tell him: “Hoist your’ self-up! I’m too weak to do it myself.” I try helping him while he does that. I then ask him: “Do you think you can make it to a doctor?” If he can’t get up I go to the nearest doctor myself. If he doesn't want to see a doctor I leave him be, and warn the nearest elves I can find of his weak condition by shouting “We have a weak one among us! I fear for his well-being!”
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. (Please include: - item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
I ask him “How was your day?” And try to make good friends with him. I go on to ask him: “You have any bread or wine?”, if he does I then offer him a gold coin. If he doesn't, I walk away grumpily. If he accepts my offer I will say: “Thank you.” And walk back into the forest. If he refuses I will complain and tell him: “I only have one gold coin.” Then, depending on what he says, I’ll either walk away ed off, or happy.

Full Name: Faedryn Legadia
Current Age: 24
Sub-race (if any): Wood elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Faedryn Legadia was born a wood elf in his father's small shack deep within the woods of Malinor. He was an only child isolated from the rest of the world, so, he spent most of his time exploring the surrounding woods. One dark night in winter when he was about to turn seven, he ventured deeper into the forest than he had before, and became lost. He did not know what to do. By midnight, he had given up searching and had climbed a tree to spend the night, safe. He awoke to the sound of his name being called by his father.
It took his parents almost a year to let him go outside again, but this time, Faedryn was ready. He used a piece of paper and some ink that his father had given him to slowly map out the area. He started with just a couple hundred meters out of his cabin, marking streams and landmarks, drawing in trees and hills. As he grew older, he explored deeper and deeper, making his map larger and larger, until it stretched for miles.
One day he was out in the forest, making his map, when he heard a yell. He ran through the forest until he found an old elf, laying on the ground, with a deep cut in his leg. Faedryn was speechless.
'Sir! What happened?' He asked.
'Humans.... Bandits.... they attacked...' The old man grumbled through clenched teeth.
'Which way did they go?' Faedryn asked.
The old man feebly lifted a finger, pointing at the direction of Faedryn's home. Faedryn leapt up.
'I will come back for you sir!' Faedryn ran as fast as he could.
When he got home. He found a flaming shack crumbling. He ran through the flames, but fell on his face burning him from the nose down. Inside he found a charred body, his father. His mother was nowhere to be found. Faedryn was devastated. His parents were the only other people he knew. He cried and cursed the gods for their cruelty. In his pain, he never went back to the old man.
He left. He had nothing on him but his map, but he left. He eventually came to the great City of Leumalin. The amount of elves astonished him, and he was very quiet and kept to himself. He found himself a job assisting the local librarian. Eventually he settled in and made some close friends, but he knew he was different.
Ambitions for the Future: Faedryn hopes to do his best at serving his nation of Malinor, maybe by joining the Sentinels.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: Faedryn does not wish to be hasty, and hides in the cover of the trees to watch. He takes note of the Elves. The older elves are enjoying themselves, smiles on their faces as they taunt the child. The child is curled up in a ball at the foot of a tree, whimpering. Faedryn watches as the tallest elf, obviously the one in charge, draws a gleaming dagger from his belt. Faedryn knows he needs to stop them. He looks around on the forest floor until he finds a rock. He proceeds to throw the rock at the tall elf, striking him in the back of the head. The elf stumbles, clutching his head as he looks around for the attacker. The elves run back in the direction of the throw. Faedryn, seeing this, silently moves around the trees to the child. As he reaches the child, the child looks up at him with fear in his eyes, Faedryn responds by motioning him to remain silent, and then picks up the child and moves away, silently. They are far away when Faedryn hears a surprised yell from behind.
Answer: Faedryn looks at the gold, then back at the old man, weighing his options. He thinks back to the old man he left in the woods. This was a human though. And humans are not to be trusted. He picks up the gold coins. and walks away. After a couple feet he looks back at the old man. Who looks up at Faedryn with pleading eyes. Faedryn quickly looks at his feet, averting his eyes. A silence follows, broken only when Faedryn sighs and returns to the old man. He helps the old man up, who is surprisingly heavy. Faedryn slowly hands the gold back to the man.
'Here you go.' He says.
'You take it. It will be more use to you than it will to me.' The old man says.
Faedryn thanks the man, with slightly more respect for humans than he had before.
Answer: Faedryn walks over to the merchant.
'Step right up, young elf, let me show what I have!' The merchant says in an annoying sort of way. 'If you see anything you like, just ask me about it.'
Faedryn looks over his products, debating. 'I need some sheets of paper for a map. Can you get me some?'
'Why of course good sir! I have some of the finest quality paper in Malinor! Guaranteed to last for years!' The merchant smiles as he opens a small cupboard in the carriage. He pulls out clean paper, which actually looked good quality to Faedryn. He checks his coin pouch, 20 Minas.
'How much paper do you want?' The merchant asks.
'8 sheets. How much do you want for it.'
The merchant smiles. '30 Minas.'
Faedryn frowns. 'Thats thievery. I refuse to pay that much.'
'A pity,' The merchant says, 'It is, in fact, high quality.'
'The most I am paying is 20.' Faedryn says.
The merchants smile wavers. 'The least I am doing is 25.' He says coldly.
Faedryn leans in close to the merchant.
'Listen. You want money, I want paper. Now, we could both get what we want or not, your choice. And tell me, honestly, what are the chances of another elf coming through these woods wanting paper. Tell me.'
The merchant bites his lip. 'Fine.' He says, finally. '20 Minas.'
The two proceed to make their trade and go their separate ways. Faedryn looks back once, and sees the merchant sit in a chair, waiting for another customer.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: Dan would approach the group of Elves and says
-Good afternoon. So um, what is going on here? Why are thou making a mockery of this young fellow?-
Knowing that it could go either way, them listening to him, or not caring. If they just ignore him, here is how it would go.
-I am forced to ask you all to go, or else- while he reaches for his bow as a threat. But if they pay attention to what he has to say, it would probably go a little like this.
-This is not how you treat another person, respect to be respected, one day, when you are old and fragile, this young man (or girl) will be stronger, more agile, and more capable of what you think. So think about it, and leave him/her alone.-
Answer: Dan, like everybody else, will be tempted to take the coins, he needs them for his travels. But knowing this man is old and defenseless, he would need them more than Dan himself.
-Excuse me, are you alright?- Asks Dan in a worried tone.
-Help me please..- Says the old man. He sounds as if he was in a lot of pain. Dan quickly picks up all the coins out of the pouch and puts them back in the old mans sack. then he lifts up the old and fragile man hands him his coins and helps him walk to the nearest town.
-Sir, if it isn't too much to ask, do you have any advice to give me? I am young and still foolish, and I want to learn.- Dan was told to listen to the elders, they are the wisest among all the races, and they have the knowledge to teach us the things we are too foolish to understand.
-Of course young one, I will as soon as we get to the town.-

-Alright, I will take 15 potatoes, two flasks of water, and four carrots.-
The man hands him his supplies.
-That will be 23 Minas-
-I only have 20- Dan lied. He needed the money for an Inn that's in the next town.

Definitions In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:
Role-playing: Roleplaying is essentially creating a character to dissolve into and interact with other, well, characters! The biggest joy of roleplay is the impromptu nature of the play style and the rewards it brings.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is using 'Out of Character' (OOC) knowledge to use in 'In Character' (IC) events or situations. An example would be a guard "knowing" somebody was a thief because they had a villian application.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is giving a character unrealistic power or skill. It ruins the spirit of any encounter and is no fair to other roleplayers.
In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Thorten Clay Raynor
Current Age: 22
Sub-race (if any): Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Thorten Raynor was born in the northern area of Anthos. He
lived on an isolated farm with nothing more than his family and the cattle they
used for food. Thorten’s family
consisted of his mother, father, and older brother, Victan. Being just a bit
south of the lands inhabited by Bohra, it was not uncommon for conflict to
arise for the Raynor family. By Northerner standards, Victan was a trophy
child, and the problems that most local Bohra caused were squashed by Victan’s
mighty combat prowess. Much of late childhood and early adulthood included
Victan being honored by tradition as being a perfect warrior. This left Thorten
to do much of the maintenance on Victan’s battle equipment while the parents
attended the farm.
Whenever not being obligated to polish his brother’s armor
and axe, Thorten took much interest in what little he could learn. Though no
formal education and no real opportunity to have one at his family farm, the
stories his father told the family on The Ancient History astounded Thorten.
The thoughts of other humans like himself one day exploring the seven skies became
an obsession for Thorten. While Thorten still obeyed his duties to the letter,
his mind strayed to the wondrous cities he could one day visit. What was
initially a comforting idea became the desire to act.
Though often overshadowed by his brother, Thorten was never
disrespected or mistreated by his family. Therefore, Thorten was torn at his
decision to leave his family farmstead, but ultimately decided to go. One day,
Thorten gave his family the news that he wished to venture out of the isolated
north and try to find out what human civilization was like. His family – though
shocked at first – honored his decision and sent him off with a blessing, few
words of wisdom, food, leather armor, and an iron longsword. Thorten has now
set out, with his head held high and eager to understand the world around him.
Ambitions for the Future: Thorten desires to explore and meet people, and has an even greater desire to have a formal education.
Personality: Thorten is a true introvert, and accepts humility as a necessary virtue. While shy, he has no problem striking up a conversation if need be. Though his adventure speaks differently, Thorten is usually cautious and open-minded.
Skills: Thorten is mediocre at raising livestock and has minimal exposure to blacksmith skills.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Thorten has green eyes, short brown hair, and shaggy sideburns/eyebrows. He has a pale complexion and is taller than most Northerners. However, due to his non-strenuous work, Thorten is also not very muscular.
Any other details you wish to share about your character: Though not formally educated, Thorten is far from stupid!
Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Thorten appeared confused. He only just got here and there's already people up to no good! The stealthy nature of the person was eerie to Thorten, so he decided to act. Figuring he didn't want to make a fool of himself in case this was just a training drill or unheard-of custom, Thorten briskly walked to the closest guard and quietly asked if the guards had a drill going on. The guard scoffed, "Why, of course not! It's late in the evening. What nonsense are you speaking, boy?!"
Wincing, Thorten tried to explain himself as best as possible, "Well, there's- um, somebody sneaking to the palace right now." The guard, suspecting that Thorten could be trying to potentially distract him grabbed Thorten's arm and yelled for the other guards to scour the area. With luck, they caught a glimpse of the would-be assassin, but he ultimately got away. Happy that the emperor was safe, but distraught that the assassin got away, he let go of Thorten and apologized. Shortly thereafter, security around the area was nearly doubled.
Answer: Thorten notices the ordeal and he immediately begins to panic. He thinks as quickly as he can and devises a makeshift plan. He runs up to the scene and acts like he has no idea what is going on, "Is this where I deliver the 400 minas to?" Of course, this quickly draws the attention of the bandits and they grin from ear to ear. Losing interest in the old man, they walk menacingly in Thorten's direction. Thorten backs up slowly as he notices the old man catch on and run back inside to hide or flee with his valuables.
The chase is on! The bandits picked up their speed as they pursued Thorten along the path, but ultimately their gear weighed them down and they couldn't keep up with Thorten. Upon losing the bandits, Thorten sat against a tree and prayed and hoped that the old man would be well-hidden or long-gone by the time the bandits returned.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Thorten walked up to the stall rather nonchalantly, acting as if he really didn't care to have anything in particular. Quickly observing the stall, Thorten noticed a large supply of books. Thorten acted like he was interested in an iron sword when jokingly remarked, "Ha! Books? Who in Anthos reads those for fun anymore?"
The merchant goes along with the joke, "Oh-oh-oh! I know, I know! They don't do me really much any good, 'specially 'cause all that most people wanna read is them magic books. -- Erm, but why? You interested? Five minas a book!"
Thorten laughs, "Please! Like I would pay that much for kindling. I was just trying to help you unload that worthless junk, rather than let it take up your stall space. I was just trying to help you - not me."
The merchant squints, "15 minas for the sword."
Thorten frowns slightly and explains, "I only have 12 minas, so I can't afford such a fine sword. But, I'll do you a favor. I'll buy 8 books for all of my minas. Just be sure to remember my good deed next time I come to do business."

At the age of 10, his father thought Neron multiple farming actions and the common types of flowers in the forest. At the age of 20, Neron's father thought it was time to teach Neron animal herding and sword mastering. Neron was actually really bad at swords, thus his father thought him how to use a bow.
8 years after mastering a bow and arrow(and not a sword yet)... Neron's father went out to gather some flowers for spice making. He went out at morning but still did not come back at night. Neron and his mother were worried, thus talked to the sentinel about it. A search team was later deployed.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: I am walking through the forest to get some flowers when I hear a sound and walk closer to it. I then began listening intently and hear insults and snickering. I also hear a faint noise a crying. I walk closer ans see what is happening. A group of elves aged around 30-60 was mocking a younger elf. I then was quite angry at the scene and stomp out of the hiding place and talk sternly at them. "Hey don't mock at that young child! Stop as your acting as you are strong guys!" I shouted sternly at them. They snarled back at me, but knowing they cannot engage into combat as said in the elven lore, they walk away. I then lead the sniffing young elf back home.
Answer: I am walking outside, going for a morning stroll when I come across a frail old elf, walking slowly and weakly with his walking stick. I wondered how old was he when he suddenly collapsed onto the ground, coins dropping everywhere. I look at the old elf for a while when I have this immediate action to help him. I help him up and pick up is walking stick and give it to himl, I then settled him on a nearby cut log and pick up the gold coins and place them into the old elf's pouch of coins and bring him back to the city, and to the inn as he says he wants to rest there for a while. That night after helping the old man, walk back to my tavern where I see the same old elf placing the same packet of coins on my table and he turns around, smiling. he also carries no walking stick which puzzles me. I then go inside to greet him but realises he was not there, although the bag of coins still lie on the table. I take it and read a letter saying 'For you, thank you'. I take the bag of coins and whisper, "Thank you too,"

Answer: I'm out gathering fruits when I come across a trader. He shouts in his colourful carriage," Hey do you want something here? I've got alot of things for sale here! How about this mystery cube eh? I cant seem to open it but there's something inside! If you can open it I'll give it to you for free!"He lends me the box and I finger it around. The cube had a golden question mark and the box was made of dark wood. I then notice a small circle which had a few symbols on it. "Hmm, maybe if I do this..."I muttered to myself. I take my end of my gold staff and twist it around in a clockwise motion and here a click, but nothing opens. The trader stares at me trying to open the box and muttered to himself some words that I could not catch. I then place my golden end of the staff and twisted it in the same way as before at the same spot and there was a click. After that, a creaking sound could be heard and the top opened. I opened the box and there were a few rare herbs, old but still usable, and a few gold coins. "Nay, I give it to you then, I won't go against my word,"the trader sighed. I pick up a gold coin from the box and throw it into the tip box of the trader and walk away into the woods.

Full Name: Botan Alkaline
Current Age: 1201
Sub-race (if any): High Elf
Past / History (include
childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Botan lived in Laurelin when he was a young boy. His parents were working class
farmers. On the farm, his brother taught him how to use a bow and a blade. His
brother was in the army, but he had enough free time to teach his little
brother, Botan. During his adolescence, Botan still wasn't able to work on his parent’s
farm, because he was considered too young in elven culture. Because of this
feeling of inferiority, Botan left home at the age of twenty, and headed toward
a human city he thought he could find, called Al'Khazar.
During
His adventure through the forest toward Al'Khazar, Botan stumbled on something.
He saw what he thought were ruins in the forest, but after taking a closer
look, he discovered there were people living in these ruins. But upon even
further examination, he noticed that this was not a ruin, but a monastery.
After talking to the kind elves and humans living in the monastery, Botan was
invited to live there. Since he had not eaten for days and would soon collapse,
he decided to stay there for the night. That night he had a big feast, and
listened to a sermon afterword. He went to sleep and, the next day, he went to
the follow up sermon for the one he had just listened to. It was there that he
learned they were sending missionaries to Al'Khazar. Botan opted in for this
task and was accepted into their order. After a successful mission with his
fellow missionaries, Botan was noticed by the elder priest. After having a long
chat with him, Botan decided to go to the seminary located in the monastery. It
was there that he became known as a monk of the order, and eventually went on
to be a priest. After the tragic murder of a high priest, he assumed his role
as the new High Priest. Because of the abundance of humans in the monastery,
moving through the ranks was quite easy for Botan, and he managed to achieve
High Priesthood at the mere age of 100. Throughout the next 20 years, Botan
learned much from the Elder Priest. One day when talking to the Abbot, Botan
realized he had never discovered who killed the previous High Priest. When
looking into it further, he discovered all the High Priests eventually died by
murder at the age of 120. Because Botan's 120th Birthday was coming up the next
day, he decided something had to be done. It was then that Botan realized the
importance of self-defense and started training, like the way his brother
taught him. After fending off an attempted murder by the Abbot the next day,
Botan decided to leave the monastary, even after all his hard work, and spread
peace everywhere he could think of. He decided to travel back to Al'Khazar and
spread his ways. But, unfortunately, by the time he got to Al'Khazar, the city
was under attack by undead. He then decided to leave.
After taking a ship to Elandriel in Asulon,
Botan realized that the canopy above it would prove good to a monastery there.
After several attempts and impending failures to start up a new religion in
Elandriel because of the fights over the dark forest with Menorcress, Botan
decided to try somewhere else. Despite his earlier failures with the humans,
Botan entered the kingdom of Renatus. Because of the massive flow of humans
coming from Aegis, Botan had some competition. Noticing the strength of his
competitors, Botan got a job in a library to support him in the meantime. As
the days passed Botan read more and more about humans and their history. By the
time the Holy Oren Empire came around, the humans’ religions were too strong
for a new competitor. Botan knew he had to step up his game, so he left Asulon
and traveled to Anthos, soon after Asulon fell. By then Botan was too old and
frail to start up a new religion. Botan decided to travel across the Anthos
highway, and spread his teachings to anyone who would listen. Botan still
considers himself a monk to this day, but is no longer a priest.
Ambitions for the Future:
To spread peace while protecting the innocent.
Personality: He is old
and grumpy, but is also wise with wisdom to share.
Skills: He is very powerful in speech, and can
defend himself from petty threats, but is far too weak to challenge others.
Appearance (this must
include an in-game
screenshot of your skin): Wears a hood, and keeps his ears out of
his hair. He is about 5' 8" and has white-gray hair, and a white-gray beard;
he also wears the amulet of his religion. Link to my skin: http://www.minecraft...48321/high-elf/
Any other
details you wish to share about your character: He does not speak in specific about his
religion unless you ask him. (It is the belief in the Agum, an all en
composing force). Botan’s eyes are multi colored because of a dye ritual
that took place during his Priesthood involving a clear gel and a translucent
paint.

____
As you walk through the deep forests you hear the
sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you
realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven
child. How do you react?
Answer: I slowly make my way up to the older elves, I tell them in a wary tone: “What if you
were this youngster?” If they persist, I
will take the young-ling away and explain to him: “This happened to
me when I was your age… I understand your frustration.” and then guide him back to what he was doing, if it stops I will
give a speech to the older and younger elves. In this speech I will state: "In this diverse society of elves, it is hard to get along with the premature. But in comparison to humans, these elves are geniuses! And I know quite a few smart humans myself."
2. Whilst wandering
through the Elven forests you come across a frail old
man with a walking stick. He collapses in front
of you, falling to the ground with a sharp
thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which
hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the
pathway. The man lies
there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: I bend down
slowly, as to not break my frail back, and clump all the coins back into the small pouch and quickly stuff the pouch back into his
pockets. I then try to lift him up, but I am too weak and my back makes a quite cracking noise.I feel my back, as if to make sure it is still in tact and I give him my cane and
tell him: “Hoist your self-up! I’m too weak to do it myself.” I try helping
him up with what little energy I have leftwhile he provides most of the effort. I then ask him: “Do you think you can make it to a
doctor?” If he can’t get up I go to the nearest doctor myself and tell him/her: "I found and old man in the woods, he needs help." If he can get up and doesn't
want to see a doctor I leave him be, and warn the nearest elves I can find of
his weak condition by shouting “We have a weak one among us! I fear for his well-being!”
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come
across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A
trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of
his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about
everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What
does your character do? (Please include: - item, haggling for prices and the
discussion involved).
I ask him “How
was your day?” And try to make good friends with him by chatting in this amiable manner. I go on to ask him: “ Do you happen to
have any bread or wine?”, if he does I then offer him a few gold coins. If he
doesn't, I walk away grumpily and stomp my feet lightly (otherwise I would hurt myself). If he accepts my offer I will say: “Thank you, I'll be sure to come back sometime soon.”
And walk back into the forest. If he refuses I will complain and tell him: “I
only have one more gold coin.” Then, depending on what he says, I’ll either walk
away happy with a slight skip to my step, then stumble over and break my back because I was skipping, or give him my last gold coin in my pocket. In the best scenario I walk away happy after that, and in the worst I walk away with my shoulders drooped down and my hands flailing, all while mumbling to myself how it could have been such a good deal.

After about two years of working with him a fatal accident occurred and he had been killed instantly. I was never too joyful from that day on... 1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: I would simply watch and see what the commotion is from a distance. It would be a bad idea to get involved with the dark clothed figure and try and aid him/her at the capitol. It would also be a bad idea to try and engage the figure and help the guards, in case they thought that I WAS aiding him/her.
Answer: Upon witnessing the events, I would make haste towards the bandits and attempt to hail them. If they react hostilely towards me, I would be prepared to lunge my sword through the closest bandit and attempt to rearm in time for the other assailant. Upon defeating the bandits (if fate would so like to go that way) I would contact the old man in hope for a reward. If they hailed without hostility I would then begin to commmunicate to them: "What are you doing to this elder?. He does not deserve to be robbed!". They would then begin to tell me that they had to make ends meet somehow, and I would gladly volunteer some coin to help the old man and hope for a reward from him.
Answer: I look down at his wares and notice a particularly decorated war hammer lying awkwardly on the table. "I'l take the hammer for say... 12 gold..." The stand keeper looks at me wide eyed. "You're mad if you think i'l give up the weapon for such a meager price," pulling it closer to him. I then withdraw a blade from my cloak and continue to barter,"It's 12 gold... or no gold...". He stares at me about to scream and I pull the blade out further. He quickly hands me the hammer in exchange for the gold. I retreat quickly into some of the capital's back alleys just in time to escape the guards approaching the stand.

I give a nice “Your welcome, sir” To the man, and continue along my way through the woods with my new equipment.

about anything and that he has no set prices.
Punch a friggin tree.

“Please, lets go back to village I am master with the sword so I can protect all of you on the way.”
The elders and the child all frightened hurried back to the village, but they were grateful Brolland drew his sword and impressively attacked something out of view. That something made a howl and stopped as Brolland attacked
They were relieved at how swiftly Brolland defeated the attacker.

“We can always haggle?”
“I'm not much of haggling, How about 500?”
“500?! Thats insane, look since I like you i'll give you it for 2500.”
“No thats still too much. i'm being generous with 500 but it is of great quality and I don’t really have much use for my money,... Ill give you 1000 tops”
“Deal!
The trader was surprised at how stupid this guy was? He bought the saddle for 1000 thats insane? The trader was bewildered at astonished I must be a be a very good haggler. 1000 minas for a 50 mina cheap saddle. Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Botan Alkaline
Current Age: 1201
Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

____
Answer: Nicolas sees this old man looking like he is crying. He is about to go over when he notices the old man is not alone. There are two bandits laughing and threatening him with his life. Nicolas walks over with his sword and sneaks his way around. Luckily, he finds a wooden shortbow and one arrow already loaded in.
Answer: Nicolas looks about his offerings, asking questions and such, to get an idea of what he would like. he then spots a nice shortsword that would suit his needs. he asks how much this would be.
“60 Minas, unless you have another price?” The man tells him
“Hmmm, how about 40 Minas? Is that good enough?” Nicolas responds, it’s a sword he really wants but he doesn't have the 60, he brought 50, but he will try a lower price.
“40? Are you kidding me? That would make me go out of business! Tell you what, I’ll give it to you for 50, take it or leave it!”
“Well, it is a very nice sword, that sounds like a deal then, I guess I will pay the 50, although it still seems a little too high, whatever, I guess this can get me even more money.” Nicolas takes the sword and pays the money.

Artyum was born with a scar on his abdomen, and further medical examination showed that he suffered an injury while in his mother's whomb that left his abdomen weak. His father always insisted that Artyum should open up a Buisness, or an Inn; something safe, since his wound could probably cost him his life. When he was 10 his bbrother started to take him hunting through the woods, and his brother taught him to shoot an arrow, and how to hunt.
Orc: Indeed it will. He said while running towards Artyum. Artyum pulling out an arrow from his quiver dodged the orc's sword and stabbed it on the orc's neck.
Orc: *Grunt* I kinda felt that one. Filthy rat! I'll rip your heart out!
He punched Artyum in the abdomen, and while he is stunned he picks him up and throws him to a tree, leaving him almost unconcious.
Orc: Now, don't you die yet. I want you to see this. He says while walking towards his wife.
He picks up his sword and as he raises it, Artyum screams: "Aaannaaa! And the orc rams his sword through her chest. The little girl then ran to her dad.
Girl: Daddy, please get up. She says while tears are flooding her eyes.
Artyum gets up and with a single arrow on his hand. Looks at the orc.
Artyum: "Aura!" Artyum sees an orc with a bow and quickly draws his bow and shoots an arrow straight to his forehead.
Artyum: A-Aura... I'll- I'll get you out of this. Hold on...". He pull's the arrow out of her stomach as she screams.
Aura: Dad- Daddy...
Artyum stares into her eyes as her's close.

It was there that he learned they were sending missionaries to Al'Khazar.

Personality: Faedryn is mildly pessimistic, but is also kind. He still is quiet but is friendly if you get to know him.
Skills: Faedryn is remarkably good at map making. And he can also be very stealthy if he so wishes. He is also adept at using a sword.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Faedryn is six feet two inches and has light purple eyes. He is of moderate strength, and is always wearing a covering over the lower half of his face. He has tannish brown skin.

____

So think about it, and leave him/her alone.-
-Of course young one, I will as soon as we get to the town.-
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's

(Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion
involved).
Answer: Dan Aer runs up to the carriage since he has not bought anything in days and he will run out of food soon.
-Excuse me, do you happen to sell any bread- Asked Dan eagerly.
-No I'm sorry, we are sold out. But I do have potatoes and carrots.-
-Alright, I will take 15 potatoes, two flasks of water, and four carrots.-
The man hands him his supplies.
-That will be 23 Minas-
-I only have 20- Dan lied. He needed the money for an Inn that's in the next town.
-Alright.- The man took the coins -Just don't tell anyone about this-
-My lips are sealed- Dan replied. Walking away and heading to the next town on his way back home.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms.
In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

____
The merchant grins. "Deal!"

Screaming and weeping could be heard even outside the house, even the sentinels tried to calm here down but to no avail, she kept on weeping.
Neron's mother seemed to have died of depression 7 months after his father's death. He sat in his now owned tavern, thinking to himself.

In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions
from elsewhere!:

exercise, story. In other words, assuming to role of someone or something to
participate in an activity.
Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming
is using information not RP’ly perceived to help you, in other words, it is use
of outside info to help you in game. For Example, your friend is evil in an RP
and has told you this in real life, you go on to tell everyone in this RP that
he is evil.
Power-emoting: Forcing your actions on
another player, controlling role-play, for example killing someone without
their consent.

Appearance (this must
include an in-game
screenshot of your skin): Wears a hood, and keeps his ears out of
his hair. He is about 5' 8" and has white-gray hair, and a white-gray beard;
he also wears the amulet of his religion. Link to my skin: http://www.minecraft...48321/high-elf/
Any other
details you wish to share about your character: He does not speak in specific about his
religion unless you ask him. (It is the belief in the Agum, an all en
composing force). Botan’s eyes are multi colored because of a dye ritual
that took place during his Priesthood involving a clear gel and a translucent
paint.

Each question in this section
must be answered with a
minimum of one paragraph which must describe theevent in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore
at any point.

Full Name: Jack Shadow
Current Age: 22
Sub-race (if any): N/A
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): When I was young, at the age of 16, I had worked with my father at a lumber mill. After about two years of working with him a fatal accident occurred and he had been killed instantly. I was never too joyful from that day on... Soon after I took command of the mill and grew to love inventions. I would create useless tools to myself but I could always sell the crafts to miners or entrepreneurs.
At the age of 19 I left my widowed mother to find a home for myself. I ended up traveling until the age of 22 (I plan to pick up the story their) to begin my biggest adventure yet...
Jack is a skinny, but strong, moderately sized brunette male. He has a rigid face with many scars from work on his lumber mill and uses a self-crafted face mask that also works as a respirator. There are also goggles located on his forehead for when he is welding/working with flames when crafting inventions. He also has contracted a similar version of the Black-Spot Variation plague at the young age of 4, and visited the monks of the Cloud Temple to relive the harsh disease.

____
