Back story: I was born on the year 1554. My father was a Blacksmith and my Mother died giving birth, at the age of 10 i was sent out of the city to train in Sword fighting my Father always wanted me to become a soldier he said it would make him proud so i trained, at the age of 18 i started drinking so they kicked me out of the Army so i went back to the city and started gambling after that i have been unemployed.

Back Story: I grew up in the city and I was constantly bullied. I never did a thing about it until one day when one of the bullies pulled out a knife and was about to stab me. I grabbed his arm and broke his wrist so he dropped the knife. While he was on the ground screaming in pain, I took the knife and stabbed his leg. I got expelled from the school and my family moved away to another city. It was there that I finished my schooling and I decided to become a sword maker. I made a good living off this business. One day, while I was working in my shop, a group of guards crashed down my door and were trying to arrest me. Luckily, I had just perfected another batch of throwing knives. I killed the guards and I searched them to try find reason for my arrest. I found a letter on the head guard that said to bring me to the prison so the king could have a little talk with me. I decided to suit up and head down to the prison. I brought an axe, a dagger and a small supply of throwing knives. I head on down to the prison. The prison gates were obviously heavily guarded, so I had to develop a plan to get in. I decided to go back down to my shop, put on one of the guard's armor and drag one of the bodies behind me so it looked like I was successfully arrested. I got into the prison and ditched my armor because it was much too bulky. I managed eventually to find the king. I sneaked up behind him and said "Looking for someone?" He was very startled. I then demanded the reason for my arrest. He then pulled up the bottom of his robe and showed me a scar on his leg. It was the bully that I had stabbed so long ago! He then pulled out a knife and said, "Now it's my turn." I then said, " I saved your life once, now your life is mine." It was then that he died. The server this thread represents has been dead and buried for a long time. However, you can find it being reborn in the setting of Istanbul, 6 years later in the timeline, in the newest version by clicking my signature.
You will need to make a new application, as the setting and time period have changed dramatically, and the application outline is different.

This is a Gimli skin I found. The clothing should be alright. It's just a sort of cloth tunic or something. The helmet is a gift from his now dead father from a faraway land. He started growing a beard at age 18 and has not shaved since.
Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):(I'm going to type this in the pretense that I am Anton.)
I was born in a land far far away only known as Skandia. Here, the men learned only to fight. We were basically pirates. My father was a veteran fighter and quick with a sword. What money he earned from his wages was sent to his family, me and my mother. It was barely enough to feed us. So with what little free time she had, she went poaching from the traps that nobles put down. It was dangerous business, so I felt it was my duty to go with her. At first, she told me to go home, but I was a helpful asset with my nimble feet. When there was no traps to poach from, my mother would go hunting with a bow. It was a crude bow made of a branch and strengthened string. Soon, she made me one too, so I could help her and also protect myself. But one day, a noble caught her and had her hanged. So I sat and waited, eating only a sort of cereal, made by grounding wheat with a stone and heating it over the fire. I had to grind by hand and it was tiring. Finally, my father came home. When I told him what happened, he was outraged! But soon, he was afraid. Afraid for me. So he started teaching me how to fight with a sword. He trained me long and hard. To a soldier who was just told to hit the enemy, I looked ready, but to a veteran warrior, I was a amateur. Soon, my father was called back to duty again. But the pain of his wife was too much, and he started drinking. Because of this, the general saw fit to punish him. That was too much, he died of a heart attack soon after.
At the time, I was age 15. When the army told me, I was horrified. They gave me my fathers helmet and I wear it to this day. So to make a living, I joined the raiding ships. I spent 5 years as a sea raider. Because of our beards and massive axes and swords, many trading ships would quickly surrender. But I began to see how gruesome we were. So one day, when in port at a small town to the east, I tried to learn some honest trade. My shipmates shunned me for it and marooned me at that small town. Seeing no alternative, I sold all my belongings to pay passage on one of the trading ships to a faraway country, any country. This is how I found myself in Italy. I admit, I could have found something better, but this would have to do.

Back Story: I grew up in the city and I was constantly bullied. I never did a thing about it until one day when one of the bullies pulled out a knife and was about to stab me. I grabbed his arm and broke his wrist so he dropped the knife. While he was on the ground screaming in pain, I took the knife and stabbed his leg. I got expelled from the school and my family moved away to another city. It was there that I finished my schooling and I decided to become a sword maker. I made a good living off this business. One day, while I was working in my shop, a group of guards crashed down my door and were trying to arrest me. Luckily, I had just perfected another batch of throwing knives. I killed the guards and I searched them to try find reason for my arrest. I found a letter on the head guard that said to bring me to the prison so the king could have a little talk with me. I decided to suit up and head down to the prison. I brought an axe, a dagger and a small supply of throwing knives. I head on down to the prison. The prison gates were obviously heavily guarded, so I had to develop a plan to get in. I decided to go back down to my shop, put on one of the guard's armor and drag one of the bodies behind me so it looked like I was successfully arrested. I got into the prison and ditched my armor because it was much too bulky. I managed eventually to find the king. I sneaked up behind him and said "Looking for someone?" He was very startled. I then demanded the reason for my arrest. He then pulled up the bottom of his robe and showed me a scar on his leg. It was the bully that I had stabbed so long ago! He then pulled out a knife and said, "Now it's my turn." I then said, " I saved your life once, now your life is mine." It was then that he died. It was also at that point where I decided to abandon my life as a sword maker and become an assassin...
The server this thread represents has been dead and buried for a long time. However, you can find it being reborn in the setting of Istanbul, 6 years later in the timeline, in the newest version by clicking my signature.
You will need to make a new application, as the setting and time period have changed dramatically, and the application outline is different.
It's been gone for a very long time now, but I assure you the newer version has many more features, a more immersive environment, and more interesting opportunities for Roleplay.

This is a Gimli skin I found. The clothing should be alright. It's just a sort of cloth tunic or something. The helmet is a gift from his now dead father from a faraway land. He started growing a beard at age 18 and has not shaved since.
Backstory (1-2 LONG paragraphs):(I'm going to type this in the pretense that I am Anton.)
I was born in a land far far away only known as Skandia. Here, the men learned only to fight. We were basically pirates. My father was a veteran fighter and quick with a sword. What money he earned from his wages was sent to his family, me and my mother. It was barely enough to feed us. So with what little free time she had, she went poaching from the traps that nobles put down. It was dangerous business, so I felt it was my duty to go with her. At first, she told me to go home, but I was a helpful asset with my nimble feet. When there was no traps to poach from, my mother would go hunting with a bow. It was a crude bow made of a branch and strengthened string. Soon, she made me one too, so I could help her and also protect myself. But one day, a noble caught her and had her hanged. So I sat and waited, eating only a sort of cereal, made by grounding wheat with a stone and heating it over the fire. I had to grind by hand and it was tiring. Finally, my father came home. When I told him what happened, he was outraged! But soon, he was afraid. Afraid for me. So he started teaching me how to fight with a sword. He trained me long and hard. To a soldier who was just told to hit the enemy, I looked ready, but to a veteran warrior, I was a amateur. Soon, my father was called back to duty again. But the pain of his wife was too much, and he started drinking. Because of this, the general saw fit to punish him. That was too much, he died of a heart attack soon after.
At the time, I was age 15. When the army told me, I was horrified. They gave me my fathers helmet and I wear it to this day. So to make a living, I joined the raiding ships. I spent 5 years as a sea raider. Because of our beards and massive axes and swords, many trading ships would quickly surrender. But I began to see how gruesome we were. So one day, when in port at a small town to the east, I tried to learn some honest trade. My shipmates shunned me for it and marooned me at that small town. Seeing no alternative, I sold all my belongings to pay passage on one of the trading ships to a faraway country, any country. This is how I found myself in Italy. I admit, I could have found something better, but this would have to do.

What is Roleplay? Roleplay is the acting of someone or something. You, are taking the role of something else. You are pretending you are someone else. Usually someone who isn't real. Like pretending you were a knight in shining armour with a finely made greatsword.
What is Metagaming? Metagaming is to learn something without learning it in chararcter. For example, you say something YOU know, but the character you are roleplaying SHOULD NOT know.
What is Powergaming? Powergaming is doing something that is not possible. Like something you couldn't possibly do in real life. Like jump from a building 19 cubic metres high.
What is Assassin's Creed?Assassins Creed is a game franchise created by Ubisoft. The storyline is very detailed but the main thing is that Assassins Creed is famous for the open world, weapons, and the ability to assassinate people. It is mainly a stealth game. So to answer you question, Assassins Creed is a video game. Done. I hope this is an adequate enough application. I really believe this is a great server and I really want to try this out.

Your app is... You don't seem to know what you're doing here at all. I'd suggest you take the time to find out what roleplaying actually is, fully read the forum post for the new server, and make a new application, actually putting effort into it; or try finding another, more simple server to play on.
