NEWS:
From our new title selection one really sticks out, of course it might be a wee-bit controversial and may get some hopes up. The new title is supposed to allow us to use our own lore and make our own universe. The new title is pulling a page from a Lord of the Craft, which you would think is a Lord of the Rings server but is not, and the new title might be Game of Torches(Not going to be a Game of Thrones server, just thought the title was minecraft-y). Of course we are open to ideas, but the new titles must be somewhat original.

1. We are not full bore Dark Souls (We are more Elder Scrolls, almost no Dark Souls) Just as a warning
2. Race has to be either Dark Elf, High Elf, or Wood Elf

I am quite glad to hear about the citizens plugin and cannot wait to see all the RP we can do once it is implemented. However I am deeply saddened that you don't wish to be TES and that you are even thinking about firing some of our staff. Although at times our staff can be a little crazy or immature a lot of us have worked hard to build spots for events, demo soltheim...twice for the daedra invasion, and help influence RP. Whitewing does a wonderful job whitelisting folks and well deserves the head whitelister. Cave may be a bit...aggressive at time especially when she was whitelisting but excels at starting up RP and events. Death has made a number of RP events possible with the work he has put in them and the time he spent making the lairs, dungeons, and other areas. Greeno is someone I am quite glad to call my boss as he has been with the server through thick and thin and in my opinion one of the reasons we still came to the server when it sucked the most and barely anyone was on, but he made RP events and brought us back. Even though green can be soft at times he must performed remarkably as the head admin of the server and I feel out of everyone that he is the best qualified for the job. I won't give a review on myself as you are looking for others opinions not self opinions. I don't feel any of the above players should lose their job and doing so would be a horrible idea and may cause others to leave as well.

In return the leaders will ensure that the player gets a job and at least a little more than enough for taxes.
taxes do not apply to people who do not Live in a town.
Players will get paid by Employers a certain amount (Depends on City and job) and it must be enough for the player to pay their taxes
Buisness owners will get a Small (AND I DO MEAN SMALL) tax on their Buisness (unless Pardoned by leader)
This will go into Effect in Certain Towns and Cities
New Haven has a tax of 100 Embers a IRL week BUT will employ a player for 25 Embers a IRL day/2 days, so they always earn a little but the owner gets some money.

I personally will be eagerly awaiting the citizens plugins for a two reasons, One because i can only be on the server with the majority of our player-base a on the weekends (Until i'm on holidays which is next week ) because i'm in a different time zone and with citizens i finally have someone to talk to and RP with. Two my faction that never really got started (as it was made when we moved to Leonnin) will finally have some members and i plan on making a terrific base with faction quest maybe a dungeon owned by the faction, (What i'm trying to say is it will be Kick-Ass)
I would be sad if any of our staff left and i'm a tiny bit worried you would ask if people would miss them as i take it that you might begin firing people, I have one thing to say PLEASE DON"T FIRE ANYONE.
As for the lore, setting and basically the idea behind the server, I think if we decide to move away for scrolls we should all decide not just two, three people but everyone players included.

this was it this was his chance to step out of his fathers shadow and save the world somewhere els. durring the spell the portal to the next world (like the portal to the shivering ills)was dissrupted so he couldnt escape. after trying so hard he fails to save the dragon his worst fears come true and he wants to only get ou of that skyrim. thats where his story begins.
things to note: arathon may be the grandson of the dragonborn but a bloodline fail stops him from being dragonborn, he has a wife and child and he may recognise some survivours from this being a nother skyrim

And guys since this is a Fresh Page i would love to say a little of a story for players that think of leaving and new players
I joined this server during the days of TAW. It was at the time with only three towns and no Winterhold. The staff were far between since some were a** holes and others were awesome. When i joined i was so confused i was ready to rage (lol) , But then i wandered into a new town called Bristol bay and i got to meet the Jarl (Mas0n) and he gave me a chance to start the Story of Derivan. At the time i was a new player to both RP and minecraft but the server was so supportive, especially Labargoth and HOORAH (Both of which are no longer here, one Traitor the other sadly demoted) I was actually temp banned two times for the stupidest things and i can say who.
One was Colbinile (He hated me for a while, we made up though ) and Darkjames. Then i did my first RP war that killed Derivan, and it had Staff that would do /back non Stop. It was during a time when there was a lot of bad staff and some good RP. Then we lost the map to corrupt files and we Went to Solstheim. I waited so long to go their and was on the Temp server just to talk to people.
Colbinile was so nice enough to let me and a few other people see the un-finished Server. It was only for an hour but it was so cool. The excitment of seeing Astora was my favorite. Then we had to wait a while longer until they were done. When it re-opened it was so hellish with RP that people would Rage Quite. It got better with those that really wanted it to work, while others were lost. We also had a lot of Trial Mods that were insulted and beat down by Moderators (Especially Ghost) . During the time i became a whitelister and every morning at 6 I would go on the forum and read 5-10 apps a day. Near the end of that era of Solstheim Colb came online with most staff on and Actually said "The Only Two people actually doing their job are *someone* and Greeno" I was so proud
But then we had a month long crash, so many players left and staff that "Loved" this server quit. The feeling i felt was more sad than angry, and i would post for people to Rally behind Lordran and prove they love it. When Insane said for People to PM him since they needed more staff i came to him and asked to be a moderator, and only because i wanted to help new players, and he made me Head Admin.To this day i am still Extremely Proud of this position. Now for Current events
We have had a decline in people, some saying that they dont care and it hurts me to see they dont understand how much fun this server is. I have staff that are newer to being it, but over time they have become better and better and it brings me joy to see them so good. I have gotten an Admin i can trust and does his job faithfully. I wish Stas did not lose her spot, she really wanted to prove she cared, and i know she still does. So many people on this server i have met and not one is rude to me or the staff. I truly thank you all for it. There are newer people like Maz who, even though we dont have a huge player base, want to make this server better.
But what really saddens me is when old staff come on and beg for their position. After Alt betrayed us and demoed a town with some hack, i have refused it. My two predecesors have re-joined and have not once asked for their old position (And for that i thank you 541 and Solo). And i have seen players insult this server and it gets so difficult. But to the moral of the story, if you stick around to a server that you care for, it will get better. Just last night we had 13 people on and were RPing alot. So i hope people will read this and join and stick around or go to their favorite server and not leave them.
But i have noticed i am too nice to those that have broken rules. I have been known to be a D****e to staff that use Creative so they dont get hurt (Cave and Death know this). But overall i am too soft. I ask of you guys to give a man time to get used to this job, for i have had it for around 2-3 months and i am not an expert. I love it when people PM me with issues or ideas on what to do, and i read them faithfully. So keep them up. Just please understand i am not the biggest on Punishment but more on Forgiveness.

It was during a time when there was a lot of bad staff and some good RP. Then we lost the map to corrupt files and we Went to Solstheim. I waited so long to go their and was on the Temp server just to talk to people.

Then we had to wait a while longer until they were done. When it re-opened it was so hellish with RP that people would Rage Quite. It got better with those that really wanted it to work, while others were lost. We also had a lot of Trial Mods that were insulted and beat down by Moderators (Especially Ghost) . During the time i became a whitelister and every morning at 6 I would go on the forum and read 5-10 apps a day. Near the end of that era of Solstheim Colb came online with most staff on and Actually said "The Only Two people actually doing their job are *someone* and Greeno" I was so proud
But then we had a month long crash, so many players left and staff that "Loved" this server quit. The feeling i felt was more sad than angry, and i would post for people to Rally behind Lordran and prove they love it. When Insane said for People to PM him since they needed more staff i came to him and asked to be a moderator, and only because i wanted to help new players, and he made me Head Admin.To this day i am still Extremely Proud of this position. Now for Current events
We have had a decline in people, some saying that they dont care and it hurts me to see they dont understand how much fun this server is. I have staff that are newer to being it, but over time they have become better and better and it brings me joy to see them so good. I have gotten an Admin i can trust and does his job faithfully. I wish Stas did not lose her spot, she really wanted to prove she cared, and i know she still does. So many people on this server i have met and not one is rude to me or the staff. I truly thank you all for it. There are newer people like Maz who, even though we dont have a huge player base, want to make this server better.
But what really saddens me is when old staff come on and beg for their position. After Alt betrayed us and demoed a town with some hack, i have refused it. My two predecesors have re-joined and have not once asked for their old position (And for that i thank you 541 and Solo). And i have seen players insult this server and it gets so difficult. But to the moral of the story, if you stick around to a server that you care for, it will get better. Just last night we had 13 people on and were RPing alot. So i hope people will read this and join and stick around or go to their favorite server and not leave them.
But i have noticed i am too nice to those that have broken rules. I have been known to be a D****e to staff that use Creative so they dont get hurt (Cave and Death know this). But overall i am too soft. I ask of you guys to give a man time to get used to this job, for i have had it for around 2-3 months and i am not an expert. I love it when people PM me with issues or ideas on what to do, and i read them faithfully. So keep them up. Just please understand i am not the biggest on Punishment but more on Forgiveness.

It was at the time with only three towns and no Winterhold. The staff were far between since some were a** holes and others were awesome. When i joined i was so confused i was ready to rage (lol) , But then i wandered into a new town called Bristol bay and i got to meet the Jarl (Mas0n) and he gave me a chance to start the Story of Derivan. At the time i was a new player to both RP and minecraft but the server was so supportive, especially Labargoth and HOORAH (Both of which are no longer here, one Traitor the other sadly demoted) I was actually temp banned two times for the stupidest things and i can say who. We will be having a VERY organized event. Huge with the new citizens plug-in added that way we can make the server more lively and such.
I am sorry to say but I honestly dont like TES full server. I understand your guys draw to it but I will be have the lore guys make some detailed lore that will and can explain everything and the events that have and will happen. I personally feel to constrained by the lore of TES I want to be able to be free to do as I please.

New Haven is owned by Derevan, who is a noble to Filora. and he has allied the town with the legion.
New Tax Structure
ok this is long time coming:
taxes will be done IRL, so every week at sunday players will pay a tax in Embers to their leader
In return the leaders will ensure that the player gets a job and at least a little more than enough for taxes.
taxes do not apply to people who do not Live in a town.
Players will get paid by Employers a certain amount (Depends on City and job) and it must be enough for the player to pay their taxes
Buisness owners will get a Small (AND I DO MEAN SMALL) tax on their Buisness (unless Pardoned by leader)
This will go into Effect in Certain Towns and Cities
New Haven has a tax of 100 Embers a IRL week BUT will employ a player for 25 Embers a IRL day/2 days, so they always earn a little but the owner gets some money.

I would be sad if any of our staff left and i'm a tiny bit worried you would ask if people would miss them as i take it that you might begin firing people, I have one thing to say PLEASE DON"T FIRE ANYONE.
As for the lore, setting and basically the idea behind the server, I think if we decide to move away for scrolls we should all decide not just two, three people but everyone players included.
