Able to help people quickly and efficiently __ I am able to read the chat and see who needs help, and then from that quickly respond to the person so they're able to get the help they need sooner. I can multitask so that if more than one person needs help (which I've seen, and the current chat mods do a great job of dealing with!) I can help them all within a reasonable amount of time. I believe that this is important due to the volume of player on the server, and the ratio of those that need help to the number of players overall. Everyone needs help at sometime, and when you need help you would want a player in a staff (whether it be role play or not) to help you.
Experience with the server __ Over the course of the year I've been here a lot has changed, and you must be willing to adapt to survive. By reading the forums you get a feel of how strict of a ship the staff run, and that is something that I want to could a part of. There are a lot of servers that are very similiar, and the thing that separates the real servers from those other ones is their community and staff. While KDC's community can be iffy at times I do believe that it has good at its core, and the staff do want the best for the server. I would be able to help people, and in areas that I'm not I could point them to a place where they would be able to get the help they need.
Dedicated player __ Minecraft servers don't always capture and hold the player's attention, yet somehow Killion did. I don't really go on other servers, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. While there are flyby players I believe that a community is truly revealed in those players that stick around for the long run, and I am here to stay.
Willing to do whatever is needed __ A staff position on KDC (and a lot of large servers) require the player to be willing to help people not just in game, but on the forums, through tickets, etc. I'm willing to make myself available to help people wherever they go for help.
Extra Information: I believe that since I've played on the server for a while I know what makes a good chat mod, and would put that into action. How long have you played on Killion?: I joined Killion the day of the Community Spotlight on Br0nX_l3oIVIb3r, but went inactive. My official /clan lookup states the date as May 5. On Hidden_Lurker, /clan lookup states the date as July 31, 2012.
Have you ever been muted or banned?: I was banned once and muted once.
If so, why and for how long?: I was banned for the spamming of clan chat. I was unbanned about one week later by Markillion. I was also muted once by Gold for stating in chat the items Phil1818 gave me. I believe this was a 10 minute mute. I have learned from my mistakes, and I truly hope this does not weigh heavily on your decision.
Why do you believe you're suitable for the Moderation role?:
I first discovered Killion when it was featured on the Community Spotlight. After trying to convince a friend to join me, I typed in the IP, and connected for the first time. After reading the signs throughout spawn, I entered the tree farm, and I began the natural beginning of any new game of Minecraft, chopping trees. Once I felt I had obtained enough wood, I crafted a pickaxe and jumped my way to the mine. I spent many hours slaving away in the cobble mine, filling my inventory with stack upon stack of cobblestone. Of course, a stack of cobblestone can only be sold for $64, so my money was not increasing very quickly. Because of this slow and tedious process for not much gain, I connected to Killion less and less. Finally, in May, I decided that I would once again take up the task of ranking to the next blocks. This is where I learned that tree farming is the quickest way to earn money in C Block. At some point, I had picked up a diamond axe from another player. I then used this axe to quickly chop as many trees as possible, and I saw my money rise at a much higher rate. In a short few hours, I earned $15,000, and I proudly typed /rankup. Inside B Block, after the initial awe over the new scenery, I asked Bluetoes1, a Sr Guard at the time, what was the fastest way to earn money at my new level. His response being dirt mine, I armed myself with an inventory full of stone shovels and dug out large chunks of dirt as often as possible. However, not long after becoming a B Blocker, I felt a need to do more.
On June 15, 2012, at 12:26 PM, I submitted my application for guard. The hours following this consisted of frequently checking my Minecraft Forums notifications, looking for a reply from my application. After a surprisingly short amount of time, I received a notification on June 16, 2012, at 4:18 AM, from Death_Rider21. Along with Oyz, PanFlake, and Fumpfunph, I was accepted as a guard, and mariokartamateur was accepted as Chat Mod. Since this time, I have proudly played as a guard of Killion Detention Center, earning the rank of A-Guard. Eventually, I purchased my alternate account, Hidden_Lurker. On Hidden_Lurker, I joined Killion for the first time on July 31. Now, as time has progressed, and I have played on the server for a considerable amount of time, I once again feel I can do much more for the server. I believe I can partake in this role of greater participation by achieving the rank of Chat Moderator.
The role of Chat Moderator is not one that is handed out lightly. I believe I am suitable for the Moderation role because I understand the rules, type quickly, and remain calm and level-headed.
Officially, I have played on Killion since May 5, 2012. My playtime has been fairly consistent throughout this period, as I manage to create spare time for computer recreation. Because of my large amount of playtime, I have developed an excellent understanding of the rules. I have learned many of the rules which may not be explicitly stated in the thread but are understood within the community. These rules have come to my knowledge through constant reading of this thread, the forums on evolutiongaming.org, and the fast-moving in-game chat. On my alternate account, Br0nX_l3oIVIb3r, I am currently an A-Guard. This responsibility requires an inherent knowledge of all guard, prisoner, and server rules. With about 6415 minutes as a guard, I have achieved an understanding of the rules that is possibly unobtainable by one who has not had the same experiences as I.
A quality I pride myself on is my capability of fast typing. While this may seem trivial to include in my application, I believe it to be very important. I feel this ability will greatly assist me in the ability to moderate. When a player asks a question, I am capable of quickly answering, allowing the player to receive his or her information in an appropriate period of time. Other than swiftly assisting other players, my typing speed will allow me to inflict the appropriate punishment on chat violators. These players are capable of continuously disrupting the chat while mods online are either AFK or typing out the punishment. Of course, this is no fault to them, as the current team of mods is excellent. I feel I would excel at speeding up the process of punishment.
As a Chat Mod, I believe it is important to remain neutral and calm through any event. Because of trolling and other common behavior, it is quite easy to grow flustered and frustrated, effectively limiting proper behavior as a Chat Mod. I feel that I have a very relaxed demeanor. It is not easy to irritate or anger me, something which is even more difficult to do over a video game. My calm attitude allows me to act fairly, not allowing my emotions in the moment to control me. I also believe that this will help me defuse arguments in global chat. People naturally follow the lead of one in power; it is part of our human nature. By exhibiting a sense of peace and fairness, players will also take this path.
I am an excellent candidate for the Moderation role because of a server understanding, swift typing, and a calm mood. This is a position I have longed for over an extended period of time, and I hope this is my chance to achieve this role.

I've wanted to be a Chat Mod since the first few weeks of joining the Killion Detention Center. I knew that helping and being part of something so much larger than just a single person would be an amazing thing to do. Even more amazing is that those goals still hold true today. I want to help the community become stronger and better and help you guys be able to do all of the things you do - without worrying about one less thing.
When I first joined I was greeted by professional staff that knew what they were doing. This was back in the days of Taken, Goggy, andGoon. I've played on Killion with dedication since February, on SomethingAwes0me. I've been a part of this community through it's worst times and through it's best. Killion is still full of excellent staff and wardens, and I want to join the amazing team of Chat Mods.
While there are many qualified candidates, I believe I would be one of the best. I've moderated, run, and owned multiple servers in the past. Because of this, I am familiar with the inner workings of servers. I have an excellent grasp on how to interact with others so they know that rules need to be followed while still having a good time.
I am capable of typing fast while maintaining accuracy, allowing me to help players quickly and efficiently. I'm willing to answer any and all questions, no matter who is asking. If I am unsure of an answer, I will point the player to a place where he or she may find what he or she is looking for. In the end, the player has received the deserved help and information. I have used the ticket system on Killion and feel that I could help the other mods and wardens process tickets quickly and efficiently.
Why me? There are plenty of good applicants, but I believe that I fit the bill very well. I love to help others. That feeling when one joins a server for the first time and don't understand something is horrible. If one asks and question, he or she wants help; that's why I love helping people. I want to make every player enjoy the server as much as I do. I want to see everyone happy and successful on their own.
Recently, it seems that a lot of people have quit the server, but it continues to grow. There are more new players and new Frees every day. I don't think I could ever quit Killion completely. Being able to talk with people, participating in events, and watching Mark break things draws me here every day. I want to be the type of Chat Mod that's willing to help you whenever you need it, but willing to enforce the rules with an iron fist. I'm dedicated to Killion and hope my in-game actions as well as this application show you how much I care.
Killion isn't going anywhere for some time. The 200+ people on every day shows that pretty well. I want to be here for the ride; I want to help with the ride. I check the forums a lot (almost too much maybe) and I love seeing Killion and all Evolution Gaming servers at the top of sites such as Minestatus and MCSL. There's a lot of prison servers out there; it's the community and staff that decides the victor. Killion is a the finish line and I don't see any competition. I want to be a professional and fun Chat Mod, one that lays down the law and banishes chat violators while bringing out the good side of the community. There's people from all around the world playing one game, one server, at one time. Let's make it even better.
I hope that in my role as guard I've shown that I will never abuse any power given to me. I don't want to ruin something for everyone. It takes time to get to the top, and if you fall, you fall hard. I will never abuse any power handed to me by you guys, Mark and Starzy. I want to be a professional and fun staff team, namely, the team of Killion Detention Center.
I believe I am capable of withstanding the pressure. At any given time, there could be 200 players needing assistance, and it's about getting to each of them efficiently and thoroughly.
I want to be a Chat Mod because I care and want to help the community do better than it ever has before. I want to be able to answer questions even more frequently. Well first of all I would like to point out that new guards have not been hired in a while and no guards are ever on. Anyways, I am pretty good at PvP and when it comes to the guarding aspect, I know what I am doing. Call for contraband and countdown etc... if they dont hand it over I will jail for 10 min and for the next offences 15 min. If somebody tags me and I tag them back I can call a 5 min KoS on them meaning if I see them in PvP during that 5 min I can kill them. I know when contraband is KoS and when it is not. I know about camping etc... ( using the /sword command). I am very mature and will not get involved in arguments and I will stick to my task, guarding. I will help out in chat to the best of my ability and if I ever run across something I am unsure about I will ask another guard or mod or somebody who knows. I will do the best I can as a guard. I will not abuse my powers and I know right from wrong. I understand I am a guard, not a chat mod, unlike oogleboogle or w/e his name is . I believe I should be placed in this role because of my experience, dedication and overall knowledge. I have played on Killion since February and have always wanted to aspire to be a part of it. I was a guard which was something I enjoyed and loved very much, the reason I retired is because I was feeling that I was getting no-where, and wanted to make a move and become a Chat-Moderator. I was a Chat-Moderator on Evolution Gaming's PaintBall server before I rose to become an Administrator there, it has given me alot of skills and has showed me what it is like to deal with large servers. I think that I would be a great addition to the team as I have so much dedication and am always passionate about moderating. If I was given this role, I believe that I could help out the server with my time-zone as I only see 1 moderator on, and occasionally a Warden, or a Sr Warden. I think that by giving me this role that I could benefit the server and its player base by helping all players with their questions/queries and doubtful points. I am an un-biased person who always looks at all party's of arguments before making a decision, I believe that every one deserves the right to be taken seriously. I don't just take reports and issues and deal with them in a 'un-caring way', I deal with them in a mature and efficient way respecting all aspects of it and working out the best solution.
I have much experience with Killion in general, as I have said earlier. I have been here since February, I have seen killion go through its 'high's' and 'low's' I have been there through pretty much all of it. I know the map like the back of my hand, and feel confident in answering all questions/queries asked. Killion has impressed me since the first moment I laid my sights on it, from its concept and elegant building/designs to the way its marvelous staff runs it. Killion is one of the biggest minecraft servers out there, I would be honored to become a part of its staff and be able to help it grow even more. I believe that I can help it and bring my ideas and put them into action. I have been able to communicate with Starzy and Markillion through my position on their paintball servers, I believe that I get along with them very well and think that I could quickly adapt and become a dedicated staff member here.

Hey guys. It is Ptigers13 and as the above message says, I am quitting Killion. The reasons for my departure are the disrespectful community, admin disrespect, and a lack of admins listening to players. For those reasons, my career here has come to an end. So let me tell you my story on Killion:
I started off the server as a clueless C blocker who at first, really hated the server most because I died. So I logged off Minecraft and did not play the server. Two weeks passed and I was bored so I decided to go back and play the server. After that, I was hooked. I was able to rank up to Free in a couple of days and met fantastic players such as Breeza, Oys, MissDigger, Goggy, and Goon, all who were very helpful as I was ranking up through the prison. After I became Free, I bought Donor and mined all day and made close to 1 mill on the server. During this time, I took a break for about a month and later returned to Killion. I was never in a clan before so I decided to apply for Moonlight which at the time, was a very infamous clan on Killion. After about a week being in Moonlight, I left and joined N00B Cake owned by Fflippy. We had some great times but I later applied for Friendly Fighters which used to be owned by Sardine_King and Epiclegacy. I was accepted and I had a blast there. Shortly after that, I met a player called lucceh. This guy was hilarious and just really cool overall. He was selling a Freeville Plot so I decided to ask him if I could buy it and he said yes. That is when our friendship on the server started. Shortly after the purchase of his plot, I decided to apply for Fractal Illumination which was owned by lucceh and Norwayguy. Now I had written a great application for iLL but the player who I believe got me in was Whos_Jarzy, who was one of my closest friends on the server. Shortly after being accepted to iLL, Jarzy and I started to make a friendship with him as well as with his IRL friend Cinemahtic. They would then make the clan Animal which I would join. We then remade the clan to Free World Apocalypse. We went on all sorts of raids and other fun events and I felt like a legend on Killion. The clans I joined after FWA were VTX, VGD (a clan I made) and then I went to MooLa which is owned by Jarzy and Cine today. I would like to think that what I have done here on Killion is great and hopefully maybe be remembered as a good player here on the server. Now a special thanks to the following players:

After another prisoner got muted for saying "dafuq". At the time I did not know that saying a variation of a curse word was a curse word. The mute lasted the customary ten minutes.
Why do you believe you're suitable for the Moderation role?: Listed below are the reasons I believe that I should be considered for Chat Mod.
First, I am very familiar with all of the prison rules from my experience as a Guard and use this to my advantage to assist others and make their play time more enjoyable and fun.
I enjoy socializing with other players and to help them enjoy Killion to the fullest.
I am an Admin on three other servers, and I own a server of my own. So I know the responsibility needed for the position. I also have much experience with moderation.
Before the "No Mini Mods" rule was in place, I performed the duties of a Chat Mod. I answered any questions people had, assisted them in any way I could, and warned them for spam, racism, etc. I took that role very seriously.
I always demonstrate maturity and respect when I am online. I am also understanding and treat all players equally and with respect.
I am a very active member and am online for most of the day almost everyday. I remain peaceful and friendly during all that time.
I also know a lot of information about most the hamsters (plugins) used on the server, so I can help people with their issues they may have, better.
It has already been stated that I am 15 years old, but do not let that fool you into thinking that I am no less mature than anyone else on this server. I am very mature.
I consider myself to be a fast "typer" with good grammar and spelling. This makes it easy for other players to read the chat messages I send. Some players on the server have already commented on my typing ability, but that is beside the point since I already know you do not know value the opinion of others too heavily in a situation such as this.
I get along with [almost] everyone on the server and I consider myself to be a friendly, kind and helpful person.
Finally, I want to help make Killion a more enjoyable place for all and make it better to the best of my ability.

How long have you played on Killion?: I joined Killion the day of the Community Spotlight on Br0nX_l3oIVIb3r, but went inactive. My official /clan lookup states the date as May 5. On Hidden_Lurker, /clan lookup states the date as July 31, 2012.
Have you ever been muted or banned?: I was banned once and muted once.
If so, why and for how long?: I was banned for the spamming of clan chat. I was unbanned about one week later by Markillion. I was also muted once by Gold for stating in chat the items Phil1818 gave me. I believe this was a 10 minute mute. I have learned from my mistakes, and I truly hope this does not weigh heavily on your decision.
Why do you believe you're suitable for the Moderation role?:
I first discovered Killion when it was featured on the Community Spotlight. After trying to convince a friend to join me, I typed in the IP, and connected for the first time. After reading the signs throughout spawn, I entered the tree farm, and I began the natural beginning of any new game of Minecraft, chopping trees. Once I felt I had obtained enough wood, I crafted a pickaxe and jumped my way to the mine. I spent many hours slaving away in the cobble mine, filling my inventory with stack upon stack of cobblestone. Of course, a stack of cobblestone can only be sold for $64, so my money was not increasing very quickly. Because of this slow and tedious process for not much gain, I connected to Killion less and less. Finally, in May, I decided that I would once again take up the task of ranking to the next blocks. This is where I learned that tree farming is the quickest way to earn money in C Block. At some point, I had picked up a diamond axe from another player. I then used this axe to quickly chop as many trees as possible, and I saw my money rise at a much higher rate. In a short few hours, I earned $15,000, and I proudly typed /rankup. Inside B Block, after the initial awe over the new scenery, I asked Bluetoes1, a Sr Guard at the time, what was the fastest way to earn money at my new level. His response being dirt mine, I armed myself with an inventory full of stone shovels and dug out large chunks of dirt as often as possible. However, not long after becoming a B Blocker, I felt a need to do more.
On June 15, 2012, at 12:26 PM, I submitted my application for guard. The hours following this consisted of frequently checking my Minecraft Forums notifications, looking for a reply from my application. After a surprisingly short amount of time, I received a notification on June 16, 2012, at 4:18 AM, from Death_Rider21. Along with Oyz, PanFlake, and Fumpfunph, I was accepted as a guard, and mariokartamateur was accepted as Chat Mod. Since this time, I have proudly played as a guard of Killion Detention Center, earning the rank of A-Guard.
Eventually, I purchased my alternate account, Hidden_Lurker. On Hidden_Lurker, I joined Killion for the first time on July 31. Now, as time has progressed, and I have played on the server for a considerable amount of time, I once again feel I can do much more for the server. I believe I can partake in this role of greater participation by achieving the rank of Chat Moderator.
The role of Chat Moderator is not one that is handed out lightly. I believe I am suitable for the Moderation role because I understand the rules, type quickly, and remain calm and level-headed.
Officially, I have played on Killion since May 5, 2012. My playtime has been fairly consistent throughout this period, as I manage to create spare time for computer recreation. Because of my large amount of playtime, I have developed an excellent understanding of the rules. I have learned many of the rules which may not be explicitly stated in the thread but are understood within the community. These rules have come to my knowledge through constant reading of this thread, the forums on evolutiongaming.org, and the fast-moving in-game chat. On my alternate account, Br0nX_l3oIVIb3r, I am currently an A-Guard. This responsibility requires an inherent knowledge of all guard, prisoner, and server rules. With about 6415 minutes as a guard, I have achieved an understanding of the rules that is possibly unobtainable by one who has not had the same experiences as I.
A quality I pride myself on is my capability of fast typing. While this may seem trivial to include in my application, I believe it to be very important. I feel this ability will greatly assist me in the ability to moderate. When a player asks a question, I am capable of quickly answering, allowing the player to receive his or her information in an appropriate period of time. Other than swiftly assisting other players, my typing speed will allow me to inflict the appropriate punishment on chat violators. These players are capable of continuously disrupting the chat while mods online are either AFK or typing out the punishment. Of course, this is no fault to them, as the current team of mods is excellent. I feel I would excel at speeding up the process of punishment.
As a Chat Mod, I believe it is important to remain neutral and calm through any event. Because of trolling and other common behavior, it is quite easy to grow flustered and frustrated, effectively limiting proper behavior as a Chat Mod. I feel that I have a very relaxed demeanor. It is not easy to irritate or anger me, something which is even more difficult to do over a video game. My calm attitude allows me to act fairly, not allowing my emotions in the moment to control me. I also believe that this will help me defuse arguments in global chat. People naturally follow the lead of one in power; it is part of our human nature. By exhibiting a sense of peace and fairness, players will also take this path.
I am an excellent candidate for the Moderation role because of a server understanding, swift typing, and a calm mood. This is a position I have longed for over an extended period of time, and I hope this is my chance to achieve this role.

Well first of all I would like to point out that new guards have not been hired in a while and no guards are ever on. Anyways, I am pretty good at PvP and when it comes to the guarding aspect, I know what I am doing. Call for contraband and countdown etc... if they dont hand it over I will jail for 10 min and for the next offences 15 min. If somebody tags me and I tag them back I can call a 5 min KoS on them meaning if I see them in PvP during that 5 min I can kill them. I know when contraband is KoS and when it is not. I know about camping etc... ( using the /sword command). I am very mature and will not get involved in arguments and I will stick to my task, guarding. I will help out in chat to the best of my ability and if I ever run across something I am unsure about I will ask another guard or mod or somebody who knows. I will do the best I can as a guard. I will not abuse my powers and I know right from wrong. I understand I am a guard, not a chat mod, unlike oogleboogle or w/e his name is

I believe I should be placed in this role because of my experience, dedication and overall knowledge. I have played on Killion since February and have always wanted to aspire to be a part of it. I was a guard which was something I enjoyed and loved very much, the reason I retired is because I was feeling that I was getting no-where, and wanted to make a move and become a Chat-Moderator. I was a Chat-Moderator on Evolution Gaming's PaintBall server before I rose to become an Administrator there, it has given me alot of skills and has showed me what it is like to deal with large servers. I think that I would be a great addition to the team as I have so much dedication and am always passionate about moderating. If I was given this role, I believe that I could help out the server with my time-zone as I only see 1 moderator on, and occasionally a Warden, or a Sr Warden. I think that by giving me this role that I could benefit the server and its player base by helping all players with their questions/queries and doubtful points. I am an un-biased person who always looks at all party's of arguments before making a decision, I believe that every one deserves the right to be taken seriously. I don't just take reports and issues and deal with them in a 'un-caring way', I deal with them in a mature and efficient way respecting all aspects of it and working out the best solution.
I have much experience with Killion in general, as I have said earlier. I have been here since February, I have seen killion go through its 'high's' and 'low's' I have been there through pretty much all of it. I know the map like the back of my hand, and feel confident in answering all questions/queries asked. Killion has impressed me since the first moment I laid my sights on it, from its concept and elegant building/designs to the way its marvelous staff runs it. Killion is one of the biggest minecraft servers out there, I would be honored to become a part of its staff and be able to help it grow even more. I believe that I can help it and bring my ideas and put them into action. I have been able to communicate with Starzy and Markillion through my position on their paintball servers, I believe that I get along with them very well and think that I could quickly adapt and become a dedicated staff member here.
Well to conclude my application, the main points I would like to arise is that. If I was given this role I would put as much effort into it as I can give, I would respect all players and never think of myself as 'un-equal' to them. I would love to be given this opportunity as I have been with this server since February and want to become a 'bigger-part' of it and contribute to it.
