7) Why are you the best choice for guard?
There are multiple reasons why I believe I am a good choice to be a guard on your server.In this long, essay-like answer to your question, I will attempt to tell you most, if not all, of those reasons. And hopefully, by the end of this, all of you, includingNoakii, will agree that I am a good choice for guard.
I'm gonna start by telling you why I want to be a guard. So, some people may question the choice of attempting to be a guard, which is completely understandable. Some people believe that it's much funner to play then it is to moderate/guard. However, that is not my opinion. I enjoy assisting other people. It is something I do naturally, something I believe I am good at. Also, I want to become a guard so that I can protect C from the never-ending waves of Freeman riots which happen basically nonstop, whether there are guards on or not.
Alright, now, on to what makes me a good choice to be a guard, based on my mind. So, I'll just get right down to it. As far as my thinking goes, I feel that I can keep my head relatively clear, allowing me to watch, and assess situations properly. I can quickly jump into action before anything that isn't supposed to happen, happens. As a guard, I would be watching constantly, patrolling anywhere I am allowed to patrol for people doing things they shouldn't be doing.
Now i'm going to talk about PVP (Player-Versus-Player). I do not consider myself, in any way, to be the best PVPer in minecraft, or even necessarily close to him/her. However, I do believe myself to be adept in fighting, and thus would be able to jump in if necessary. My weakest point as far as PVP goes is when I am not prepared, though I am normally ready to fight if I have to.
Alright, now i'm gonna talk about something that all minecraftians experience at some point in their lives. The dreaded lag. Every now and then, I may have times where certain servers (one of them being this one), lag quite badly. This may be something that, though rarely, keeps me from logging in.
Lastly, I want to talk about my activity. There are a lot of things that can affect this. However, I would definitely be very active. I already consider myself to be pretty active on your server, but if I was a guard, I would be on whenever I could be, protecting the innocent and keeping the baddies in their place.
So, this is my application to be a guard on your awesome server. Unfortunately, this is all I can do to try to join your guards. The rest is on the current Guards, Alpha Guards, Wardens, and even just the everyday players. I think that I would be a good guard for your server because I do not hold grudges, I am very watchful and I think before I act (unlike some Misc. players). I would serve as a guard for the cell block B because lately, the experience is less jail, more full out combat, and for those who mine like me, we could use a guard in this area, for it has some of the most valuable items out of all of them. I think I would be a great guard because quite frankly, I have a lot of time on my hands and will keep Sugarcane and mushrooms as something to hide, along with swords and violence. 7) Why are you the best choice for guard? i think i am the best choice for guard as i have a lot of experience on prison servers and i have been guard before on 3 servers and so from that i have gained the knowledge and experience on how to be guard. i am able to be on quite a lot for at least 8 hours a day (not consecutive) and i am a person who would never abuse his power and do something he shouldn't.

Probably nothing. I believe that this is also the current state of where the old Player Market used to be. I don't know why, it just seems to keep making the prison seem smaller and smaller when moving things like Donor Block, the Event Area, and the Player Market to completely new worlds and making them warp accessible only. While may have had to use warps to get to the old Player Market and Event Area, you knew that you were still inside the prison. Now that you go through a quick loading screen, you know that you're far from it. Just my opinion anyway.

Yes i Understand what a guard can and cannot do, I will devote my time to enforcing these rules as much as i can to my ability.

Yes after playing for 1 year on Convicted and i now understand how a prison server works.

I am the best choice because i observe the guards and how they handle things.
I understand when to kill people and when to take away swords. As many of you know, rioting has been a problem lately in C-Block. I promise to stop Rioting while i am Trainee/Guard to the best of my ability. I have practiced PvP so i am ready for what the Rioters do to me. I also do not like to see an innocent player killed. I too, have had that happen during my time in C-Block and many times in B-Block.
I also like to have fun and i give second chances on many occasions. I am serious when needed and ready to get online anytime between 4-7Pm during Monday-Fridays due to school. On weekends i can devote about 4 hours on the server or maybe more. I will be active and i will be tough... But most importantly, i will enforce the rules.
I also plan to improve upon the guard/trainee experience. First, I also think guards should have speed potions and even a warden said that would be a good idea. Secondly, we need to keep a better watch on C because i have seen a lack of guards in C block because all guards are out running around in the Plot area.
I give second chances unlike many guards unless its a serious offence. For instance, if somebody hits somebody 1 time and stops attacking i might just tell them not to do it again, but if they start to continue attacking thats when the PvP comes into play.
I can devote at least 3 hours a day during weekend and at least 1-2 hours during the week. I also have skype so you can contact me in case there is a lack of guards online.
I know many commands of the top of my head and type fast. So i can go 1,2,3,4,5 for border hoppers. Also i will say "Drop the sword" Quickly so they cant run away with it.
I Have a fast pc which rarely lags even on this server so i can see people with swords even when hiding behind others. Im not very east to trick with things.
Unlike many who want trainee/guard, i will not flaunt my rank to others. I have literally saw a guard say "RESPECT MY AUTHORTIAAA" (South Park Quote).
I know many plugins and have experience with them too. I have studied what the guards do and what they do in each situation.
Im not very rude to people who are mean to me because i am always in a good mood and i would NEVER take my anger out on a innocent player.
I can also PvP multple players and spot an aimbotter. I know what X-ray holes look like and I can inform a aplha guard if i see x-ray holes. I will check the mine often for those things and multitask
I would never use my rank to personal gain, only to help the server.
Lastly i would like to be guard because i like teamwork and i am friends with a couple of guards. I respond well to pressure and i have much experience as an admin.

This is also a reason why I don't really support buying second-hand accounts, you don't really ever know what servers they're banned on, etc. My suggestion to people who buy second-hand accounts anyway: ask an admin on the server that you play on to check if the account is banned if you don't have access to /seen like we do here on Convicted. 7) Why are you the best choice for guard?
There are multiple reasons why I believe I am a good choice to be a guard on your server. In this long, essay-like answer to your question, I will attempt to tell you most, if not all, of those reasons. And hopefully, by the end of this, all of you, includingNoakii, will agree that I am a good choice for guard.
I'm gonna start by telling you why I want to be a guard. So, some people may question the choice of attempting to be a guard, which is completely understandable. Some people believe that it's much funner to play then it is to moderate/guard. However, that is not my opinion. I enjoy assisting other people. It is something I do naturally, something I believe I am good at. Also, I want to become a guard so that I can protect C from the never-ending waves of Freeman riots which happen basically nonstop, whether there are guards on or not.
Alright, now, on to what makes me a good choice to be a guard, based on my mind. So, I'll just get right down to it. As far as my thinking goes, I feel that I can keep my head relatively clear, allowing me to watch, and assess situations properly. I can quickly jump into action before anything that isn't supposed to happen, happens. As a guard, I would be watching constantly, patrolling anywhere I am allowed to patrol for people doing things they shouldn't be doing.
Now i'm going to talk about PVP (Player-Versus-Player). I do not consider myself, in any way, to be the best PVPer in minecraft, or even necessarily close to him/her. However, I do believe myself to be adept in fighting, and thus would be able to jump in if necessary. My weakest point as far as PVP goes is when I am not prepared, though I am normally ready to fight if I have to.
Alright, now i'm gonna talk about something that all minecraftians experience at some point in their lives. The dreaded lag. Every now and then, I may have times where certain servers (one of them being this one), lag quite badly. This may be something that, though rarely, keeps me from logging in.
Lastly, I want to talk about my activity. There are a lot of things that can affect this. However, I would definitely be very active. I already consider myself to be pretty active on your server, but if I was a guard, I would be on whenever I could be, protecting the innocent and keeping the baddies in their place.
So, this is my application to be a guard on your awesome server. Unfortunately, this is all I can do to try to join your guards. The rest is on the current Guards, Alpha Guards, Wardens, and even just the everyday players. 7) Why are you the best choice for guard? I enjoy enforcing rules, I try to take a job like this whenever I can. I think that I would be a good guard for your server because I do not hold grudges, I am very watchful and I think before I act (unlike some Misc. players). I would serve as a guard for the cell block B because lately, the experience is less jail, more full out combat, and for those who mine like me, we could use a guard in this area, for it has some of the most valuable items out of all of them. I think I would be a great guard because quite frankly, I have a lot of time on my hands and will keep Sugarcane and mushrooms as something to hide, along with swords and violence. As well as this, guards are getting slacky and ignoring many things (Once even buying “Drugs” from a player). Thank you for your consideration.

What he's basically saying is that most of the time the extremely long ones are too long for him to have the time to read. xD While it is a good thing that you took your time on your application, you also have to take into account that short and sweet can also be good at times as well. So if you could try to summarize what you said here into about 5-6 paragraphs, you probably would get more recommendations, or be accepted since they felt like taking the time to read Question 7. Well, I have, but I broke a lot of them. I was jailed 4 times, for different reasons. But over all, I really like this server.I don’t want to be a criminal anymore, I want to be a guard.
5) Any experience with the prison genre?
Yes, I was a A ranker at a small server called Cacere Correctional Facility, but I decided that it was too small, and I want to play together with more people, so I came to Convicted. I also tried out prison servers like Drug Wars, Fusion Rush, Prison Tech, City Jail, but it turned out that the staff weren’t friendly at all. I always get killed, so I quit those servers.

I have posted my application before many many times, but it was not accepted so I went on a life of robbing and spawn fisting guards. But I really like this server, so I decided that I must contribute to this server and not be a criminal that everyone hates. A player called kirbykid said that I will never be guard, so I also want to show him that I can become guard. I have read the rules, but I broke many of them when my app was denied. But still, I wanna be guard. I swear if I become guard I will help the C rankers and protect them. I will not abuse or break any rules if you make me guard. You will not regret your choice. Also, ComputerGuy365 is my friend in real life, so I am looking up to him.

Alright, I'm going to find what I dislike about your application.
1. "I have been around for a few months now" If you've been around for a few months, then you most likely would be a rank higher than B. This could potentially show a level of activity.
2. Reading your application it seemed more like you were begging for guard than applying for it. Here's some examples
- "I want to be a guard." (Question 4)
- "But still, I wanna be guard. " (Question 7)
- "Please make me guard." (Question 8)
3. All question 7 states is you like the server, you want to prove kirbykid wrong by obtaining guard rank, and you won't abuse. It gives no information on pvp skill whatsoever.That's about all I can currently think of.

Probably nothing. I believe that this is also the current state of where the old Player Market used to be. I don't know why, it just seems to keep making the prison seem smaller and smaller when moving things like Donor Block, the Event Area, and the Player Market to completely new worlds and making them warp accessible only. While may have had to use warps to get to the old Player Market and Event Area, you knew that you were still inside the prison. Now that you go through a quick loading screen, you know that you're far from it. Just my opinion anyway.

Yes i Understand what a guard can and cannot do, I will devote my time to enforcing these rules as much as i can to my ability.

Yes after playing for 1 year on Convicted and i now understand how a prison server works.

I am the best choice because i observe the guards and how they handle things.
I understand when to kill people and when to take away swords. As many of you know, rioting has been a problem lately in C-Block. I promise to stop Rioting while i am Trainee/Guard to the best of my ability. I have practiced PvP so i am ready for what the Rioters do to me. I also do not like to see an innocent player killed. I too, have had that happen during my time in C-Block and many times in B-Block.
I also like to have fun and i give second chances on many occasions. I am serious when needed and ready to get online anytime between 4-7Pm during Monday-Fridays due to school. On weekends i can devote about 4 hours on the server or maybe more. I will be active and i will be tough... But most importantly, i will enforce the rules.
I also plan to improve upon the guard/trainee experience. First, I also think guards should have speed potions and even a warden said that would be a good idea. Secondly, we need to keep a better watch on C because i have seen a lack of guards in C block because all guards are out running around in the Plot area.
I give second chances unlike many guards unless its a serious offence. For instance, if somebody hits somebody 1 time and stops attacking i might just tell them not to do it again, but if they start to continue attacking thats when the PvP comes into play.
I can devote at least 3 hours a day during weekend and at least 1-2 hours during the week. I also have skype so you can contact me in case there is a lack of guards online.
I know many commands of the top of my head and type fast. So i can go 1,2,3,4,5 for border hoppers. Also i will say "Drop the sword" Quickly so they cant run away with it.
I Have a fast pc which rarely lags even on this server so i can see people with swords even when hiding behind others. Im not very east to trick with things.
Unlike many who want trainee/guard, i will not flaunt my rank to others. I have literally saw a guard say "RESPECT MY AUTHORTIAAA" (South Park Quote).
I know many plugins and have experience with them too. I have studied what the guards do and what they do in each situation.
Im not very rude to people who are mean to me because i am always in a good mood and i would NEVER take my anger out on a innocent player.
I can also PvP multple players and spot an aimbotter. I know what X-ray holes look like and I can inform a aplha guard if i see x-ray holes. I will check the mine often for those things and multitask
I would never use my rank to personal gain, only to help the server.
Lastly i would like to be guard because i like teamwork and i am friends with a couple of guards. I respond well to pressure and i have much experience as an admin.

This is also a reason why I don't really support buying second-hand accounts, you don't really ever know what servers they're banned on, etc. My suggestion to people who buy second-hand accounts anyway: ask an admin on the server that you play on to check if the account is banned if you don't have access to /seen like we do here on Convicted. If the person is unwilling to give you the account name, it would be best to just not buy it.
