The ban reason might have been not really ban-worthy (I don't know the whole story, so I won't start a discussion about it), the ban appeal is rather abysmal.
There are no paragraphs, hardly any punctuation marks, and the capitalisation is completely random, which makes the ban appeal extemely difficult to read.
It might not be important in-game, but decent grammar should be a standard on the forums, as it's not just a chat.
All ban appeals are treated equally, so it does not matter how long you have played on the server or of you have chaos.
That part of the post was definitely just an April Fool's Joke.
I am fairly sure that it is going to be a separate application.
Firstly giving everyone the possibility to attain a moderator's position with just money would be stupid, and secondly that's how it is done on almost all other servers.
I can tell the whole story as I was on the server from the start of the duping to the end:
In the afternoon (european afternoon that is, so Keep in mind all wardens were at School/asleep/doing stuff, well, not on the Server)
a new free, who had around 4 mil, started ranking up C's and giving away Money. At first that wasn't suspicious, but after he had given away 2-3 mil we started to ask how he got that much Money. He replied "I sold stuff." Of course he did not Elaborate, but we asked again after he had somehow got another 4 mil. Same question, same answer. Finally B0mber got on, so explained it to him on TS. After he had watched the Person for a while (who had given away at least 10 mil by then), we discussed it on TS again. As it was quite clear that he did not get the Money legitimately, B0mb finally banned the duper and his brother, who had also around 4 mil, which he gave away too, for 'Suspicion of Dupe' to Limit the damage. Without Access to logs, we couldn't find out the truth.
I presume that the wardens have checked the logs now.
(Sorry if the capitalisation is messed up, but somehow my (german) spellchecker is on, so it automatically capitalises all nouns and Fixing it would be too much work).

I have a lot of experience on this server. I have been all of the ranks including A, B, C, and D so I think that in that way I can help make the server better by knowing it more. I'm also an op free so I have experience with riots on the other side but now I'd like to experience it from a guards point of view. Another reason experience would come in handy is because I know how everything works which would be great for a guard to know (a lot of guards don't know how it works and abuse). People like me on the server so it would be a great reason to promote me because people would know me and trust me to keep the server safe.Ok so I've been in iAmKdkanes faction for a while and I've finally realized that I really need a new experience on the server and I think it's time to take a break from Sackboiis. I hope it doesn't take too much explaining but people kind of thought of me as kane's pet for a loooong time and now I really am getting sick of it and would like to take a chance to view the server in a different way (being in kane's faction meant rioting and having tons of OP gear so that could help with guarding). I don't think I am THE BEST choice for guard, but possibly one of the best. I am a very mature, respectful person. I rarely ever get into arguments or insult someone / disrespect them in any way. I want to become a guard to enforce the rules on convicted and keep the prison clean.
If I do get guard, I play on being extremely active. I will play 4-5 hours daily and probably more on the weekends. I am normally on from around 2:30 EST until 7:30 EST unless something comes up. I will obey all the guard rules, I will not abuse my powers. I won't disrespect the players or other staff members. Overall, I think I am one of the best choices for guard because I am mature enough, respectful enough, and active enough to help enforce rules and keep the server clean.

7) Why are you the best choice for guard? : There is a load of answers I could give for this quest and not be satisfied with. Obviously, no one person is the best for any thing, be it a real job or a position, only what someone feels is the best. Since I don’t have a solid answer, I’ll try my best to voice my strong sides to you, as well as my weaker qualities.
I feel best quality is my seniority and experience on Convicted. I’ve seen and done a lot, from escaping D, to participating in riots, to exploring the opportunities of being free. I have observed many great guards over my run at convicted, taking away some of what they did and using it as my own. Players like SDAngle, Builder1028, and renots taught me a lot about what it takes to be guard, even if they didn’t realize it themselves. I started to pick up what they did, and began to use what worked from their approaches, such as SDA’s use of the bow to pick off prisoners without threat, as most don’t carry a bow themselves. Watching is the best form of learning
This should be an obvious statement, but I’ll say it anyway, just to make sure It’s known well. I will guard “by the book” so to speak. What I mean is, any rules that are used for the guard rank, I will follow with the stone cold discipline of a soldier. I care for my friends and allies, but I must follow the rules like anyone else. I despise people who are corrupt and use their power for their own purposes, especially when it damages other people who work hard and long for what they deserve. I have no regrets in killing, jailing or even reporting a friend. No slack, no wiggle room, no second chances. I myself have never done anything to jeopardize my stay at convicted. I had always gone through the fair way, and will make sure all follow the same path.
Another thing I feel should be obvious but mentioned: I am decent at fighting. I know guards don’t get themselves into fights, and this should be the least important reason for anyone to become guard, but they have a duty to break them up. What use is a guardian who fails to be able to protect the innocent from others? I feel that if I am going to give this job a try, then I should at least be good enough to give it a good run. Otherwise, the Cs would live in chaos.
My relations with the current guards are pretty good. I have respected their opinions to the best of my ability and tried to not be purposefully negative or nasty. Being human, I have exchanged words with them that were low, but I never tried to start up fights with them. I hope that they welcome me into their ranks without a problem so that I could become one of the famed Guards.

I would consider myself the best choice for guard because I am a trustworthy player who will uphold the the rules of the server and punish players when the time is necessary. That being said I can also be a fun and caring player. I love to include myself in various competitions and events that the server holds. I am in my opinion a very good team player and I can work well with the other guards on the server. As far as guarding is concerned I am quite well off. I do not know if trainees and guards can use chaos or not, but even if they can't I can still hold my weight as a good pvper and can handle myself in any fight that presents itself.
I have been playing this server for well over a year now and have come to know and befriend many of the players on this server. I can say without a doubt in my mind that Convicted is the single greatest server I have ever been on (Thus it is the only server I have ever donated to.). I would like a chance to be able to help this server be even greater by offering my guard-ship in hopes of making the overall experience for all players new and old alike better in whichever ways that I can make the server better. I know that being a guard is a huge responsibility and it is one that I know that can handle and strive in.
The decision to apply for guard now is because I have come to the realization that being a guard is something that would fulfill achievement in myself, knowing that I can help people, knowing that I can achieve more than mining all day . I know that guard is the right path for me and I thank each and every player on this server for making it one of, if not the best server experience I have ever had, and might very well have in my life. (I also played on a friends account occasionally and frequently on my cousins account when I visited her, so technically over a year.)

(1-2 paragraphs) I think I am the best choice for a guard because I have seen many C's complaining about a lack of guards, which I personally don't believe; but I still think I could help with them if needed. I am also skilled in PvP combat with a sword and like an Olympian archer in minecraft. I am willing to help any of my superiors, including Noakii, Dusty, Viper, Benjee, Hexa, pretty much any warden and also any Alpha Guards or Guard. I am loyal and will do what is need, no more no less. Im getting slightly bored of hanging out at omega all the time so I think it would be cool to see the last part of the server that I haven't had the chance to see yet. In my time as a prisoner at Convicted I only attacked 4 guards and 3 times it was an accident, the other time the guard abused his powers and later was demoted after multiple complaints.

5) Experience: Not previously, Convicted was my first prison server that my friend introduced to me a while back

7) Why are you the best choice for guard: I am the best choice for guard because I try to be fair and honest with others. I do not cheat and will not break any server rules. I will always make sure people are jailed if necessary(for things such as border hopping and not giving items when requested) and try to be on the server as much as possible(usually 2-3 hours on weekends and 10-30 minutes on weekdays). I love to PVP and will protect anyone that is being attacked if they have done nothing wrong. Convicted is one of my favorite servers, and I would greatly appreciate being given the honor of becoming a guard.
Since I have already had alot of experience with this server, I know all the rules and will apply them justly. I know the ins and outs of the prison, so I can come to aid other guards in an instant. If a huge fight is going on in B courtyard, then expect me to be there (and save the day!) I will not provoke any fights or abuse my powers, by doing things such as banking guard kits or jailing unfairly. I am mature enough to handle the position as I will never say or do anything that will reflect badly on the guards of this server. I will try to be on as often as possible, if I do not have anything else I need to take care of.
I believe that guards should be the role-models for other members of the server. As players who enforce the rules of the server,they should be honest, trustworthy, and mature. I believe I am all three of these things. I am mature because I will never participate in fights going on in the chat, or hold a grudge against any prisoner nor unfairly favor them. I am trustworthy because I will always fullfil my role as a guard, and never break any server rules. Finally, I am honest because if I ever do something I should not be doing as a guard, such as starting fights with other prisoners, I will not lie about it and face up to the consequences.

I despise people who are corrupt and use their power for their own purposes, especially when it damages other people who work hard and long for what they deserve. I have no regrets in killing, jailing or even reporting a friend. No slack, no wiggle room, no second chances. I myself have never done anything to jeopardize my stay at convicted. I had always gone through the fair way, and will make sure all follow the same path.
Another thing I feel should be obvious but mentioned: I am decent at fighting. I know guards don’t get themselves into fights, and this should be the least important reason for anyone to become guard, but they have a duty to break them up. What use is a guardian who fails to be able to protect the innocent from others? I feel that if I am going to give this job a try, then I should at least be good enough to give it a good run. Otherwise, the Cs would live in chaos.
My relations with the current guards are pretty good. I have respected their opinions to the best of my ability and tried to not be purposefully negative or nasty. Being human, I have exchanged words with them that were low, but I never tried to start up fights with them. I hope that they welcome me into their ranks without a problem so that I could become one of the famed Guards.

9) What is your current prison rank? I have been a free for quite a long time. I also have Donor and the following stars in this order: Donor Pink, Light Red, Blue, Green, purple and orange.
10) Other stuff you should know about me: My real name is John. I live in New York in the USA. I am currently in eighth grade and taking advanced math and science. I love to read horror stories and play video games, preferably mine craft. I have TeamSpeak as well as Skype, though i prefer Teamspeak. Both forms of communication are fine.

7) Why are you the best choice for guard? I would consider myself the best choice for guard because I am a trustworthy player who will uphold the the rules of the server and punish players when the time is necessary. That being said I can also be a fun and caring player. I love to include myself in various competitions and events that the server holds. I am in my opinion a very good team player and I can work well with the other guards on the server. As far as guarding is concerned I am quite well off. I do not know if trainees and guards can use chaos or not, but even if they can't I can still hold my weight as a good pvper and can handle myself in any fight that presents itself.
I have been playing this server for well over a year now and have come to know and befriend many of the players on this server. I can say without a doubt in my mind that Convicted is the single greatest server I have ever been on (Thus it is the only server I have ever donated to.). I would like a chance to be able to help this server be even greater by offering my guard-ship in hopes of making the overall experience for all players new and old alike better in whichever ways that I can make the server better. I know that being a guard is a huge responsibility and it is one that I know that can handle and strive in.
The decision to apply for guard now is because I have come to the realization that being a guard is something that would fulfill achievement in myself, knowing that I can help people, knowing that I can achieve more than mining all day

(Minimum of 3 days) I have been playing on the server for eight and a half months.
(I also played on a friends account occasionally and frequently on my cousins account when I visited her, so technically over a year.)

I have read ALL server rules more than once to put it in my memory.
5) Any experience with the prison genre?
Yes I played on one other prison server which was pretty crappy compared to Convicted.

My time zone is PST (Pacific Standard Time in California)
7) Why are you the best choice for guard? (1-2 paragraphs)
I think I am the best choice for a guard because I have seen many C's complaining about a lack of guards, which I personally don't believe; but I still think I could help with them if needed. I am also skilled in PvP combat with a sword and like an Olympian archer in minecraft. I am willing to help any of my superiors, including Noakii, Dusty, Viper, Benjee, Hexa, pretty much any warden and also any Alpha Guards or Guard. I am loyal and will do what is need, no more no less. Im getting slightly bored of hanging out at omega all the time so I think it would be cool to see the last part of the server that I haven't had the chance to see yet. In my time as a prisoner at Convicted I only attacked 4 guards and 3 times it was an accident, the other time the guard abused his powers and later was demoted after multiple complaints.

I do understand that nagging Wardens will result in my app to be declined, I mean I certainly wouldn't want somebody doing that to me.

5) Experience: Not previously, Convicted was my first prison server that my friend introduced to me a while back

7) Why are you the best choice for guard: I am the best choice for guard because I try to be fair and honest with others. I do not cheat and will not break any server rules. I will always make sure people are jailed if necessary(for things such as border hopping and not giving items when requested) and try to be on the server as much as possible(usually 2-3 hours on weekends and 10-30 minutes on weekdays). I love to PVP and will protect anyone that is being attacked if they have done nothing wrong. Convicted is one of my favorite servers, and I would greatly appreciate being given the honor of becoming a guard.
Since I have already had alot of experience with this server, I know all the rules and will apply them justly. I know the ins and outs of the prison, so I can come to aid other guards in an instant. If a huge fight is going on in B courtyard, then expect me to be there (and save the day!) I will not provoke any fights or abuse my powers, by doing things such as banking guard kits or jailing unfairly. I am mature enough to handle the position as I will never say or do anything that will reflect badly on the guards of this server. I will try to be on as often as possible, if I do not have anything else I need to take care of.
I believe that guards should be the role-models for other members of the server. As players who enforce the rules of the server,they should be honest, trustworthy, and mature. I believe I am all three of these things. I am mature because I will never participate in fights going on in the chat, or hold a grudge against any prisoner nor unfairly favor them. I am trustworthy because I will always fullfil my role as a guard, and never break any server rules. Finally, I am honest because if I ever do something I should not be doing as a guard, such as starting fights with other prisoners, I will not lie about it and face up to the consequences.
