Just applied for whitelist. I think Mrey will have fun reading my extensive response to the questions. :wink.gif:
I have my response copied to a Word document. I can copy it here if anyone wants to read it. BAHAHAHA yeah right...
I'm at what is probably the most boring time of my life. All I have is my dad's work laptop. I don't even have my freaking guitar! D:
Last time, I had my guitar, but no computer. Guitar can only keep me occupied for so long. I was so bored it actually hurt. Imagine how I felt when I didn't have my dad's laptop. D8

Whitelist me quickly, I think I'm losing my mind.
...oh wait, I already was losing it. Never mind.
I still would like to be whitelisted though.
Added, and, I couldnt even read the whole response, it was too big for google docs ._.
To everyone who has applied, If you are still not on the whitelist, either I derped, or you were denied and need to apply again.

Lolololol. Too big for Google Docs, what is this madness? They have hundreds of thousands of servers all across the globe, and yet it can't display an extended whitelist application?
Well, then again, those servers are mostly for the search engine...
Anyway:
Tell us about yourself.
Warning: Long read.
Eh... I'm a very tolerant, lenient, easy-going person. I firmly believe in giving people multiple chances, as we all have the ability to learn from mistakes, and we should be allowed to do so.
I'm also very logical, and I know that judgment is better made in sound mind than one plagued by emotions. If only other people shared this same philosophy...
Admittedly, I can be a bit of a smartass at times, but it's (more often than not) for the lolz.
Despite what I've said about being easy-going, I won't hesitate to take the necessary action if and when the situation calls for it.
I'm semi-loyal to any given server. (I.e., I'll visit other servers if the server in question is down, or in a similar dilemma; or if someone invites me to another server, which I'll probably visit for 5 minutes and then return to this one) It's near-impossible to stay 100% loyal to any server, as someone will always log in to another server they haven't been on in a long time just to say hi and whatnot. Hell, I sometimes log in to CMP servers, because some of my very first Minecraft friends play exclusively on CMP.
What have you built before? Rate your building skill.
Warning: VERY long read!
I've built a lot of things. I can't build statues that would be shown off in spawn or anything like that, but I can build great modern houses, and I excel in building towers. I detest building castles, forts, or other non-modern structures. Roughly early 20th-century-era architecture is as far back as I'll go, with brick and mortar and the like. I'd prefer to build as modern as possible. However, I'm not very fond of building futuristic structures, but I can be convinced quickly to do so, as I'm eager to learn.
I build in a semi-improv style. This means that I have a general idea of what I'm going to build. I'll sometimes draw up blueprints, but I'll most likely make last-minute changes due to reasons including, but not limited to:
1. Space constraints
2. Height limits
3. Creative-mode availability
4. New block types
5. Feedback from other players
I believe that, given the time, a player can go from building dirt huts to building cathedrals. I was always good at designing houses, but I rarely used more than one or two materials, mainly wood and logs. My houses were an eyesore. Now, I have come a long way and have greatly improved my building skills. As always, I'm seeking to improve them further.
On a side note, I'm one of the players that believe that diamond isn't an ugly building material. If used wisely, it will greatly enhance the essence of the building. In my opinion, the only less-than-favorable building material is any kind of ore. Seriously, it has no blending texture with anything.
And you know what? So what if a building is hindered by poor material choices? The only thing that matters is that the builder put their best effort to creating what they saw fit to create, even if it only looks good in their eyes. (Or their texture pack) In real life, gold ore looks absolutely beautiful, like sparkling limestone. (Contrary to what you might think, it doesn't look gold at all. This is because of the particle size) Also, if someone wants to use jack-o-lanterns as their source of light, let them. After all, it makes for a far better lamp than lightstone.
In the end, I don't think that someone's building skill should determine their experience on a server. The only thing that matters is the people that play on the servers. You can be just as creative (if not more so) on a singleplayer map, but player interaction is what gives multiplayer its shining essence.
So what if they're not a good builder? If they're fun to be around, it doesn't matter. All that's important is enjoying each other's company.
...phew.

Anyway, I applied. Any redstone server = insta-join and this happens to be the first one I saw.
Building on singe player gets boring after a few months. Would tnt cannons be allowed on the redstone server? I know tnt = grief material but the cannons are so awesome. o:
Builder & Redstoner are still being given out like candy. I suggest we change the color from cyan to white. And newbie from white to gray. And maybe even add a rank called "Architect" which is for REALLY ****ING GOOD BUILDERS. And the requirements for it would be to build something insanely massive and has to have good grammar, and has been with us for at least 1 1/2 weeks.

I was thinking the same earlier but a little different.
Redstoneering is really unappreciated on this server. So perhaps we could make a rank for people who are good at both building and redstoneering. Architect would be a perfect name :tongue.gif:.
You could also make new ranks like Advanced Builder/Redstoner.
