The Enderchest was a small vanilla server (and always vanilla, we have never had a single mod installed) created about a little over a year ago. Due to various reasons the group split up and stopped playing together, but a few weeks ago we changed that. We have started a new server (this time hosted through Mojang's Realms service) and we are back at it playing once again.
What is the server like?
The Enderchest is a small friendly server, everybody knows each other and having a strong community is important. We have just started playing again and not much has been done on the server so it's the perfect time to join, you will be able to help us with some projects and play some mini-games with us. Right now we haven't even defeated the dragon yet, but we plan to do it next week, we also need to build a nether hub and fix up spawn. If you're someone who enjoys a mix between community projects and surviving in your own little corner of the world then this is the perfect server for you!

Joining is as easy as posting a small "application" in this thread, tell us a bit about yourself, tell us what your favorite part of minecraft is, don't forget to tell us what you would name your pet wolf in minecraft so we can be sure you read this all the way through.

Alright, I guess there's no harm in providing a template, here's all the points you should hit if you even want to be considered.
IGN: The name you log into minecraft with, make sure to type it exactly, we'll need it if we whitelist you.
Name: Something besides your IGN, first name is fine!
Age: We prefer older players who are around 16+, sorry kiddos!
Have you been banned before: We want honest people, if we found out you were banned and you don't tell us you're on the no fly list.
Skype: You must have a skype account, we have an on going group chat and it's how we plan any events/mini-games/projects, we also use it for voice chat when we do mini-games or just want to shoot the breeze.
Timezone/Country: What timezone and country are you in.
Anything else: feel free to tell us a joke or something interesting.

Don't complain about the age limit, we had it a year ago, and people complained about it then, we're not changing it, if you complain I will probably laugh at you.
Try to type more than 20 words, a little effort goes a long way.
If you get "added" there might be a few hour delay from when you're accepted here and when you're actually added on the server, Nidair, who is the one running the Realm server lives in Europe so depending on how busy he is and when you're accepted here there might be a few hour delay, we'll let you know when you can actually join the server.
We want people who are interested in doing group projects, this is not a hardcore PvP anarchy server, it's a small friendly group.

Anything else: Well I've been playing Minecraft very off and on since Alpha as most of the time the servers I play on die off or get overwhelmed, neither of which are fun. My favourite it 100% vanilla since its how I first started and was the most used to, plus I like the whole experience more. I also enjoy playing on servers that are friendly and have good co-op times, but also allows me to go off and do whatever you like if that's what I feel like. Basically I like playing with other people and helping, etc if needed, but also like to do my own thing sometimes, so I can be seen as quiet. Also about me, I don't usually get offended by anything and very rarely get mad.
Basically everything you've described about your server sounds like what I enjoy most, so I'd be happy to give it a shot. I especially enjoy the part where you said that not much has been done, because I don't like those servers where everyone seems to already have massive castles and diamond and you're stuck with a piece of wood. I used to run a server with three friends (local server, never had anyone else/never wanted anyone else) Me and my friend kept banning us and ing off our other friend who actually ran the server. Mainly because why not. Also teleported each other into lava a few times. Also great fun.
