MindJacker is a private, 24/7 white listed almost vanilla survival server. We are using spigot for the anti-grief & Dynmap.
We use MCPro Hosting, the server is located in Dallas, Texas
We have a great community, members that get along, have a laugh, help each other and just generally enjoy playing Minecraft.
We have our own forums setup for members to chat, ask for help and even to play other games. Alongside that we have a TS3 server for all members to jump in on and chat away whilst playing.
The main aim of the server is to survive, so no shock there! Although we do throw in added stuff as well, like UHC events (planned for future) as well as any other ideas that our community have. Here ideas are welcome to improve not only the server, but the game play for those on it!
We are now working towards establishing our own identity so we can stand out alongside some of the best Minecraft servers out there.
We are currently playing 1.7.4 Difficulty: Hard.

◾No griefing!

◾PvP is enabled, please don't abuse it or I will strike with the ban hammer! (please don't make me though!)

◾Chests will not be locked, so beware that some people may not be as trust worthy as others, hide those valuables out of sight!
◾Anyone caught stealing will be banned.
◾Do not place beds in either the Nether or The End! (Yes we have had a player do this in the first 2 mins on the server!)
◾Any one found using hacks/spawning in items will be banned instantly, I don't like cheats, full stop!
◾We have Dynmap installed (It's the LiveMap tab on the website), Please use it to make sure you don't build next to another member.
◾Please see Levon42 for a Tunnel in the Nether Hub, once you find a place to build in the over world.
◾Admins will sometimes TP to others to help. Please don't ask to be TP, Exceptions are made in some cases, like ported to the top of the Nether.

What are you good at? I tend to be best at smaller, well designed, semi-functional builds. I usually stay away from giant, purely cosmetic projects. I enjoy a random foray into the wilderness too. Not so great at redstone mechanisms.
What is your Favorite Block in Minecraft: My favorite block for looks is Lapis block, but building wise, I like quartz blocks and the dark wood blocks.

Tell us about yourself: I'm an artist and musician, one of my favorite things in the world is deep sea fishing, and a life goal of mine is to write and direct a western film (I do video work currently).

If I work that day, 1-3 hours of play time, if not then probably a couple more. Do you have TeamSpeak and are you willing to use it?: I do not have TeamSpeak, but I use Skype. I'm open to looking into TS if that's what everyone else uses.
Why do you want to join MindJacker?: Looking for a mature community of minecraft players to have fun with, this game is at its best when played together! Plus, playing around others seems to boost my creativity and desire to build.

What are you good at? I tend to be best at smaller, well designed, semi-functional builds. I usually stay away from giant, purely cosmetic projects. I enjoy a random foray into the wilderness too. Not so great at redstone mechanisms.
What is your Favorite Block in Minecraft: My favorite block for looks is Lapis block, but building wise, I like quartz blocks and the dark wood blocks.
What is your Main building style?: As I said above, well designed, semi functional builds. I try to build things that I don't see other people doing, such as ranches and a special renovation I'm planning for a jungle biome
Tell us about yourself: I'm an artist and musician, one of my favorite things in the world is deep sea fishing, and a life goal of mine is to write and direct a western film (I do video work currently).
How active will you be?:Will you record Youtube Videos? If so, what is your Youtube channel?: I will typically play 4-5 days out of the week. If I work that day, 1-3 hours of play time, if not then probably a couple more. I do not currently have a YouTube channel, though I would like to start recording and posting once I get a high quality external drive setup. I've already got all the other equipment/programs needed to do so, I just don't want to bog down my internal drive.

I'm pretty decent at integrating the land or sea into my buildings, last server I was on I made an awesome treehouse in the snow biome and a server before that I had my house pretty far out on the water

Stone blocks, they look better than cobblestone to me personally.

I'm a dude, I'm a musician, and I'm from the US. I like talking and doing stuff with people but I also like my space, I'm nice though I swear. I also like Adventure Time, The Walking Dead, Studio Ghibli films, and I really like traveling to different locations. My favorite type of food is a tie between Mexican and Chinese. I know some languages aside from English, but I can only speak one of them really well.

Please be specific & elaborate: I guess I'm good at underground building and details, I mean, I like my things to be symmetric and proportional, a house is not a cobble stone square with grass for a floor, at least not after the first night. Besides that, I usually tend to stock up on resources and (if possible) growing them myself.
