Why I should add you to the server: I'm looking to do community-like stuff with other people as singleplayer can get boring quite often. I don't disrupt anyone nor their buildings, I don't steal as I would not want the same to happen to me. I also build VERY away from other people, for my own privacy mostly, as well a so I don't intrude accidentally on other peoples property. I don't talk much unless I have a question, or someone talks to me, so I won't be disruptive to the chat or spam it.
Edit: Also, I have MC 1.8, so I can't log on right away (if I get accepted that is), but I'll wait, do you know when bukkit is to update to 1.8?

No one really knows when it is going to update. That being said, we are looking for other options to update.

Joined the server yesterday, and I'm quite happy with it. A few things to know before you join:
1. The server is set on Hard difficulty. You will die some. It's ok.
2. The map is a limited size. It's still large, mind you, so there is plenty of space for a lot more people.
3. There is a Dynmap, so you can see some cool stuff when you're not online.
4. There are plugins that allow you to lock your chests and set a home. Use them.
Overall, it's a great server, but you better watch your butt if you log on at night. I don't know how long I've spent hiding under my sandstone mountain, but I do know that the first time I ventured outside of it, a creeper blew up my doorway and left me with half a heart's worth of life (to madly scurry around in a blind fury, desperate to rebuild). The zombie hordes that stare longingly through my small window panes are both endless and brutal. I love it.
WHY: I'm usually a survival player who likes a challenge, and often completes worlds on hardcore. I know how to survive, and how to get set up fairly quickly. I'm new to online server play, but am starting to get addicted. But I have noticed it is very hard to find a mature server (21+) who work as a community to co exist, but to also have fun and do challenges and goals. Plus i like to learn more and more about mine craft everyday. I've only been playing for about 6-8 months, but play both on console and pc.
When I'm home from work (traveling sales rep) I tend to play 1-3 hours every evening. I'm on the east coast so I usually hop on around 9pm-12am.
I have Skype on my phone for chat/messaging, and could really get anything else I would need.
I also have no problem donating to help out when I can.

Why I should add you to the server: Active and friendly player who likes to build things for the community on the server. I enjoy taking my time and grinding to get resources to build big scale builds. I also appreciate small, detailed builds and build them from time to time too.
