BackStory (Minimum 1 Paragraph):[/b]

My mother died in childbirth. My father could barely support himself, not to mention a kid, but we survived. I went to public school n some town in the Mojave (I cant remember teh details! it was 200 something years ago!) I was out of place in the area I grew up, I didnt do chems, didn't run chems and didn't join a gang, I was more interested in reading Poe and lovecraft to care, as those where teh only 2 books I had growing up. I dropped out of school right before graduation, I had to support my father after he was hurt on teh job, building vertabirds for the war. I worked odd jobs, living of second hand necessities and begging to meet the loose ends, My father died teh day before my 19th birth day, may 6, 2077. Happy birth day i guess. I spent the money I saved from my father dying from food and a mouth later i changed my name, to Howard. I cant even remeber the orignal name. I was told my mother picked it. I cant remember her name, or my fathers, neither of their faces. On the day of teh blast, I was sitting by a news stand, not even open yet. chilly October day, I left my job, got my apartment repossessed, then got any belongings other than that taken away, all i was left with was the clothes on my back and the book i had my whole life, I knew the stories from front to back, Lovecraft. I finished the book once more before I saw the light, the light of a 1000 suns. It was like leaving the womb a second time, the blinding light the intense heat, then cold. Hard dark cold, tears filling your eyes as you breathe a different type of air, few did, But I certainly did so. A darkness few knew of fallowed by ashes, cold, I woke up my clothes burned and tore, covered in ash and what seemed like snow, I don't know what my first though was but I know my first word, "damn" [/b]

I walked from that city among the wastes, watching the few living plants die under ash and snow. after the snow stopped, I met others like me, survivors. I told them stories from the book i still held on to, even if the pages where burn and some parts of the stories missing, I re-wrote them filling in words. I saw the first eyes of children re-enter the wastes, I saw the brotherhood steal there technology in the name of safety, and I don't blame them. I saw bandits fight the NCR and the Brotherhood fall to it's knees, slithering like a snake underground, hiding from the hawk to eat it. I saw men burning on crosses under the flag of a bull. I've seen fights in bars ending with knifes and guns. I've seen light crawl up the skin of a man walking down the street, and his shadow being burned into the building behind them. I've noticed that many things change, like reason or establishment. Time and races. But war?[/b]
