Hi, I'm TheGamingCloudHD, a Minecraft Youtuber. Cloud SMP is a Mindcrack inspired Youtuber Community server. Our ultimate goal is to create a fun and friendly environment, all while entertaining our viewers through Youtube. We hope that throughout your experience on the server, you will form friendships, and have your very own Youtube channels benefit from each other’s. We are hoping to provide a unique and fun experience, and our only way to do so is to recruit some interesting and fun personalities.
[b]Are you right for the job?[/b]
To start off, you should know what kind of players we are looking for. One thing that may set us apart is our willingness to let anyone join. We don’t care if you have 1 subscriber or a thousand, all are welcome to apply. The same goes for age limit, and pretty much any factor. What we are looking for are great personalities that will set our server apart, and you won’t get that if you ignore certain groups of people. However, one mandatory requirement is to have decent recording equipment, such as a proper microphone and screen recorder. We prefer quality over quantity, so any video that goes up should be of decent quality. Please no potato mics or screen recorders that capture [b]everything on the screen[/b].
[b]*To make things clear, we accept people of any age group or subscriber base. You HAVE to be a Youtuber, however*[/b]
[b]You are also expected to upload once a week at least[/b]
[b]How to apply: [/b]
Due to our will to have interesting members join the server, the application format is entirely up to you, however it must be in the form of a video. This verifies you have at least decent recording equipment and it gives us the opportunity to really get to know you as a person through commentary, and not just some words on a screen.[b] It is up to you how much effort goes into the application.[/b] We will be able to tell if it is something rushed out and doesn't have much effort going into it. The more effort, the higher chance of you being whitelisted.
There are some mandatory information we would like to know such as:
-Your IGN
-Your YouTube channel
-Skype info
-Age (For statistical purposes)
-Experience in the Game
-Skills/ Talents
-Plans for the server
[b]*Applications MUST be in video format, embedded as a reply to this thread*[/b]
[b]Rules:[/b]
In order for all of us to have the best possible experience, there are some rules that MUST be followed.
-[b]Do not steal and/or grief of any kind. Items may only be taken with consent of the owner, so stealing or griefing will result in a ban.
-Be polite and respectful to other player (Intense profanity or racial slurs will result in a ban)
-All community builds must remain at spawn
-NO CHEATING OR MODS THAT ALTER THE GAME IN YOUR FAVOR (Mods like Optifine are permitted however)
-No foul behavior (Be mindful of other Youtuber subscriber bases) -You may prank, but destructive pranks and/or pranks involving the death of another player will be considered griefing[/b] (Say APRICOT in your application to let me know you actually read this)
Cloud SMP currently has 26 slots. We are hoping to fill at least 15 by January 10th.
