Why am I interested: The idea of an RPG server that isn't built directly into the current existing mods and plugins intrigues me. I like that the base for this server is around anime such as SAO, and I feel that this adds a very unique element to what sounds like a very interesting server.
Expectations: to see something different than what I've seen on some other servers. obviously as an RPG style server, certain things might be similar, but I like the fact that there (appear to be) specific builds, and possibly dungeons built specifically for the purpose of going out and raiding, as opposed to some other RPG games, which simply add skills like woodcutting to the normal Minecraft experience, but don't add much in actual content or direction.
Other Details: Not much really, I've read through most of the posts in the thread, and overall it sounds great. I'm curious as to whether you have a server texture pushed through or if you allow players to use their own packs for textures(I can think of one I will probably use if you don't have a server texture, hence why I am asking).
Anyways, I'll check back on this tomorrow or possibly the day after, and see if I can hop on the server, as it appears that applications are readily accepted to the beta, they just aren't always directly responded to

Why?:I've been interested in playing a RPG server that is far from the norm. After seeing your explaination of the server, I feel that this is something I could set my teeth into and help with. I like to build in the fantasy/medieval feel for years and assisting in such a grand design would be incredible. I mostly am a redstone engineer, I feel doing redstone is such a calming aspect and I can sit there for hours, just playing with it.

I tend to pick up small jobs to help better myself as a writer wherever I can. They're manly more of a hobby than anything, but with the amount of time I have, I spend a lot of said time doing these small hobbies. The reason for being a Dungeon Builder is essentially the same thing. (And if you may be wondering why i'm applying for specifically dungeons, it's because I terribly suck at house designing. Exterior, at least. I'm more of an oddity builder rather than a normal builder)

I do have a microphone, however, the audio for my computer has been screwy lately, so I might not be able to actually use my microphone for a while. I've been trying my damnedest to fix it though. Hoping to get it fixed soon.

Might as well just knock off the last two. As a builder, i'm not exactly the best, but I could be measured to be at least above average. Again, like I said in the "Why?" bit, I'm not good with normal builds like houses or castles; I focus more on the odd things. Dungeons, ruins, encampments, caverns, and other things. As for writing, i'm actually a professional writer (though that has little meaning seeing as how i've yet to get anything published or finished). I take pride in my work, and I'm pretty damn good at it.
Now, as for past works, i'll give one for each; mainly since that's all I can find.
For building, here is something I made for a minigame server known as a The Core, for their minigame Control Point. It's not my best work, but it's definitely something. You will probably take note of the hills in the background right away, in which I will admit, i'm not that great at terraforming.

What are your expectations? That this server will allow player input and some control over many aspects, such as events. Its fun to get away, but I find that most people roleplay to be a Hero, and given the right amount of control, they can and still maintain a fun environment for others. Also, personally, I enjoy minecraft as a game, and find other servers that take away most aspects of what minecraft really is to lose some appeal. Such as building and mining and creating. If someone doesn't want to go buy most of their materials from others, and would rather go adventure and find them themselves, they should be able to.
Any other details?: I have been playing Minecraft since 1.5 beta, if that means anything. Other than that, nothing come to mind.

Thanks for the applications. In terms of user input, we definitely want user input and would like to have our community shape our server. Of course there are some grander scheme ideas in place, but that doesn't mean things can't be bent a bit for the needs and the bettering of the community and the server.

As of our work schedule right now, we're running a bit behind schedule because of our own lives getting in the way. We can confirm for sure that we'll have a beta running by the end of this month, into May, but would like to start the server a whole lot sooner.

In other news, we just updated our website, our logos, and we have a new signature. I also finished the Cooking Skill and will be tackling the other skills soon. The Map Dev. team is now tackling Region 3.
